Like many people, I spend the majority of my time at home in my kitchen. I scheduled a consult with Thomas and his team and was struck by their eye for design and ability to keep the things we had that worked well and enhance them by adding just the right colors to make the space more current and to add brightness. I did not feel oversold and they took the time to come out several times to help us work through color decisions. When the crew came to do the work I was awestruck with their diligence, attention to detail, focus on preparation, and cleanliness. They minimized disruption to our family, and executed the project perfectly. Thomas came by frequently to be sure the project was on track. Some of the painters we looked at did not do the quality job we wanted (visible brush strokes etc.) so we contacted Thomas Mach for a consultation. He came and shared his vision for how our kitchen could look and we decided right then to go ahead on the project. His team was so professional, and completely protected the rest of the house from the painting. Everything was sprayed on the spot using Farrow and Ball Paint which carries a 6 year warranty. They also helped us decide on new countertops and back splash. They managed the entire project start to finish and we had a new kitchen in just over a week. Brought in a paint chip to see if they could match…read more Since I had peeled the chip there was some residual (and different color on both sides)I was clear which color I wanted. When I got home I realized they had mixed the other color mistakenly. I get it. Mistakes happen. I went back the same day, brought another chip and showed the same person that had mixed the original batch what had happened. They acknowledged the error and mixed a new batch but insisted that I had to pay full price for the new quart. Since he wasn't the manager he wasn't authorized to give me "free" paint.

When that nasty Christmas week windstorm dropped a whole load of tree debris in our backyard, some of it struck the back of the house, and cut holes in a window screen and the slider screen. So we threw the damaged goods into the car and drove them over to Matt at Welden Hardware. Within just a few days, he called us and said the screens were ready to be picked up. They look great and the price was very fair; in fact the job cost just a few bucks under what our homeowner's insurance company allowed on their estimate. Welden is really quite a cool store. We spent some time wandering around when we dropped off the screens and saw a big variety of products -some of which you'd expect to see in a hardware store (electrical, tools, paint, garden equipment) and some surprises, like snowblowers, kitchen supplies, and gloves.
