When I bought the vehicle, I was assured that there were no leaks and that the Jeep was in good condition. However, after driving it, I discovered significant issues that were not disclosed to me. While I understand that the vehicle was priced at $2,500, I believe that your company should have been honest about the actual condition of the Jeep. I would have appreciated a more transparent assessment of the vehicle's issues so that I could have made a fully informed decision. (815) 302-1453. Nearly two hours later, I asked for an update and was sent from the front desk to the service garage. Despite several employees sitting at their desks, no one acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. Eventually, I was directed to Jim Carver, the service manager. After waiting while he and another employee walked around for several minutes without any communication, I asked, "Do you guys give updates?" Without even stopping his conversation, he shook his head "no" and told another employee to "handle her." I was then informed that they had lost my keys. Losing keys is a mistake that can happen. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is what made this experience unacceptable. Being dismissed in front of a room full of employees was humiliating. As the service manager, Jim Carver sets the example for his team, and unfortunately it was not one of respect or customer service. After reading other reviews, I noticed similar complaints about interactions with Jim Carver. I sincerely hope this dealership addresses its leadership and customer service because this experience was far below the standard I've come to expect from Toyota.

We live only about five minutes from the Romeoville Toyota dealership, so I called to have the vehicle towed there since his 2026 Toyota bZ doesn't come with a spare tire. The service advisor quickly told me they wouldn't even be able to look at the vehicle until Thursday--three days later--for a simple flat tire. I respectfully expressed my disappointment, but instead of showing any empathy or offering alternatives, she cut me off, said, "Thank you very much," and seemed eager to end the call. She even suggested, in a dismissive tone, that I should just call the Toyota dealership in Naperville instead. So I did. I called Naperville Toyota, where I originally purchased the vehicle, explained the situation, and the difference in customer service was night and day. They were friendly, understanding, arranged to have the vehicle towed there at no cost to me, and had it looked at within just a few hours. I'd much rather drive 30-40 minutes for excellent customer service than spend my money at a dealership that's only five minutes away but treats customers like an inconvenience. It's disappointing because a dealership's service department often determines whether customers return. I hope management is aware of how some employees are interacting with customers, because experiences like this drive loyal customers elsewhere.

At the time of purchase, the Certified Pre-Owned vehicle was missing an accessory part that I was told would be sent to me afterward. That never happened. I also raised a concern at the time of sale about a headlight that was experiencing significant fogging/condensation and was told that the issue would be covered under warranty. When I later attempted to have it addressed, that turned out not to be the case as it had been represented to me. What was most frustrating was the lack of communication and follow-through. I contacted the dealership and left messages on three separate occasions without receiving a response. On my fourth attempt, I finally reached someone who said they would look into both issues. Several weeks later, I still had not received any follow-up or resolution. Based on my experience, D'Arcy Hyundai may be worth considering if you are getting a good deal and driving off the lot with a vehicle that needs absolutely nothing further. However, I would only recommend purchasing here if you have another Hyundai dealership nearby that you are comfortable relying on for future service and warranty matters, and if you are not expecting D'Arcy to follow through on outstanding items once the sale is complete. The purchase itself went smoothly. Unfortunately, the support after the sale did not come close to matching it.

Once the paperwork was signed, the level of customer service changed drastically. It tools 5 months to get a them to assist after showing up at the dealership and basically refusing to leave until I was assured and they took 6 hours The sales manager, Josh, was extremely rude and dismissive when I brought my concerns forward. I felt misled during the sales process, as promises made to close the deal were not honored afterward. It became clear that once the transaction was complete, resolving the issues was no longer a priority. I also interacted with Erica (unsure of her exact role), who presented herself as being helpful and understanding. However, I did not feel that my concerns were genuinely addressed. Instead, I felt my situation was minimized while internal staff supported one another rather than working toward a fair resolution. My advice to anyone purchasing a vehicle here: Do not leave the lot if there are outstanding issues. Ensure everything is documented and completed before you drive off. Once you leave, getting follow-through may become extremely difficult. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision. These were supposed to be brand new tires purchased December 27th and it's March 18th they are balled
