Singas Pizza has been around for a while with the original being from Queens, NY. We used to frequently visit the Edison, NJ location. Now I'm glad they finally opened up a new location in Kendall Park area much closer to me. It's not a traditional pizza place but their personal pizzas are delicious. Affordable price and you can make your own pizza and if you buy two pizza you will get one free cheese pizza. The place is large and clean, would recommend for families and dates for a quick, delicious and hot pizza. I highly recommend the pineapple and jalapeños OR green pepper onion combinations. They say they use a special sauce though I can't make anything different out from regular marinara. My husband and I shared a Jalapeño/Pineapple & a Veggie. We took home the free Cheese. This is a CASH ONLY place so that's why i took one star off. I normally don't carry cash with me so sometimes it's a nuisance if I'm randomly craving for pizza and this place is open but I don't have cash. I would like if they started accepting credit cards. I've pretty much been a fan since the days they've been in Edison. Since they've come to Franklin Park, we've been regulars here for the most part. For one, they have a great deal with the buy 2, get 1 plain free. Also, the toppings are fresher than your average chain pizzeria. I find the jalapenos have more of a kick. The green pepper and onions are on point as well. The pie is more than enough for an individual and the buy 2 get 1 free is plenty for a family of 3-4. In addition, the pizza is also great when reheating the next day or two, something that's important when having leftovers. I find that New York-style slices are only really good when hot and don't taste the same when reheating. The only bummer is the parking lot in the plaza, though I can't really blame Singa's for that. That's really an issue with the planners of the shopping center. read more

As per all of the Singas locations, the buy two topping get one free cheese pie is what drives customers in. The pizza is a personal pie priced around $7. Sometimes at this location, pizza is over cooked and hard to eat. It is definitely a place where you should try and you will see how it differs than most pizzerias. Also, they only accept cash. It is cash only but there is an ATM in the store. We always order a hot pepper, but be warned these are jalapenos with the seeds so they are very hot. One star is for the customer service.. not for the pizza. On the phone they never bothered to tell the order number to my wife and when I come there the tone with which they speak is beyond rude... secondly they never mention it's a cash payment for a phone order and when we point that out. They say " we can't keep telling every customer such things" seriously so the customer should know from top of his or her head that these people only take cash for a phone order. They have signs stating that its cash payment for phone order inside. I suggested for them to keep a sign outside the door and ofcourse you know the reaction.. I'm a big fan of their iselin, nj branch. This branch's pizza is nowhere near on par with the one in Iselin. The marinara sauce is lacking in flavor/spices and is waaaay too salty. They also don't use the same yellowish mozzarella (or mixed) pizza cheese as Iselin. To top it off their door says they deliver when they don't. The one in Iselin, NJ is a Pizza connoisseur's dream. If you haven't tried them, give them a shot and you'll be hooked. Props to Singas in general though for bringging back decently-sized personal pies with amazing crusts (unlike Domino's or Pizza Hut's standard crusts). read more

Their sauce to cheese to Crust ratio is perfect & the sauce is so flavorful! It's not a deep crust or thin, kind of the perfect in between (leaning a little to thin). The pizza is the perfect proportion and I love that it's not even that expensive! Best thing is everyone gets what they want. Great choice for vegetarians! WAYYYY better than the chain pizzas! And the leftover pizza is sooo good too. I do wish they cut their bell peppers a little smaller so they would cook better, but I wouldn't say they were raw.
