The owner is almost always behind the counter and you are greeted in a familiar, he knows you kind of vibe. They were open during the lockdown and I really respect how he cared about his employees (because that matters just as much as the food). When people are happy to work, the food is prepared with love and you can taste it. Now to food...try the Aegean...thank me later. I also pick up their Junior cheeseburger for my children and the baklava is the owners' grandma's recipe. It's the truth!

Cheddar cheese burger with grilled marinated onions and mushrooms

We drove about 15 minutes to get here because of the reviews we read on Yelp. We were not disappointed in the quality of food, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the service from the owner (Pete) and his son (Nick). Based on Pete's recommendation, we ordered a cheddar cheeseburger with grilled marinated onions and grilled mushrooms. Additionally, we ordered a classic gyro and beer battered onion rings. All of the food was excellent. The meat on the gyro was not the least bit greasy like some Greek restaurants, and the vegetables were so fresh and tasty. The gyro was one of the largest gyro sandwiches I've ever had, with so much meat and vegetables. My wife said the burger was absolutely delicious as well. The onion rings were very good and not greasy. Pete recommended his homemade barbecue sauce for the onion rings. I had never tried barbecue sauce with onion rings before, but his sauce was so good that you could dip shoe leather in it and think it tasted wonderful. We travel around the country full time, and we have already saved this restaurant in our "must visit list" when we return to this area of Ohio. Even if you are not a fan of Greek food, the hamburger was top-notch and worth coming there just for that. Equally as important as the great food was how you are treated by Pete and Nick. Within minutes of arriving, I felt like we were seeing an old friend we had not seen in many months. We left feeling like we had made two new friends who happened to make great tasting food. We will most definitely be back and highly recommend trying them out.

This business was one that refused to wear masks for their customers during the pandemic so I refuse to ever go back.

Delicious!! One of my favorite spots for a gyro! If I'm even close to the area I'll make the trip to grab lunch or dinner.

Zina's Greek Street Food is my favorite local Greek cuisine. I picked up spontaneous lunch here…read moretoday. This restaurant is like a year round Greek festival with considerably tastier food. It's really SO GOOD! Forget any other gyro you had, this is THE gyro. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe, clean and bright. There's a very IG worthy Greek mural inside. There are a few very comfortable tables to dine in inside and outside. Most guests take their meals to go (you can also pre-order for pick-up via Uber Eats). This eatery is always quiet and peaceful. Employees are always super friendly and attentive. Food is always prepared super quickly, took maybe 5 minutes this time. You can tell that there's a very high level of commitment to quality and good ingredients here. I ordered Classic Lamb Street Gyro (comes with fries), Lemon Rice Pilaf, and Zoe's Rice Pudding. Lamb Street Gyro was incredible as always. The lamb was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed into a soft, slightly chewy homemade pita. What really stands out to me every time is the balance -- the meat, the fresh tomato and onion, plus tzatziki on the side. They really get gyros right every single time! Accompanying fries were perfectly seasoned and fried. I immediately ate all of them. You can order fries on your gyro or separately. I prefer to munch on them separately but on the gyro also often hits the spot. Rice pilaf was flavorful but unfortunately I got the feeling it wasn't fully cooked through. That didn't stop be from eating all of it. I devoured my Zoe's Rice Pudding. It's perfectly creamy and has such a good amount of cinnamon. I wish that I would have paired it with coffee but it was my first time experiencing it, and I couldn't stop eating it. I'm telling you, try the pudding. I was very happy with my meal. Also, I've tried other meals at this place in the past including Chicken Street Gyro, and Baklava. One of the guests at the restaurant was very talkative and mentioned that they make really good burgers (daily special). If you're feeling adventurous, you can always build your own bowl or build your own platter. Parking is a bit complex. Enter the parking lot from the right of the restaurant to park close otherwise you'll see Do Not Enter signs preventing you from entry. If you love Mediterranean food or just want something fast, fresh, and a little different from the usual, Zina's is absolutely worth a stop. I'm already planning to go back and trying baklava cheesecake. If you love Zina's, check out other establishments by the same owner - Chicken Ranch next door and Market on Lee.

The build-your-own bowl was pretty expensive at $19 with lamb meat, luckily the size was okay. Of course it would have been cheaper had I gone in-store. Feta cheese and kalamata olives were extra, but I had those at home, so I didn't add them. There was a good amount of lamb meat in the bowl and the pita was huge. I got the tzatziki yogurt sauce, as well as the Zina vinaigrette. The vinaigrette is thicker than one would expect, and garlicky, but I enjoyed it. The lamb wasn't especially seasoned, but it was good. Overall solid lunch choice, and I have leftovers for dinner.

Got the salad bowl both times with hummus and basically loaded it up with everything, and it just works no matter what combo you put together. Tried the chicken on one visit and the brisket on the other, both were fabulous. Fair warning though, the brisket is subject to availability, so don't count on it being there every time. Do yourself a favor and order the fries at least once even if you're trying to be good. They complement the bowl perfectly, and throwing a few fries right into the salad is genuinely a great move. Also have to mention the beer selection. Good local options and reasonably priced, which is a nice touch alongside the food. This place earns the trip back any time I'm in the area.

The hummus is also a favorite. I love a salad bowl with greens, hummus, falafel, special sauce, pickled cabbage + extra carrots. Don't sleep on the tahini chocolate chip cookies, either. Knew it was the same place as soon as we saw it. Walked in to a warm welcome. Sat in the back room this time. Front room was filled. Christina helped us. She was very informative and helped us decide what we wanted. Got 2 cups of the lemon chicken soup. I can't pronounce the Greek name so it's the lemon chicken soup. Outstanding lots of chicken, rice and carrots. Then we got the fancy Greek salad. It comes on a good size plate and covers the plate. The Greek dressing is homemade and delicious. Chunks of feta in it. Honestly could only eat half. The potato salad on it was good. All the ingredients fresh. Can't go wrong. Christina told us about the other menu items too. Everything is homemade and made with love. It's a family business with kids and relatives involved. We did get a baklava for dessert to split cuz well we had too. Prices are good. Better than on-line. Roomier than it looks. Greek decor with the pics. Great place! Eat here! Homemade Greek food by a Greek family! What else can you ask for! Delicious! Just wish I lived closer. We will be back when in the area again!

We walked in and were greeted right away and told we could pick a seat anywhere in the store. We decided to sit in the back of the restaurant where we were greeted by Sam. Sam did a great job checking in on us and we got to meet the owner George who came to chat us about how our experience was and if everything was to our satisfaction.
