Jamie came out promptly, actually arrived early, did a great job, very fast even did an extra small bathroom diverted replacement that came up just before he arrived. and he ended up charging us less than the original quoted price because he said he was able to find a way to get us a discount, I didn't even ask for that. I was OK with your quote because it was reasonable, but to be offered a special discount on top of it is exactly the way that you're going to retain me as a loyal customer and I will definitely be referring these guys to anyone in my area who needs plumbing help. I am a first time home buyer and the previous family had a "handyman" help around the house. Needless to say there are a lot of areas that need to be worked on by professionals. I used Simpex from whole house repiping. They were amazing from start to finish. Start: The quote was very reasonable and he answered all my questions. I also liked that they provide drywall service. The biggest point in their favor was that the drywall was done day after the repiping (which only took 1 day as promised). And the 'day after' was only because I opted for a city inspection. The Job was done fast, and professionally and everything was on time as promised, at a fair price, except the connections to the washing bowls, were deposited by calcium so when connected back the water still leaked a few drops per hour, the crew suggested I need to change all 3 faucets, it costs about $500, but with 6 O rings, and after cleaning I could fix 6 connections in 2 hours and cost only $4.00. read more

Aside from a 24hr delay in starting the job, Simpex was perfect. We had galvanized pipe replaced with PEX in a small home. The crews were professional, the PEX installation was clean, and the drywall and stucco repair was impeccable. The project manager and office staff were responsive and the price was very reasonable. The repipe was finished the 1st day (about 7 hours), we had working plumbing that same night. The stucco repair was complete on the 2nd day. The repipe included running a new line to a second structure on the property which required removing rows of pavers from a patio. While I'll have to arrange the paver repair separately, they did a fantastic job of removing the pavers without breaking them, and laying out the removed sand on a tarp along the line, making the repair much simpler. They left no mess, inside or out. I was very impressed. We haven't ever had the water pressure we have now, it's great! Nicely done. read more

I was changing my flooring and noticed a bit of water coming up out of the slab. Trevor was the third plumber that came the next day to check it out and BY FAR the best. I am not exaggerating when I say that the first guy just wanted to rip up the slab to take a closer look, the second guy had his hands in his pocket the entire time and said that he needed to run a test that could cost over $1500 with no guarantee that they would find the root of the problem. Trevor came and was extremely thorough. He found the root of the problem and didn't have to destroy my house to do it. He was also very detailed and his work was clean. He explained the issue of my water heater, why the problems were occurring, did a safety check for a gas leak, and remained COVID safe the whole time! We should have hired Simpex right from the start, but we thought there must surely be a cheaper, cleaner, easier way of dealing with our slab leak. There was not. We sank $2,500 into other plumbers who promised us that they would be able to find the "manifold" and isolate the leaking line and then just replacing the one. After 3 days and a dozen holes throughout the house and still no magical "manifold" to be found, we relented and hired Simpex. Fernando and Dante were very understanding and provided a quote that proved to be the final price. Their 7-man crew was able to repipe a 3-story house in about 8 hours, and that includes taking an hour or so to lay down and hang plastic throughout the house in order to minimize the dust and mess. It was still dusty, and everything was still a mess, but much less so than it otherwise would have been. The following day the 4-man patching crew arrived and was able to fix all of the holes and make them ready for paint in about 10 hours, which just amazed me. We must have had 75 holes of various sizes throughout the house, but the crew was able to work quickly and quietly all day in order to get the job done. They also did a wonderful job on the exterior stucco of our house, putting down the same smooth finish as before. Thank you again for the help. read more

We received an estimate from Simpex to work on two issues we were having with odors. We're renters and our landlord offered to mitigate the issue after her handyman was unable to fix it. I was concerned we would have convinced our landlord to reimburse us for the plumbing but if this wasn't a fix, we'd then be stuck with this bad odor. Rarely write reviews but Brian did such a good job I think Simpex deserves to be recommended. Summary below: - Very professional in details, prompt responses and follow-up throughout the process. - Very competitive pricing. I went thru a screening process where I had 5 companies off Yelp quote me on repiping our house. Simpex was one of the most competitive quotes and most thorough in the estimate and walk thru. - Overall it took 3 days from start to finish. As described, first day was repiping the house, the second was for scheduling the inspector (which during COVID was just sending photos for approval) and third day was patching the holes and clean-up. - They did a great job in all phases, left the house clean and the texture/patching work was very well done. The main reason I give Simpex 5 stars is due to the customer service. In this process they replaced my old water heater. I had asked them for specifically for a 40,000 BTU water heater and noticed after they installed it that it was not the spec that we agreed on. When I asked them what was up, I half expected them to tell me the one they installed works just as good, etc. etc. Instead, they apologized for the error and Brian and his colleague came out the very next day and replaced the new water heater with the spec I had requested. No questions asked, owned up to the error and promptly got it replaced. Bottom line is there are ton of companies out there on Yelp that do repiping, I went with Simpex after getting 5 companies come out and quote me. TL;DR: Just have Simpex do the job. I got multiple quotes and they were the best. The water company said I had a leak and I needed to fix it or get fined. They gave me 72 hours to find the leak and repair it. I pout out feelers and Simpex was the first to call. They said they could have someone come out and find the leak. The leak was easy to find as it was in the main line. They checked that the valve feeding the house was closed and the meter still kept spinning. Water Company said they fined me without any notice. Seriously, a major job like this and they want it done in 72 hours of notice. Can't even schedule someone to come out to take a look in 72 hours. Simpex gave me a quote to repair and of course I wanted different quotes for the job so I shopped around and got a few more quotes and not only was Simpex the best, it was all inclusive. What does that mean? All the companies I called said the same thing on what had to be done. The best way is to replace the copper pipe feeding house from the meter. I had some brush that needed to be cleared out so they can dig. One place said I would have to clear the brush myself and their quote was more than double. Simpex said they would take care of removing vegetation and would only remove what was needed. Other places said I had to get rid of the entire brush. I immediately went ahead and signed the work order for them to come out to do the work. It took the entire day for them and I checked on Moses a few times and watched him work. I must say he is very meticulous about what he does. I suppose you have to be or they would have to come out again to fix whatever wasn't done properly. I don't know about their other employees but if they are like Moses I would recommend Simpex to anyone looking to get plumbing done. Simpex Repipe repiped my entire home after we learned we had a foundation leak in our master bathroom. Rather than just re-route around the leaking pipe in the foundation, we decided to re-pipe everything out of the foundation. Brian Udo, the owner of the company looked over our entire house, explained to us how they were going to repipe our home, what would be impacted and then gave us a very reasonable price. The complete repiping involved one day of installing the new PEX pipes and a second day to patch all the holes made in the drywalls, ceilings and stucco. At the end of each day, the crew did a great job of cleaning up everything. They vacuumed the floors so there was little to no dust on the floors. The crew did a great job on our home. Brian and his team did a wonderful job with our repiping...including addressing a few specific needs to our house. He was kind to run the main water line in such a way as to allow us to get a water filtration system installed alongside the repipe. The team was responsive and provided great communication throughout the process. The inspector passed us with flying colors and said everything was "perfect." The only minor issue we ran into was the evening the work was completed, our water pressure was unusually low. I called the office and Brian came out personally to address the issue (turns out the team simply forgot to set the regulator to the correct pressure after finishing).
