I got lucky af when I walked in to Daisy Nail and finally discovered a great salon with great nail techs. No appointment, I just walked in and asked for a removal followed by a fresh set. They sat me down right away and went to work. They were gentle and kind, taking special care around the minor injury on my pinky finger. Mai started my set and then sent me over to Danny to finish up. They both were fast, efficient, and I'm in love with the results. Ask about getting nail art! They've got some really fun designs :) All in all, I loved my experience and am stoked to have a new place I can trust to take care of me. I mean look at these badass nails!!

He rushed through my nails, forgot to do my Chrome nails and my gems and still charged me $85 at the end. Nails are all uneven, lumpy, not completely painted and super thick. My friend got simple short green nail (said it would be $55), they're uneven as you can see in the pictures. There's residue under all nails and instead of cleaning up the sides of the nail they just shove the extra polish under the nail. At the end, we ended up paying $160 and they wouldn't work with us. I explained he did not give me my Chrome nails and my gems as asked, and they only gave me $10 back. They said to come back later to "fix" it but we tried two out of the four people there and they couldn't do their job.. I don't know who's supposed to fix it. All I know is it the guy who di my nails wasn't john, or danny, it was another older Asian man. My friend got Mai :/

I…read moretook a long break from them because I found a home based nail girl to do my nails, but she's recently gone on maternity leave. So I came to Kikais, an old reliable friend. I must say I'm genuinely so disappointed in how awful their quality of service has gotten. I got my nails manicured by the owner. I'm not sure her name, but I know her face. Very beautiful tiny woman. I asked for a simple French tip manicure. They looked wonderful, from afar. I was weary because she was rushing through my service. My nails would cure for seconds before she had me pulling my hand out to continue. The tips looked fine but later upon reflection, they were uneven and a little lopsided. This is all something I would be ok with and I'd simply let go and move on, not really nitpicking the quality BUT, like the next week they started peeling and lifting and chipping. It's been maybe 2-3 weeks at this point and I have like a total of 3 frenchies and a half left on my hands! Girls, if you can, just go home based. Or any other salon. My manicures have lasted months and grow out when I go to my home based girl. I once loved Kikais but yeah their quality is terrible now, I don't recommend it if you want a pretty manicure to last.

I am so lucky that she was my person. Not only is she detailed in what she does, she takes pride in her work. She is chill and made me feel chill. She takes her time and I felt pampered. When she was doing my fingernails she didn't use water for soaking. She used a variety of instruments to remove cuticles. She quietly sang the songs on the shop's Playlist. She has a good voice. That made me feel extra calm and welcomed. 3. The tough part of the visit was getting to the shop. The Nail Buzz opens before the container shop mall opens. There are 2 security doors that were locked. I was told to enter through the gate by the giant metal preying mantis. The long long gate slides open. We would not have figured it out had we not seen Tatie before hand. She introduced herself at the sliding gate and showed us the way. We rode the elevator to the shop. It was air conditioned. Yay! 4. We walked to the shop from the Golden Nugget. May I suggest not wearing any fancy jewelery? The neighborhood looks a little rough. 5. I am not spelling her name perfectly. Her name is Ta Te.. .. .. ? Disappointing Experience at The Nail Bus - Downtown Container Park…read more I stopped by The Nail Bus at the Downtown Container Park in Las Vegas at approximately 2:50 PM. Their posted hours clearly showed that they were open until 7:00 PM, so I asked if I could get a pedicure and a full set. I was told they would not have time to do my services. What made this especially frustrating was that there was no one waiting. There was one employee working on one client, and apparently only one employee running the entire shop. If a business advertises that it is open until 7 PM, I wouldn't expect to be turned away more than four hours before closing, especially with no customers waiting. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend calling ahead before making the trip. Better yet, you may want to skip it altogether and find another nail salon that is adequately staffed and able to accommodate customers during its posted business hours. Unfortunately, I can't review the quality of their nail services because I wasn't given the opportunity to receive any.

There have been multiple times where Mary messed up my nails and then blamed me for them breaking, saying I waited too long and should come every two weeks. She knows I always get a gel pedicure, and when the powder grows out, she has to rebuild it--but every time she gives me attitude about it, like I'm not going to pay for the service. My toes are very inconsistent. One foot will have short nails and the other will look bigger because of the powder, and it ends up looking uneven and unfinished. It feels like there isn't enough attention to detail. On top of that, every service feels like it's done with an attitude, which makes the experience uncomfortable instead of relaxing. I've also noticed staff going straight to their phones after finishing with clients, and it feels unprofessional. Hearing staff talk about clients in another language is also uncomfortable. I've seen other customers unhappy and the response is usually defensive instead of helpful. The last time I went, Mary argued with me about my uneven nails and even told me not to come back. Then when I went to pay, it felt like she assumed I wasn't going to pay--but I still paid $65 for uneven and unfinished work. Overall, the service and quality have gone down, and it doesn't feel worth the money anymore. I hope management sees this and makes changes, because I would consider coming back if things improve.
