The food is delicious. My favorite is Pasta Weesie although the name has changed over the years. The bread and the salads are great as well. The wait staff have consistently been attentive. I truly enjoy this eatery. The restaurant is clean and environmentally friendly.

I was driving home from Orlando and my husband suggested that we meet at this restaurant in the St. Augustine area. I am glad he did because it was a great decision. The restaurant is located in a small strip shopping center and has indoor, outdoor and bar seating. We were quickly seated when we arrived at 5:30. By the time we left there was a line of about ten people waiting to be seated. Our server, Jacob, quickly came over to take our drink orders. The menu offers appetizers, salads, pizzas and pasta dishes. We opted for the Insalata Simone. It had greens, olives, carrots, onions, cauliflower, and croutons with a while balsamic vinaigrette dressing. My husband and I split the large version and it was just the right size and very tasty. We also got the Toscana pizza . It had sausage, onions, mozzarella and ricotta cheese. It came with six slices of good tasting pizza. For dessert we ordered a regular and a chocolate chip cannoli. Both were beautiful and tasty.

Overall a good experience. We got there early, before the crowd and were seated immediately. Our waiter, Mica, and an associate,Sam, attended to us. They took time to explain the restaurant and shared the specials. Love the craft to table concept. We ordered the caprese salad as an appetizer. It was decent. Unfortunately, it really isn't tomato season here so it wasn't as good as it could be. For dinner, my wife got the mahi special. I got the shrimp diavolo. Both were good but a bit salty for our palate. Portions look small, but really have a lot to them. Before we were done, the restaurant was packed. Fully understand why so many come here.

In the mood for a brick oven pizza? I was and this hit the spot. The Caprese salad was good, the Margherita pizza was good and the bread pudding was delicious. My only complaint, no liquor, just beer and wine. It's a small place and the wait might be long but I think it's worth it.

We have eaten here many times but it is usually just for their pizza. Tonight we decided to celebrate a birthday with a full meal. We were seated immediately on a Tuesday night and found out that locals get 15% off their checks on Tuesdays. Michael was our server and he explained the specials and answered our questions. The food was spectacular. The pizza with the prosciutto and miele was sensational 10/10. The entrees were large portions so there were plenty of leftovers. I thought the short ribs and pappardelle was also a 10/10. My husband loves chicken parm so he thought it was great. I declined rating it because I do not care for chicken parm in general. The white chocolate bread pudding is magnificent. No matter how full you are, it slides down with the smoothest, most delicious flan like texture. It is not like any bread pudding I have ever had anywhere. It is a great hidden gem in a strip mall. The food is really the star and consistently good service.

Dinner at Simone's Wood Fired Craft Kitchen in St. Augustine, Florida was amazing! This place had great ambience, upscale vibe and every table was full! The wine, appetizers and food were excellent! We started with the freshly baked artisan bread basket with oregano and basil dipping oil. The Salsiccia Toscana Pizza (san marzano sauce, sweet and spicy tuscan sausages, balsamic onion confit-fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheese) was absolutely perfect! Service was exceptional! Finding parking was a little challenging but worth it. I would definitely recommend!

Great wood fired pizza. We especially like the margarita pizza. A glass of chianti and a margarita pizza makes a good dinner.

We made an early reservation since we saw they do Happy Hour 4PM to 5:00PM everyday so we had to get in on that. We walked and and were seated at our table. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.

With open lines of communication, they were communicative, ensuring that our needs were met. I was very impressed with how they ensure customer satisfaction. This was my first time here, but I came with friends who had been here several times. The chicken wrap smelled outstanding and looked great. Very robust with chicken! The meatloaf my friend said was phenomenal and interestingly enough they do make it with milk. The Philly cheesesteak looked really great. The chicken pot pie however I will say was definitely not a fan favorite here. I had a different vision of pot pie, which this was not it rather it was the fact on the salty side from me. Not sure what the base was but flavor wise it definitely was not for me. But on a positive note, it was made with white meat chicken. The biscuit on top not a fan favored either. Overall, the five stars goes to the outstanding service we received and the reviews of my friends and their meal. They were very gracious here at the restaurant with taking care of the pot pie since it was not eaten. When I return (and it's a customer service that is bringing me back) I'm gonna try the chicken wrap because it smelled fantastic and looked great

I normally wouldn't go on about hash browns but these were REALLY good! The thing that held the quiche back from being great was that there wasn't a whole lot of crab meat. Lauren had the Breakfast Burrito, added sausage to it and asked for a side of Pico which is something she learned from a previous visit. She's had this burrito before and loves it. She was going on and on about how much she loves it today as well. She actually said "I wish this place was closer to our house because we'd be here way more often" to which I replied "yeah but we have University Diner right by our house, so we're not hurting". Which leads me to a very funny situation: A gentleman showed up at our table like 30 seconds later and said "Hi, I hear you guys go to University Diner? Do you know Andrew? He's my son". We were like "YES! We know Andy!" but the funnier thing was like Lauren had a revelation and said "OH! THAT'S why I love this breakfast burrito so much!" Thinking it was a hidden gem because we had never heard of it, we gave it a try. Sadly, it wasn't all we expected it to be. Once we found it hidden in the back of a small shopping center in World Golf Village, we went inside to an empty restaurant at what should've been a bustling lunchtime crowd. The restaurant had all of two employees working. The cashier/waitress asked us to seat ourselves and she brought us the menus. 5, yes FIVE, different things that we attempted to order were out of stock! How do you run a restaurant when 5 staple items are out of stock.... Hamburger patties, bacon, onion rings, and all fountain drinks including coke & dr. Pepper???? It quickly became obvious why the entire restaurant was empty! After we made alternative choices from the menu and received our meals, the waitress spent the entire time we were in her presence talking in the phone and to someone who seemed to be a regular patron that had come in after us to pick up a to-go order. I heard her say that 'today is my last day because I'm moving.' After hearing that, it made sense as to why she never came back to our table to see if we needed anything. We even had to request she bring our check so that we could pay the bill and leave. She was 'too busy' to notice we were finished & waiting.... The food that we got wasn't horrible.... Too bad the service wasn't that great. We most certainly did NOT receive a good first impression and likely won't give it a second try!

There's a huge full service bar area and a spacious dining room for date night for two and large celebrations on their outside deck overlooking a lake brim full of turtles, fish, gators, birds and all kinds of native Florida wildlife set against views that capture all that's great about living in Northeast Florida. Really amazing! Our server, Susan, was outstanding! She's the one who makes the coleslaw whenever she's on schedule and it's absolutely delicious. I highly recommend. I went on Sunday with my family and we all got the special of about 20 shrimp anyway you like them cooked: fried, steamed or blackened for $16.99 (@ the time I'm writing this review). We all went for the fried shrimp dinner. I chose the fries as my other side and added the unlimited salad bar for just $2.99 more. The salad bar had everything I love about an AYCE salad buffet and it's definitely worth the add. 5-STARS for their classic ranch dressing! And the balsamic dressing, blue cheese dressing and French dressing was excellent, too. They offer a few others, but I didn't try them. I have to have ranch with my fries and I grabbed a bowl of it from the salad bar. I washed it all down with some of their classic Southern sweet tea and I was too full for the Key Lime Pie on special for the day. Next time... After our meal, we went out of the deck to feed the turtles, fish and other wildlife and snap some photos to share. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried. Even though it was in the 90s outside, the deck was actually very pleasant, and watching the turtles and fish in the pond was by far the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi fish sandwich with fries. The fish itself was actually well cooked and nicely seasoned, but the tomato on the sandwich was literally the top core slice of the tomato. A simple glance in the kitchen would have easily prevented that. We also had the shrimp po' boy with fries. The bun had been placed on the grill to toast, but it picked up heavy black char that ended up all over the bread and mixed into the shrimp. I bit into the sandwich and was shocked to crunch down on bitter, burnt residue that even hurt my tooth. It really made me wonder what else had been on that grill. The shrimp itself also had a freezer-burnt taste, and the fries had a similar off flavor. For a seafood restaurant, I didn't expect that level of quality issue with basic ingredients. The server offered to remake the sandwich but with that kind of taste, I did not think a remake would fix the problem. Overall, very disappointing food experience. I'm honestly surprised by the generally good reviews and unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant based on our visit.
