The young lady who was working on the day we went in was absolutely fabulous. She seemed interested in helping us and she didn't appear to just be going through the motions. She understood her products and explained them in detail. They have a ton of oils and scents so you can build your own products. Super fun! I ended up purchasing some lotion, which I love. I have always loved the scent "Rock Star" by Lush. They sadly discontinued it. The gal helping us helped me recreate it and I am so happy. The store was clean and meticulous. Covid precautions were taken and I was just impressed by the experience as well as the products. One star off for the price. I think I paid 21 for a small bottle of lotion. It smells fantastic but it is not any better than what I have purchased other places for much less. Great little shop! We walked by on Palm Canyon and they handed out a little hand lotion sample. We took it and smothered it on our hands. Wow. Great stuff. On the way back we went in and bought some. I haven't had a hand lotion just soften up my hands so well and wasn't greasy at all. It was also awesome to be able to pick your own scents or combo of (dozens of Scents to choose from), color , add in glitter or not. Unfortunately, I visited the Palm Springs store on 05/01/2023 to buy face cream. The employee showed me how to use the cream and also show me an apparatus that supposedly help with wrinkles. While I was there he charge my credit card $ 655 for massages and 1990 for the apparatus that works on wrinkles. When I went home and saw the charges on my credit card, I came back to the store and told him I never took the 1990 wrinkle apparatus. He told me to take it or I'll lose the money because the company will not reimburse the money, even though the apparatus was in the store. Getting there: Located right off the main strip near the shopping mall. There is parking behind the mall and street parking occasionally. Experience: My mom and I were shopping and just happened to walk by when they were giving out samples of skincare. We were immediately impressed with how soft our skin felt. So we went in and to our surprise they allow you to create your own body scrub lotion and oils; and everything is all natural. My mom and I are allergic to basically everything and we fell in love. They make everything with whatever scent tickles your fancy. I chose cucumber melon ginger and lemongrass, and all three were only $55. Roy, Adriana - I'm writing this review for you and the creators of the business. Just to help! You and the others there are such beautiful people! I want you to be aware of some things. First, I was told the mechanism that sends light to your skin is $8K. I think you might have meant $800...? Very few people coming off the street (virtually zero) could afford or be interested in spending EIGHT THOUSAND dollars. That's crazy rich money for a device - for the regular person - or even a filthy rich person. EVEN a filthy rich person wouldn't purchase that without the product being backed by elite surgeons, etc. Also, if a person could afford $8K they would already be getting botox, fillers, facelifts, La Mer, creams at $150 per ounce, and so on. And they would be purchasing an $8K device at a certified med-spa. A person with that much money wouldn't come into a place off the street and lay down that kind of $ money on a tech device that no one has heard of, from people no one knows etc. Even high end retailers - Saks, Bergdorf's, etc... wouldn't be able to sell that...the elite would balk and inquire at their med-spa. I'm pretty certain your supervisor/manager said "$800." Double check that. You will never sell any device for $8K in that shop. Maybe a car or motorcycle... but that's it. Additionally - one of the sweet salespeople - she was chatting and demonstrating a product on my husband. And she told him the product was from "nanotechnology developed at NASA." Little did she know my husband worked for NASA for 32 years - and 10 of those years were for nanotech. He won an award for his work in nanotech at NASA and he said they never contributed to skincare in any way. lol! Aw! Guys... You never know who you are talking too - be real about the facts. Walking on the main street my friend and I were interested to come into the shop. We had a great experience trying different flavors until we finalize the one that we were going to get for different products. The main complaint is that we were not given the name of sense that we purchase and that is a disservice because as a returning customer we won't be able to replicate that same scent. The staff also did not represent the shop according to the atmosphere and culture. Maybe this is something the shop has understanding with the stuff. When I walked by this store I couldn't help but to stop. It smells AMAZING! One of the friendly sales people walked over to us and asked if we wanted to sample their mineral scrub on our hands. It was love at first sight at this point. After scrubbing our hands and using the body oil I was sold. She then said you can choose your scents and colors so I told my man to take a walk around the neighborhood while I customized my products :) They have over 200 scents to choose from and you can mix them as well. I have to say it was very difficult to choose because everything smelled divine. I gravitated towards warm tones like brown sugar, vanilla and was introduced to something new called pikake which is Hawaii's version of jasmine. I absolutely love jasmine & gardenias so these combos were just perfect for me. The mineral scrub is ultra soft, very fine sand texture. It contains: organic shea oil, jojoba oil, organic sunflower oil, sweet almond oil, honey & coconut milk. Sounds like dessert! And I highly recommend you splurge and also get the oil for your aftercare. Again, both items can be customized. The oil leaves my skin with a natural glow all year round. I love this place. I would choose sinfulicious over lush, bath and body, etc. let's start off with the fact that you can create your own unique scent, they have tons of oils to choose from. AND if you do buy something, they can save it on file for you. The scrubs and oils really do work. They use all natural ingredients and make everything right in front of you. Love this fact because I tend to be very sensitive to some of the fragrances that most lotions have. But not here! I also like that they sell bath bombs and aromatherapeutic "shower busters." And they carry Poo Pourri!! All the girls are so nice, never super pushy when it comes to trying to sell you stuff. Really all you need to do is wash your hands and the product sells you on its own. I walked by here after getting some macadamia nut ice cream from Lapperts. There were a lot of people in here and I wanted to see what was going on as I am nosey! Immediately, I was treated to a hand wash by Troy. My husband was even impressed with his hand salt scrub ad he usually thinks demos like that are a trick, lol! This demo is good because you get to try the products like the lotion and body oil and see how it feels on you skin. Next, we went to their scent bar where we mixed a variety of oils together to come up with a scent I liked. I gave him scents I liked and we were able to come up with a vanilla / rosemary / mint combo. They have a lot of items you can choose to mix your fragrance into, but I choose the body oil and sunflower oil body lotion. I use it as a hand lotion at work and I love it because it is non-greasy (no marks on my keyboard and mouse), moisturizing and has a calming scent (that I picked out!) The body oil is okay as it kinda makes a mess on my bathroom tiles and the spray pump sprays more in a line that in a mist. I don't know if you are supposed to tip here, but I didn't as the prices are somewhat high already. Though I do love the idea and so far I really enjoy their lotion. I would like their products more on a special sale or a more discounted price since it is a little high considering I can get something of better quality (and fair trade) at The Body Shop for less. read more

Sinfully soft and silky body care! On my last trip to Palm Springs, I came across this store in downtown PS after a friend introduced their product to me. All the items are made to order using the different combination of oils ranging from floral to fruity to fragrant. When I entered the store, I saw pink stand up mixers and mixing bowls with spatula's and wondered if they were making cupcakes. Turns out that this store uniquely creates your own personal scented oils and lotions. I was asked to place my hands over a glass of water and was given a sugar scrub. After rinsing this off, she placed couple drops of oil on my hands and was asked how it felt. I fell in love after feeling my super soft babies butt skin! The scrub and oil really made my hands feel 10x softer and this was a product I had to buy! The sales associate was very friendly and helpful. She asked what type of scent I usually wear. After explaining how I didn't like fruity scents, she suggested several different combination of floral oils and started to mix and match on a piece of paper. After half an hour, I was able to figure out exactly how I liked MY scent and came up with two different smelling oil, lotion and scrub. She took all the bottles of oils and started to make the products. Using a mixing bowl with a spatula, she took a glob of white lotion and asked which color oil I wanted to add in. I chose pink and peach for my lotion and scrub. After mixing everything in, she scooped it into a jar. It was nice to add more scented oil to make it smell even stronger. The price ranged from $30-$40 for each product but you are paying for a custom made body care that contains pure oil without the harsh alcohol and chemicals. I'm glad to hear that there's a store in Newport beach. Once i run out, i will be going back to make a different scented oil and lotion. Very fun store and perfect for mother's day! I've been looking for a good sea salt scrub ever since I used the last of the one my sister in law gave me. I was on a work trip a few weeks ago with a friend and she said we had to stop by this place. She had previously been to the location in San Diego. You walk in the door and they set you up at a sink where you can try their products and do a little spa treatment on your hands. That's how they hook you because immediately your skin feels like silk and you just HAVE to buy. No really. So there's a table with all kinds of scented oils. You could stand there all day taking in all the smells. The shop is lined with different products, all organic and they begin fragrance/dye free. You pick what is put in them. So my friend and I got the "Girlfriend package" which included the jar of salt scrub, oil spray, and bottle lotion for $50 each. You then go over to the counter where the staff mixes your products right in front of you. You can pick a color or leave it without, I picked pink. So they pour your salt into a big metal bowl, add your fragrance oil, add the color, and mix it. You're literally watching your body care products being created. Now that I'm home and I've been using them for a few weeks I can say I totally vouch for the products. It's so refreshing to get out of the bath after using them. As I searched Palm Canyon Dr. for a non-cliche gift to bring home for my wife at the end of my business trip, I was pretty excited to stumble upon your store. What a unique gift idea from my visit - a one of a kind scent crafted just for her! But alas, while I waited patiently for two groups of women to chat with your sales advisors, I wasn't even acknowledged as a potential customer. I browsed through the store and even picked out a really nice scent combination. It seemed like it would be rude to interrupt, so I finally gave up and left the store. I'm at the airport now waiting to board my flight home and I can still smell the floral blend on my hand that I would have happily purchased. Bummer. read more

Pros: All of the employs look and smell like candy. Even though you haven't eaten any sweets, you feel like you have. My skin felt great after my first bath. It's a fair price for being able to create your own personal bath product line. Cons: There is the potential for mistakes when the person mixing your product is not the same person that made your sniff card. It then becomes a guessing game as to what the combination to the fragrance is. You have to keep a close eye on them while they are mixing your product because they are human and make mistakes. The associate missed one of the fragrances in my combination, when I brought it up they told me they had added it, but they had not. Luckily I had a second smeller with me who confirmed the missing scent, so they corrected the issue. I never got the memo outlining how much of a tip bath salt mixers get, I tipped 4 dollars for every 35 dollars I spent, but apparently that wasn't enough because I got the stank eye, which seemed out of place in such a good-smelling store. They have pushy sales associates. We had already told the one we were working with no on a few things, but a different associate that we weren't working with at all kept trying to sell us items we didn't want. After a few polite declines we finally had to ignore her, she was pulling us out of the bath salt creating experience. Hints: Bring a friend. Having a second smeller makes all the difference. The nose knows, but another nose knows better. Keep an eye on the mixer to catch any mistakes. You're paying for the experience so take advantage of it and be lazy. Over all it was fun read more

I had such a positive experience last year that I was very disappointed with the customer service this time around. Last month, I ordered a body oil from the online store. After not receiving a status update for about 9 days, I emailed to inquire about my order. I didn't hear back from anyone, but I received an email the next day that my order was shipped. When the product arrived a few days later, it did not smell like what I ordered (I ordered lemongrass which has a very distinct smell; what arrived smelled more floral.) I emailed again to let them know that the product doesn't smell as expected, but no one responded. A week later, I called the store to let them know my concerns (this is now three weeks later from when I first ordered.) The person that answered was nice and apologetic, but basically said that was how the product smells and if she remade it, there wouldn't be anything different (she said it had to do with changing suppliers.) I would gladly pay $18 (plus shipping) for what I wanted, however, now I am stuck with a floral body oil that I will not use. Sometimes it's just for the experience... I usually purchase my bath products when shopping local at Whole Foods, Sprouts or Mother's. In other words, I scrutinize everything that goes on and in my body and make purchase decisions accordingly. At over half a century old, I must say that my due diligence has paid off for the most part. I've even had custom scents mixed for my perfumes using only essential oils and all added ingredients natural, etc. This time, however, I threw caution to the wind and bought custom body products without worrying about its "organicness", purity or wholesomeness. Okay, I went for the pretty first and foremost then the novelty of watching beauty products concocted before my eyes. Yes I tipped Angelina, the personable shop girl and mixologist with one of the best sales pitches I've heard in a long time. It was for the entertainment. Yes my total bill was around $250 for four sets (one for me, three as gifts)--inexpensive compared to what I've spent at the natural beauty counter at the aforementioned grocery stores, Fresh Cosmetics, Lush Handmade or L'Occitane. Will I get what I paid for? (Interpret that anyway you want.) Probably, but my ten-year-old niece and I sure had a lot of fun selecting our scents and products and watching Angelina whip it all up. Go have some fun. Make some memories.
