Turns out, the problem wasn't me--it was poor prep and product quality at the other place. Cheyenne is incredible. She helped me transition from growing out my nails with Gel-X to a hard gel overlay, and her prep work is immaculate. She takes her time with a thorough dry manicure before doing any enhancements, which makes a huge difference. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 (I'm 42 now), and Cheyenne is the best tech I've ever had. Her French work is flawless, and on top of being insanely talented, she's also a genuinely lovely person. I had also asked if they could wait to start my daughter's toes until I finished my nails so I could sit with her, but the technician insisted "it's fine, I got it" and started anyway.
