The food is delicious. My favorite is Pasta Weesie although the name has changed over the years. The bread and the salads are great as well. The wait staff have consistently been attentive. I truly enjoy this eatery. The restaurant is clean and environmentally friendly.

I was driving home from Orlando and my husband suggested that we meet at this restaurant in the St. Augustine area. I am glad he did because it was a great decision. The restaurant is located in a small strip shopping center and has indoor, outdoor and bar seating. We were quickly seated when we arrived at 5:30. By the time we left there was a line of about ten people waiting to be seated. Our server, Jacob, quickly came over to take our drink orders. The menu offers appetizers, salads, pizzas and pasta dishes. We opted for the Insalata Simone. It had greens, olives, carrots, onions, cauliflower, and croutons with a while balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My husband and I split the large version and it was just the right size and very tasty. We also got the Toscana pizza . It had sausage, onions, mozzarella and ricotta cheese. It came with six slices of good tasting pizza. For dessert we ordered a regular and a chocolate chip cannoli. Both were beautiful and tasty.

Overall a good experience. We got there early, before the crowd and were seated immediately. Our waiter, Mica, and an associate,Sam, attended to us. They took time to explain the restaurant and shared the specials. Love the craft to table concept. We ordered the caprese salad as an appetizer. It was decent. Unfortunately, it really isn't tomato season here so it wasn't as good as it could be. For dinner, my wife got the mahi special. I got the shrimp diavolo. Both were good but a bit salty for our palate. Portions look small, but really have a lot to them. Before we were done, the restaurant was packed. Fully understand why so many come here.

In the mood for a brick oven pizza? I was and this hit the spot. The Caprese salad was good, the Margherita pizza was good and the bread pudding was delicious. My only complaint, no liquor, just beer and wine. It's a small place and the wait might be long but I think it's worth it.

We have eaten here many times but it is usually just for their pizza. Tonight we decided to celebrate a birthday with a full meal. We were seated immediately on a Tuesday night and found out that locals get 15% off their checks on Tuesdays. Michael was our server and he explained the specials and answered our questions. The food was spectacular. The pizza with the prosciutto and miele was sensational 10/10. The entrees were large portions so there were plenty of leftovers. I thought the short ribs and pappardelle was also a 10/10. My husband loves chicken parm so he thought it was great. I declined rating it because I do not care for chicken parm in general. The white chocolate bread pudding is magnificent. No matter how full you are, it slides down with the smoothest, most delicious flan like texture. It is not like any bread pudding I have ever had anywhere. It is a great hidden gem in a strip mall. The food is really the star and consistently good service.

Dinner at Simone's Wood Fired Craft Kitchen in St. Augustine, Florida was amazing! This place had great ambience, upscale vibe and every table was full! The wine, appetizers and food were excellent! We started with the freshly baked artisan bread basket with oregano and basil dipping oil. The Salsiccia Toscana Pizza (san marzano sauce, sweet and spicy tuscan sausages, balsamic onion confit-fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheese) was absolutely perfect! Service was exceptional! Finding parking was a little challenging but worth it. I would definitely recommend!

Arrival: There are parking lots nearby--expect to pay around $15-25. As we walked up, there was live jazz music playing in the courtyard, which set a really great vibe right away. Service: Our waiter was attentive and timely without being overbearing. Food: Everything was amazing. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, but honestly fine after filling up on bread. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. Overall: After the Resy credit, parking ended up costing more than the meal, which is kind of wild. Only downside was that there are just two restrooms, and there was a line when we went. Great time overall--will definitely be back.

We started with the bread appetizer, which came with several types of fresh bread and an incredible lineup of spreads like whipped ricotta, truffle butter, regular butter, and honey. Every bread had its own distinct flavor and texture. Next up was the sausage appetizer featuring both a sweet sausage and a spicy sausage, all made in house. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. I may or may not have stolen about four bites... and yes, it was worth it..... We were way too full for dessert, but we did enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner which made the whole experience feel like the perfect date night. The service was fantastic, the food was memorable, and it's definitely a place we'll be coming back to for many more dates!

The cooked penne was sitting on the counter uncovered, just vibing at room temperature like it had officially given up. The sauce? Scooped from a container and reheated with all the passion of a microwave at 2 a.m. The complimentary bread arrived looking hopeful... until we realized it was a square dinner roll slathered in what tasted like imitation garlic and oil -- less Italian trattoria and more middle school cafeteria meets olive oil cosplay. The Chicken Marsala arrived undefeated in battle against any form of tenderizing. This chicken was not pounded thin -- it clearly lifts weights. I needed a steak knife, determination, and possibly a waiver to cut through it. We shared one entrée and a bottle of wine that tasted like grapes filed a formal complaint, and somehow the bill still hit $65. I checked twice to make sure we hadn't accidentally invested in the business. And just when you think the experience is complete, surprise! There's a debit card fee. Don't worry though -- the owner's son (also waiter, host, busboy, and possibly assistant regional manager) will loudly explain it from across the restaurant so the entire dining room can stay informed.

The service was pretty good, I can admit, however even that could've been better. We got started with our evening with a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced. The house arancini was chicken stuffed, which we were only told about after we ordered the dish. Sadly, the chicken pieces were large and there was just not enough cheese to really make this dish work - nor enough sauce. I even got a piece of bone in my arancini, which just ruined my appetite. We then had decided on the chicken parm for the main course (which later we realized was rather similar to the arancini). The first chicken parm piece that was got was rather large in size, however as we cut into the dish we noticed that half of the meat was still pink and cold to the touch. We showed our waiter, and instead of treating us with some empathy, we were told that "well its not our fault, but I've been trying to tell the guys in the back to pound the meat before cooking it." We were given another piece of chicken, and it was only slightly better than the first piece, but we ate a few bites and called it an evening. It's too bad, I'd be willing to try this place out for other dishes but I don't know if I'll choose this place again, knowing there are other options nearby. The best part of the evening was the ambiance and the wine, so maybe a happy hour in the future is in order.

Our night unfortunately took a bit of a downturn when it came to the food. The stuffed Arancini for me had a weird texture with the chicken and overall tasted bland. When this was brought to the attention of the staff, I was asked if I wanted it "warmed up" or redone which seemed odd to me as the chicken was literally raw in the center and not just a little under.
