I was previously employed at Sinfulicious Body Care. This message was formulated after contacting previous employees and coworkers of mine. They all have a story to tell about this place. The bottom line is the bosses are a huge issue at this establishment. The owners of this company have no idea what they're doing. They're disrespectful, selfish, control freaks, who don't care about their customers let alone their own employees. They're disgustingly childish, unprofessional, and extremely disorganized. The owner is illiterate, and communicates with her staff in a totally unprofessional sense, through text, every, single, day. They're extremely delusional people, insisting that we "manifest" good sales days, for their own profit. The sales goals for the stores do nothing but aggravate and stress out the employees, they're absolutely outrageous numbers to beat for a store that only gets 5 customers a day. They also cut pay based on sales rates. If your sales are the lowest of the day, it's possible they'll cut your hours or worse. The boss assigned her husband the role of keeping us in "check," by calling the store up to 15 times a day. Apparently to make sure we're "lotioning,"(A process in which we sample our product on the street in order to bring possible buyers in.) However, his bothersome communication with the staff distracts workers from actually sampling to customers. It impedes work. Especially when he calls with no intent on helping us in any way. The manager here, Melinda, was the only person in power at this establishment that had a brain, however, she has tendencies to side with the owners in situations that are blatantly the fault of those in charge. She sides with them I'm assuming because the owner is her sister. It was painful to watch some of our best workers be manipulated and taken advantage of by the company owner, April. Her treatment of her own staff was borderline abusive (verbal, of course, because the company owners aren't even local). We had several instances of customers having issues with orders, or ordering products we simply didn't have because April either refused to order it out of spite for the product or because she felt she didn't have the resources. This left the sales associates scrambling to make excuses for our boss's negligence. There is plenty, and I mean plenty more to tell, but this is all I'm formulating at this time. It's a real shame because the work is extremely fun. The store itself is a treat when you're actually working, and working with my staff was a pleasure, but because of April, being employed at Sinfulicious was a nightmare. You can shop here if you want, but remember these are the kinds of individuals that profit off of you if you do. read more
