Heather even sat there and said this is why we do recommend put this product in kitchens and ours is better. I had 2 room that I asked for one that needed to go with the insurance and one I was paying out if pocket. Never once did I ask for 4 different quotes. I even said to heather we have not got other quotes because i looked at the reviews. I still didn't get a quote for the extra room that was going to be out of pocket.** Unless you are only going to use them and not get other quotes they won't help. They will come out and measure and won't give you a call and tell you that they are unable to help you. Waited 2 days to get the estimate and took time off of work to meet them. We had a great experience with Simply Floors from the initial sales consultation picking out the LVP we used, to getting a detailed price quote, to getting questions answered, and scheduling installation. We had a special request handled easily as a change order to apply Zissner 123 on the old carpet where the tenants' pets urinated the day before the LVP installation. The installation crew showed up early on the scheduled date and were almost done in one day. They came back the next morning to finish the job which had been scheduled for two days.They were extremely courteous and accommodating as we were juggling other remodeling tasks and walking in the home while they worked. I lived in an old department store that had been converted into condominiums. Some of the dimensions and idiosyncrasies of my place are a bit awkward and unconventional. To be fair, the installers did a good job with majority of our flooring. That said, there were a few challenging areas where I thought their effort and commitment were lacking. I'm a reasonable person, and I realize that if a floor isn't perfectly flat or a room has awkward angles, it's going to make the installer's job difficult. I recently moved into a home in Arvada and needed to replace worn out carpeting with wood floors in a great room and adjoining hall. I visited the Simply Floors showroom where I was greeted by Maria, who went out of her way to show me numerous samples that would fit my price point and specific needs. I planned to get a dog soon and Maria pointed out which flooring would hold up best and even let me take home a couple full size samples so that I could color match in my own home. Maria was very professional and accommodating! Mine was not going to be a huge job, but Maria took the time and extra effort to answer all my questions and concerns. We had this company come out and remove carpet to install hard wood floors in master bedroom and 1 set of stairs. The floor in the bedroom looks good, but the trim was glued on and we've had to nail it ourselves. The stairs are a mess! They left the project looking unfinished with gaping holes, exposed nails and scratches on the stringer. We've talked with the owner (Buddy Mitchell) and sent photos of the awful work. They want us to pay to have someone come repair what they should be taking care of. I would not recommend this company at all. read more

Well I decided to see what it would cost to get my floors replaced. I decided to call simply Floors because of the radio ads I hear almost daily. I personally wasn't expecting much but they came out and gave me a price and I thought it was a good price. I decided to go with them and scheduled the work. They showed up when scheduled and I must say they did a hell of a great job. Please forgive me but I think the installers name was Tommy and he did a damn good job not only did he do it job professionally but he let me borrow his quater round cutters to install my quater round. Next was he found that our basement entry was not level on the concrete pad so he requested that they bring out their concrete crew to address the issue. They came out and leveled the floor to allow the rest of the LVT to be installed. After this they returned to finish the flooring. Next was the carpet crew Mario came out and absolutely destroyed it. He did not mess around got to work and did a damn good job. I'm not one to leave a public review but after saving my money for the last year and decided to let a company replace the flooring in our home I'm extremely happy with Simply Floors and would use them again without question. Not only did they do a great job but they didn't mess around showed up when scheduled and really had great installers. We used a builder tile and carpet showroom to pick the tile and carpet in our house when it was built. She said they do that very thing. Heard about Simply Floors from Tom Martino and the Troubleshooter Show and reached out for a competitive bid. Not only was the bid competitive in price, but extremely reasonable. It wasn't necessarily the "cheapest", but as I mentioned competitive in comparison to the other gathered bids. Being assured that they are a family operated business and stand behind their work is what they sold me. Kristin Mayo did an in home consultation and was very knowledgeable. She met all of my requests and answered all of my questions. She respected my wishes and provided options which were within my budget and provided ways that I could cut down the cost of the contract. Such as doing some of the work myself, ie tear out, moving furniture, and installing baseboards myself. In addition to this she was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in helping with corresponding and working with Synchrony Bank (line of credit for the work). Though the situation was unique and slightly difficult, Simply Floors did a lot of leg work to see things through. The day of the job, I was provided a window as to when they would arrive, and the worker arrived exactly at 8am and ready. Despite the snowy weather and terrible road conditions, he was on time and worked for about 7 hours to get the floors installed. Overall the experience was easy and pleasant. Buddy came to my home and conveniently brought samples that matched what we described we wanted on the phone. He had his expert installers lay all the carpet in our upstairs and the laminate flooring in our basement right on schedule. One trick we used was to install the same carpet color on the stairs but a lower nap material so it'll wear better but matches the rest of the house. Then Covid-19 hit and we were on hold. Presley called twice to see how we were doing and where we were in our remodel. She wasn't pushy or high pressure. I told her we were on hold and she understood. When we were finally ready, I contacted Presley and she was wonderful to work with. Came to our home with quite a few samples to chose from. We made a decision and everything was like clockwork from that point. The installers were a wonderful team of a father and 2 sons. Very hardworking men who did an amazing job. Izzy was amazing to work with after the install when I had one minor issue that was resolved in a day and took 2 minutes. Then they came out and installed my transition pieces for me. His installers were all very nice. We hired Simply Floors to replace the carpet on all 3 sections of stairs with new carpet and our upstairs carpet with luxury vinyl flooring. Kristin came out for an initial consultation and gave us some good suggestions, so we decided to go with them. I had been debating replacing the floors myself since I had heard it's not that difficult a job...but we decided to go with the professionals so they could get it done quicker and with a more professional finish. They told me we needed to do quarter-round molding between our existing baseboard moldings and the new floor, and Kristin suggested I could handle that myself to save a few bucks. In general the carpet and the floor looked fine but there were several issues. 1) In the master shower the planks were well-lined up with the edge of the tub but not with the wall tiles that extended out from the tub. There was a big gap. I did not think this was an appropriate place for quarter-round molding since there were no baseboards there. Tom the installer agreed to fix that issue and it does look better now where I can fill the remaining small gap with some caulk. He was supposed to show up at 8AM both the day he came to look at my issues and the day he came to actually fix this one. Both days he arrived closer to 9...though to his credit at least the first time he let me know he was running late. 2) Against the guest bathroom tub the planks were uneven and too far away from the tub. Again, in my opinion the edge of a bathtub is not an appropriate spot for quarter round to cover up the uneven planks...but Tom disagreed and said he was told quarter-round all the way around and assumed it would be against the bathtub too...they would not fix that section so I have to hope the quarter-round doesn't look too out of place there (or I need to get used to uneven planks against the tub!) 3) When Kristin came over for our initial consultation I had pointed out a few spots in the guest bedroom and hallway where there was a bit of a "thud" sound. There were also several squeaks as you walked around the hallway. She told me that they would take care of them but since they couldn't tell what the problem was ahead of time there might be an extra hourly charge. They did not address any of these issues during the installation. When I showed them to Tom afterwards he said that was an issue with my joists and we would need to hire a framing company to fix it. Again, they refused to do anything about it. On this one, I really didn't believe him and decided to pull up some of the flooring in the hallway myself after it became obvious that Simply Floors wasn't going to help. Sure enough I was able to fix all the thuds and squeeks with a half dozen well-placed screws in the subfloor. If I didn't have to remove and then reinstall that section of floor the whole thing would have taken a half hour. I am very disappointed the issue was not addressed by Simply Floors. In retrospect it is clear that I would have done a better job and paid more attention to detail if I had done the job myself and paid less then half the cost just for the materials. read more

I had heard about Simply Floors by listening to the Tom Martino show. When we needed new carpet, I called. Amy Farnum came out to our house to look at the space and show me samples. She was great, very easy to work with. We were able to get better carpet and padding for $700.00 less than Carpet Exchange. Zefe the installer came on time and worked really hard. We had some squeaking and he took care of that too. He did a great job and the carpet looks really good.
