Always get the Greek salad with chicken. It's my favorite salad to get when I'm out working. Service is quick and fresh.

Had a gyro and fries. Gyro meat feels processed, fries were real potatoes and not the blanched stuff which I like. One thing I don't like is that they make eat in customers pay and give tip option before rendering service. They also don't have a restroom for customers to wash their hands. Simply greek. Is simply fantastic. This place is the definition of a hole in the wall diamond. The restaurant probably doesn't have more than 10 seats in it but it's all about the food. Incredibly friendly staff, offered up a few samples as we looked at the menu and waited for food that just made us more excited with our choice for lunch. The gyro is very classic and large but you can tell how fresh the ingredients are and the homemade nature of the dishes. Amazing food. I stumbled upon the place when I was visiting the MOCA and I've tried to make it back every time I'm home. The meat was not the slightest bit dry and the grilled octopus was perfectly cooked. Possibly the best grilled octopus I've had. Portion sizes are very generous. I dragged my entire family there and most of them couldn't finish. Only had a sample of the baklava, but it tasted delicious and wasn't overly sweet. Overall its a fine stop. Gets real busy around 6-8 pm and they constantly run out of certain food like pulled pork and the like. Also they didn't mask up during COVID so if thats a concern, I'd avoid but also the service is present unlike half the places in Solon these days with more commercial names (i.e Wendys, Burger King, Chipolte, etc). read more

First, the owner is very friendly and gave us a baklava sample, which was excellent. I had the gyro, which was very tasty and huge. The fries were crispy, just the way I like them. My wife had the chicken souvlaki platter. Unfortunately, although a huge portion, the seasoning was overwhelming and bitter. I think it was the amount of thyme they used. Also, the rice was undercooked in the center (crunchy) but soggy and sticky outside. The place is small but cozy but the blaring fox news was a bit much and killed the vibe. My husband and I stopped in for a take out fish dinner consisting of Haddock, French fries ,freshly made tartar sauce and coleslaw. The fish was good not greasy. It was fist time I have had fresh tartar it was very good. We had to have dessert so we ordered baklava. The baklava was not just good it was as my husband put it " Amazing." This place is super cozy and very down to earth for Greek food. I thought the signs in there were funny- basically don't be a douche or no service. I don't normally like gyro but I opted for one and it was huuuge. I got the titan gyro and definitely couldn't finish it. A perfect meal! - The Spartan Gyro - delicious, velvety gyro meat with fresh vegetables and tzaziki sauce. As the menu states, this sandwich is HUGE! My husband, who has a rapacious appetite, could only get through half of it. We took the other half home and turned it into two omelettes for breakfast! - A side of french fries that were top-notch: crispy, piping hot, salty, and not too greasy! - BAKLAVA: some of the best I've ever had! First time going here, and we'll definitely be back the next time a hankering for a gyro hits! We ordered one classic gyro ($9), one pork gyro ($10), and order of onion rings ($6), and a small extra side of tzatziki sauce ($1). Food did not take too long to be prepared, maybe five minutes or so, and we took it to go. The classic gyro was my favorite, meat was delicious! The pork gyro was tasty too, but my husband and I agreed that we would probably just get two classic gyros next time. Onion rings were good, a bit on the salty side though and not quite as crisp as I'd like, so we'd probably skip those and maybe try fries next time. The classic gyro especially had tons of meat on it too, made the price fair. Good thing we didn't go for the larger size because I couldn't even finish the regular size!
