    Very fresh Pineapple Water Ice
    Alexis D.

It was our first time trying this food stand that was in the Downtown Fremont area. The food was exceptional! We tried 2 meals and the water ice. Everything was great! The water ice was the best I ever had. We don't know what their hours are but we will try to find their stand again.

I ordered the "Da combo" beef and sausage sandwich with mild peppers and cheese. It was a pretty good sandwich. Bread is soft, sausage had a good bite to it and the peppers added a nice crunch with a little salt taste. The lady that takes the order is super friendly and food comes out in a reasonable time. I'm sure I'll be back to try other menu items.

They have three different styles which include ah boong (served in taiyaki), upside down (taiyaki in a cup), or just a cup. The taiyaki also has a variety of fillings to choose from. And variety toppings can be added without extra charge. Of note, this place is cashless! I just wanted a cup so I did not order any additional taiyaki. I got ube soft serve with an addition of biscoff crumble. The staff prepares your order really quickly within a couple minutes, even during busy times. You can take your order to go and leave, but they also have some seating in the shop if you want to stick around to enjoy your cold treat. It's styled similar to high school bleachers where the seats are made of wood. Plenty of lighting to take pictures, along with a decorative wall if you're into that! Fairly kid friendly place too, where they can sit and enjoy their soft serve; I would not recommend having them run freely as there's not much room especially during busy hours.

You can order 2 or 5. We got the 2 as a nice, little treat after lunch. They had a new Dubai Chocolate filling so we decided to try it. The pastry was hot and chewy. The filling was super chocolate and delicious. I appreciated that the filling was not super runny or messy. This is a great little treat after a meal or would be great on a hot day.

If we have paleta bars, they never have a taro flavor. Service is going to depend on the people in front of you. The ones in front of us asked a lot of questions so it took a bit longer to get our order going. I knew what I wanted so it went by quite quick. The staff is friendly and very careful with your order. If I'm in Vegas again, this will be a stop on my list. The horchata was really good, I would get that next time. I did thoroughly enjoy my coffee with white chocolate and crushed oreos! It's a full bar so it's a lot. You come in and the paleta bar is right there on the left and bar/stool seating style on the right side. Service - They're friendly! They let you try samples and can make recommendations. Cost - I don't remember but I think we got about 5 bars and that was around $50 - $60. Parking - It's in a plaza but it was SO BUSY when we went. So there are cars looking for parking everywhere. Location - Spring Mountain Road, not that far from the strip. I want to try their horchata next time!

My standard order has always been the hot fudge sundae but they offer so many other options. If you want a frozen pint they have those too. Service is always quick and efficient. On our visit, there were several sketchy people in the lot and some going to the adjoining liquor store. While most of the customers were nice family looking people, a few of them were on the sketchier side too. If this were the only issue, we would go back, but there were other issues as well. However, for the positives, parking was limited, but sufficient. Business was good and there was both a line and numerous people waiting for their food. The order area is well lit at night. Most of all, the servers are very friendly, helpful, and patient. Unfortunately, the rest of the downside are the most important things. The serving cup size is good, but the ratio of custard to hot fudge/toppings was way off. Most places do not give enough fudge/chocolate sauce/toppings, but here the ratio was half and half. This MIGHT have been ok if the fudge and toppings were layered as at other places that do not skimp on toppings, but here the fudge/toppings were the top half of the cup and the custard at the bottom. This made it difficult to get the custard and to get a proper ratio of custard to topping. Kind of like rationing your meat and rice or potatoes so you have some for each bite--you could not do this with the custard and toppings here. The custard quality seemed like it might be ok, but it was hard to tell due to the ratio and serving structure. Overall, Nielson's custard has the more standard concretes with mix ins and a larger portion size than Luv-it. Freddy's frozen custard, although not as good as Nielson's was still also better than Luv-it. If Luv-it could either layer its toppings and you have concrete custard consistency, then it could be rated higher. As is, you are better off driving the distance to Nielson's or just going to Freddys. Still, if you must go to Luv-it, just be aware of your surroundings and you will still get an ok dessert.

The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor without being overly bitter, and you could tell it was made with quality ingredients. I ordered a float and loved that they let you choose the ice cream flavor. The ube ice cream was a standout--it wasn't overly sweet and had a nice starchy, creamy texture that paired well with the matcha. Another plus was the pricing. Compared to many specialty matcha shops, the drinks felt reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. Overall, a great spot for matcha lovers and anyone looking for a refreshing treat while in Vegas. I'd definitely come back and try more of the menu.

Before that time and throughout our visit here, the line got longer and longer, and eventually all the seating inside was filled up. It was already a bright day yet the inside is lit about as bright to match the daylight hues. That and also the heat outside made me and my friends come here to grab another matcha as we already had a nearby place just 10 minutes ago! For this part of our matcha run, I got their large matcha latte float with a matcha and strawberry ice cream mix, while my foodie friend got the same float as well only with ube soft serve and a medium-size instead. Matcha is strong and ceremonial with grassy tones that were slightly dulled by the sweetness of the drink; the matcha ice cream had that same ceremonial hit as the latte but the strawberry ice cream didn't pair with those earthy tones very well since it was a different kind of sweet. I also found my friend's ube ice cream the better addition to the matcha latte than my matcha-strawberry mix. I still enjoyed what I had, and the float by itself still hit well. They have a ton of other drinks and even a banana matcha latte I would give a try in another visit to this location in the future!

I got the sizzling brownie It comes out on a hot iron plate, and right before it hits your table, they pour warm chocolate sauce over it so it sizzles and bubbles. Under all that is a warm fudgy brownie, usually topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The hot-and-cold combo is the whole point: the brownie is soft and rich, while the ice cream slowly melts into it, mixing with the chocolate sauce. I also tried the honey toast. The honey toast is a fun dessert that's as good as it looks. Thick, buttery toasted bread is crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, drizzled with sweet honey and topped with a scoop of ice cream. As the ice cream melts into the warm toast, every bite has a perfect mix of crunchy, fluffy, and creamy textures. It's sweet without being overwhelming and great for sharing.
