This is a small restaurant but it is very good. Their service was great and the food is excellent! We will be returning fairly often!

Walked in after lunch rush today and was quickly greeted by a young lady and let us know she would be right with us. The restaurant had quite a few empty seats and was excited to have a day off and enjoy a lunch with my husband and catch up on life as he's always out of town. As we stood there a server rushed over and grabbed menus while my husband went to wash his hands began to seat us in a two person seat between a few men enjoying themselves catching up as well and I asked her politely if it would be a problem if we sat to the right where both my husband and I can sit together in the booth on the same side of the table. Let me remind you the restaurant had plenty of seating as we purposely waited till after lunch rush . She slammed the menus down and rolled her eyes and walked away. As my husband was walking out the girl proceeded to express her frustration that I asked to move to another server pretty loud as my husband heard her complaining and pointing about me. Very unprofessional as I'm a manager myself of a company and I know I strive to always please guests. I wasn't asking much and I know they have a system who gets the next table sat but that should not have been an issue. Made me feel uncomfortable. So we politely got up and I saw her and told her next time she shouldn't roll her eyes at the guest and make them feel as if they were an inconvenience. She bolted as we were leaving telling me she can't control her eyes as she has Tourette's. I completely understand if that's the case but the conversation to the gentleman about me is unacceptable. For my husband to walk past and listen to that conversation. Very unprofessional and we will not be back. That's not how I would like to enjoy my lunch ! The young lady has blonde hair pulled back and glasses. I'm sure you can also watch your cameras as she walked out the door to comment to us as well. read more

Very good food, also always very busy & a wait so be prepared. I will often place a take out order. they have a take out window for that.

We were so looking forward to our first experience here. The Press is a great place so we figured this would also be great. Not so much. We ordered the aroncini appetizer. Nice crispy rounds of fried gooey goodness. Fun way to start the evening. We moved on to the margherita pizza, and asked for extra roasted garlic. We received a mushy crust topped with a bland tomato sauce mixed with cheap mozzarella chunks. No seasoning, no flavor, no enjoyment. What we found today was doubly disappointing: not only did we have high expectations from the owners of this group, but surely the idea that one can take simple ingredients and elevate them through proper application to make a superior product should be an executable operation. The entree was poorly executed, and this was the simplest of dishes. This does not speak well for their ability to execute at a higher level. The servers were helpful and provided adequate professional service. Overall we are disappointed and will not be back. read more

All the neighbors have been raving about this place, so some friends and I decided to check it out! SO glad we did! Finally we have an amazing Italian restaurant right by our home with a comfortable and fun atmosphere. I had the lasagna and it may have been the best lasagna I've ever had. Our server, Stephanie, frequently checked in on us and made great conversation. She's AWESOME, request her when you come! Kevin (owner's son) made sure to come over and check on us as well. He suggested the dessert and I'm glad he did because our Belgian waffle sundae was to DIE FOR. I still dream about it. If you haven't tried it, you NEED TO! So we were very excited to try this new restaurant that is owned by the same people as one of our favorite restaurants called The Press (and it's amazing!). Unfortunately we cannot say the same about this one. We went during the week because we heard it was very crowded on weekends and there were long waiting times and lines out the door. So firstly, the tables are very close together. Especially at this time with Covid going on it made me very uncomfortable to be so close to the people at the next table. That being said, we ordered meatballs for an appetizer as this is how I always judge an Italian restaurant. If the meatballs are good then usually it's all good after that! The verdict is in and they we're definitely not the best with a very spongy texture and some were cold and we had to send back to be heated. They handled it well and took it off the bill and gave us another order to go. We had pizza with olives and eggplant and feta cheese and it was just ok but had no sauce or pesto on the crust under the veggies so it was dry. So overall it was a definite disappointment. I had very high hopes for Simone's. A couple of friends and I went for dinner. There was a long wait, but we sat at the bar for a glass of wine and that was pleasant. My friend and I both ordered the chicken Marsala. The pasta was so over cooked that it was borderline mushy. There was barely enough Marsala sauce to wet the noodles. We both asked for a side of the Marsala sauce. The server said it would be $2 for the sauce. We agreed in an attempt to save the pricey meal. 10, 15, 20 minutes later and the server tells us that our sauce sides will be out soon. At this point, we are finished with our food and told her that she can skip the extra sauce because we were already finished. She apologized and said alright. We waited another 15 minutes for the check and noticed that we were both charged for the sauce sides. Our server was pleasant about it and went to the kitchen to make the correction on the bill. She returned and said that the manager will not remove the up charge for sauce (that we never received during the meal), because they already put it in a bowl and heated it. We kindly explained that we would not be paying for something we did not receive. They offered to put the 1/4 cup of sauce in a to go container. We declined that option. We were both disappointed in the lack of customer service and the poor food quality. read more

Found on YELP and a real hidden gem with delicious pastas and pizza! can not recommend the octopus (very tough) but otherwise a good lunch in very pretty setting. Will likely stop in again when passing by St Augustine. read more

We are Italian so we were expecting to be very satisfied with their food, however, it was very under seasoned, undercooked, and over all very disgusting. This restaurant does not even deserve 1 star let alone 5. The pricing for the food was outrageous, and their menus are extremely hard to read. I would never recommend this place to anyone so please save your money. read more

I ordered lunch online for myself and my coworkers and went to pick up the order. The restaurant is beautiful and all of the staff were friendly and very helpful. There was an issue with my order due to a computer glitch while ordering online and the owner and his son were both amazing and got everything taken care of. And then the food was so delicious!!! This restaurant is fantastic! As you come through the door, the smell of the woodfired ovens permeates the atmosphere. We came for lunch and had a Panini and the pesto pasta. This restaurant offered excellent service. Food was full of flavor. When there were minor errors in communication (as expected to new restaurant) owner took quick action to accommodate and please costumers. Simones is now one of my favorites. 100/10. read more
