Yum!! Such delicious food. They really have mastered the art of producing a wonderful product. Went here during Happy Hour and had a massive $5 cheeseburger. We also had The Aegean wrap that had shrimp. The burger was large and juicy, the fries were crispy and seasoned very well, and The Aegean was full of tons of complimentary flavors. This place was packed when we were here, but people seemed to clear out after not too long, so finding a table wasn't a problem. I would love to come back here during not Happy Hour so I could really comb through the menu and explore different things. Highly recommend. Will be back. Simply Greek has the best gyros in town. This shop is tucked away just off Euclid and has both dine-in and takeout options. There is a lot just behind the building that has free 30 minute parking which is convenient for takeout options. Their outdoor seating is a great place to people watch on a fall day and the owner/employees make this restaurant a true gem. Simply Greek actually has a fairly extensive menu, but I can't seem to order anything other than a gyro here- they're just too good to pass up! My advice would be to order the Titan gyro. It's HUGE- like the size of a newborn baby huge (and it weighs just as much). We make it a point to get leftovers because the gyro meat makes the best omelettes for a hearty breakfast the next morning (and the morning after that). This place is fantastic! read more

This locally-owned spot is fantastic for getting your Greek food fix. They've done a great job during Covid, and they are always friendly and smiling when you dine in or pick up. Wow! All I can say is WOW! First off I have been listening to radio ads for about three years. I thought the spot was in Bainbridge but I was happy to stumble upon it in Solon. The food is/was delicious. Service? Fantastic. I can't tell you of a time in recent memory where I have been greeted warmer, friendlier or felt more inviting. I can't say enough about Nick and his people. Let's be clear the food speaks for itself. But the customer service was fantastic. I bought a gyro and a lamb chop dinner. My teenagers 17 and 20, devoured the lamb chops and all the fixings and my oldest daughter helped herself to a good portion of the gyro that was meant for me and wife. So guess where I'm headed in about twenty minutes? You guessed it Simply Greek. My wife talked about the gyro all night and reminded me on my way out to work what she wanted for dinner. To the conspiracy theorist, bigots and others who would try to destroy this man's reputation or business shame on you. I could go on and on but I'll leave you with this good food good people. The regular Gyro was big enough for two meals and very good! The Calamari was really good too...I was a little surprised that this dish looked totally different from all others. Had the classic gyro (lamb or beef I'm guessing) and their angus burger with swiss cheese. Didn't expect to have a great burger at a greek place but this is the best burger I've had in Cleveland hands down. Cooked perfectly, good consistency and a nice, not overwhelming sauce to complement it. And it was only around 6-7 dollars at happy hour. The gyro was very good too. I would recommend not adding the feta unless you really like feta and are really hungry. The meat is seasoned excellently and is moist and tender. It's a bit indulgent, so I wouldn't eat there regularly but it's definitely my new favorite place in uptown. read more

They do a few different things that I would rather have you experience by going in there. I can't express how much I enjoyed picking up my order. I ordered a Chicken Souvlaki and the Classic Gyros and their fries. I liked the Gyros better. The Souvlaki has a little to much black pepper for my taste. You could say it has lots a flavor. The Gyros meat was mild and tasty. I would prefer next time to have less meat and more Tzatziki sauce, tomato/onion and lettuce. Hand cut fries (wow so many) Not salty and seasoned. Wow! What a difference it makes having an owner on site ensuring you have a great experience! We stopped in based upon reviews. So very glad we did! This isn't a "fancy sit-down" place. It's an "order at the counter & they bring your food shortly" place, and a very good one. Our order was taken by the owner himself, who explained many of the dishes are his mother's recipes. He had samples of the baklava right there, which was a great sales tactic, because we added some to our order! My husband got a burger and I got Souvlaki, and we shared an order of Saganaki accompanied by fresh lemon wedges, Kalamata olives, and feta. It isn't served flaming at the table, but was very delicious nonetheless. The food is beautifully presented, fresh, & delicious. They are generous with the fillings of the Souvlaki, which was overflowing with chicken, feta and very delicious house made Tzatziki. The pitas were pillowy and fresh. We enjoyed every bite. The owner came over & chatted with us after we finished, just to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The gyro's here are outstanding! They "medium" size gyro is huge!! You can't go wrong with Simply Greek. It is located in University Circle, and parking can be a pain but it's worth the stop. They plenty of items on the menu and they serve alcohol as well. They have outside seating for the nice weather. read more
