And they're layered and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the inside and a whole lot of butter and toasted garlic make for an amazing garlic knot. They come in 4. The pizza was okay! Don't sleep on hole-in-the-wall pizzerias. Sansone Brother's Pizza might just be a small spot in a strip mall, but their pizza is great. The grandma slice had an excellent, thick, chunky sauce. The base was well-crisped and the cheese rocked. The fresh basil tied all the flavors together to finish off a great slice. The peppers and onions slice featured excellent cheese and sauce. Today I ordered delivery and not only was my order an hour late, I received a huge attitude from the delivery lady, and the restaurant receptionist hung up on me. When I went to give my daughter some of the turkey sub I pulled the roll off just to find mold and dirt all over the cheese. After some contemplation I called the restaurant to complain. I work in restaurants so I don't ever complain. But I am so appalled they would sell any item with dirt and/or mold on it. The guy told me I was lying and there was nothing he could do. My daughter could have ate mold and this guy insists on me lying. I am not out to get anything for free but a sincere apology would of been appreciated. How would this restaurant feel if I sold there family moldy food to eat?! Most definitely will never order from here again. Ps: the owner call back screaming at my fiancé about the Yelp review. That shows absolutely zero customer service skills. Also, I would of been happy with a sorry. Thirdly, he called to say we should not have ordered from him because we are too far away (14 minutes). I really try to give this place a good review. It's a Mom and pop restaurant. I order a large pizza with extra cheese. I have a feeling extra cheese meant regular cheese pizza with higher price on it. Compared to little Little Caesars their extra cheese was less cheese than a regular pizza. A Little Caesars pizza was also better quality and cheaper. Other things that annoyed me is my free delivery included a $2 delivery fee and extra charges. So a $16 pizza was just under $25 when delivered. I should have done an online order, which show all costs up front. Pizza quality was just ok. My family has been ordering from Sansone's since I was a little girl heading off to grandma's house for sleepovers. I would get the eggplant Parmesan every time and to this day it's still the best take out eggplant Parmesan in the world. My brother would get stuffed shells but ick, too much ricotta for me. It should be noted that my nana was the only person I knew in the world with HBO for like the first 12 years of my life. However, their delivery is spotty. It's usually like 30 minutes later than they say except for last night. I don't remember how long they said it would be but I ordered one pepperoni pizza and one order of mozzarella sticks at 7:45. At 8:45 I called them just to check on things and was barked at. "I SAID it would be an hour!" Fine. Then at 9:45 I was just about to call and cancel and the delivery guy called me looking for my house. I felt bad for the guy, Ned was a dick to him and then walked away. I live very close to this restaurant and happen to really enjoy their food. We order from them 1-2 times a week. Tonight when I called I got a new voice on the phone who told me there was a minimum charge for delivery. (NEVER been told that in 2 years of ordering from them and I was today ordering the same thing we always order.) So I said "What's the minimum?" He said "$15." I said "So how much is a medium pie?" He said "$11plus $2 delivery charge...." I interrupted. "Both of your SIGNS on your restaurant say "free delivery" on them." And he says "Oh we were meaning to change that before the pandemic but that didn't happen." SERIOUSLY?? You've apparently been ripping me off $2 a delivery for 2 years and you're going to stall my order for being $2 short AND THEN ASK IF I WANT TO TIP THE DRIVER!! Near us is Dusal's (good pizza - AWFUL delivery service), 3 Musketeers (not my Style) and Sansone. Great customer service, they know me now and handle me. Good Veal Parm with spaghetti too. Pizza delivered (great delivery service and timely) a little undone. Throw it in the oven for 10 minutes at 175 and enjoy. Try the Eggplant Pizza, Caesar salad (great!) Omg I love the country chicken salad from Sansone's. I eat all over the place and I haven't had a better salad anywhere else (I like mine with no dressing or olives). They don't deliver to where I live but I go there at least once a week to eat this salad. I requested the same salad in a pizzeria near my office in Bergen county. It was twice the price (although it was huge) but it was so gross that it went to the garbage. My issue was with hygiene. While I was waiting for my pizza to be made, I saw the person that was handling the dough of my pizza and grabbing all the toppings, also helping other customers receiving/giving money, all with his bare hands. No washing of hands or gloves taken or worn in between. I ended up eating the pizza and it was great pizza with big slices, and generously covered with toppings, but still, this is a big no-no. read more

I have not gone there in years. There is no way the Sansone Brothers still own it. The pizza used to be great and sandwiches (cheese steak and subs) were massive and great. I came back to area and was feeling nostalgic. Did not see familiar face but tried pizza. It was not the same. Took cheese steak to go and not the same. More bothersome was the place did not appear clean. Maybe it was a bad day or my memory of how good they used to be is flawed. Rt 27 has changed. 4 Musketeers is now a diner. Everytime I call and place an order I feel like they talk at you not to you. We ordered a large pie with fresh tomatoes and sausage, and an order of the zeppoli sticks. The pie could've used more tomato but other than that, it was one of the best pies, proportion-wise, that I've ever had. The zeppoli sticks are hard to keep for delivery, and by the time we ate them, they were a little on the hard side, but when you're having a carb-load kind of night, you just don't care.
