Which is nice in an emergency since you aren't going to get in to see your regular vet on a Sunday. They triage patients based on urgency, so your cat with the sniffles will be seen long after the dog that was hit by a car. Totally understandable. Your level of care may vary (see some other reviews) but our experience was positive. BE PREPARED! You're going to have (an extremely uncomfortable) front row seat to animals arriving sick, broken and dying. Fellow pet parents are going to be sobbing over their impending loss. Heart-wrenching. And you're going to have to endure this for 4 to eight hours. (We were there seven & a half). Many of you reading this are going to find this extremely tough to take. We sure did. As an aside, there was an unseen worker in the back coughing her head off for THE ENTIRE SEVEN + HOURS we were there! STAY HOME IF YOU'RE SICK. This is how we wind up with pandemics.

There was no cleaning out of the infection, no culture to determine if the antibiotic would even work and no X-ray. After 2 weeks it still looked horrible so we returned and were told he had a hairline fracture in his nose so he was put into a cone for 6 weeks, given another antibiotic (again NO culture) and told to return in 6 weeks. So, we followed the instructions, finished all of the antibiotic and at the end of 6 weeks it still was not healed. At that point I was told by a second Bet here that "Oh that won't ever heal because there's a lot of bacteria in the nose! SO, we found another Dr (Countryside Veterinary Clinic) and he required surgery because Town and Country never cleaned the debris out of the base of the wound. It took a year, 2 surgeries, a 6 week routine of a liquid oral antibiotic, to finally get the problem resolved because of Dr Costello's poor treatment of an infected would. At one point I was told he might not recover. He was 1 1/2 at the time of the injury. DO NOT GO TO TOWN AND COUNTRY. If I could give a 0 I would.

After 10 days, the incision became swollen, lumpy, and red. I requested that the stitches be removed. Despite this, 5 days later, the incision became infected. The clinic prescribed an antibiotic, but it was ineffective and did nothing to address the infection. Another week passed, and the situation worsened--the incision opened, with seepage and signs of dehiscence. When we took Bailey to our trusted vet, they declined to intervene because they had not performed the original surgery. The clinic then suggested keeping her for a week to "rehabilitate" her. Absolutely not! There was no way I would allow them to touch her again. Fortunately, Dr. Allen stepped in, prescribing a stronger antibiotic that finally made a difference. After 8 days, the incision healed, and we thought the ordeal was over. Unfortunately, today, the wound reopened. The skin is now necrotic and blackening, and there's an odor coming from the site. Bailey will require surgery again, and we can only hope we can get this under control. If I could give this clinic negative stars, I would. Please save yourself the heartache and avoid this establishment at all costs. This has been a nightmare for both us and our dog.

Now all of a sudden they need appointments for a procedure that takes less than 5 minutes but means the world to my dog's comfort. Appointments are over a week out. I doubt we will be returning. Setting aside some time for walk ins for simple things shouldn't be that difficult. They were a great safety net for times when their regular vet was booked, but no more.

So, we took her to this vet we had been going to for many years. Dr. Singh said she'd have to be operated on immediately, claiming it could be life-threatening, but he'd have to do it on a Sunday because they're too busy, and not to let his staff know, which I thought was very peculiar. However, he made it seem so imperative to get it done that we made the appointment. Then, on Saturday night around 8, he called and canceled. When he first told me, my intuition told me something was wrong. So, after he cancelled on us. I went on Yelp and did a lot of research and found another vet. I got a second opinion, and I'm glad I did, because it turns out she was just coming into her cathood, and she didn't need an operation at all - she was completely healthy. I'm just warning others out there: if you go to this vet, I would definitely suggest getting another one and always getting second opinions on your animals, especially if your intuition is acting up.

Not many places groom cats...at least, not in this area. But NPS does. And they do an outstanding…read morejob! I bring my cat here 2-3 times a year, since she has really long fur.. I have her bathed and clipped. NPS does a great job with her. And I've always been very happy with the results. NPS is friendly and reasonably priced. Also, they won't try and talk you into something you don't need. Ex...my cat was doing an excessive amount of scratching and biting at herself. I thought she might have fleas, so I told NPS to give her a flea treatment, which would have been an extra charge. No prob. When I went to pick my cat up, NPS told me they didn't see any fleas, so she didn't need the flea treatment. I recently took my cat to the vet for her regular shots, and to check on the scratching. The vet said to me "I don't know where you get her groomed, but they did a really great job." I told the vet NPS! She was impressed because it's hard to find a groomer that will take care of cats, much less have them come out this good. I highly recommend NPS for your pet.

I taught my dog sit the wrong way at home. I stand wrong. I hold my hands wrong. I use the wrong tone of voice. I use the wrong treats. I give to many treats. I hold the leash wrong. I use the wrong marker, I release my dog from sit incorrectly. I lure my dog to sit wrong. Shes too full of herself with her AKC standards. She says obedience should not be fun. Well it's sure not fun with her as a teacher. I tried to have an open mind and went back for class number 2. (Different day/time with other people attending) she kept trying to stop me from stepping out to calm my puppy as he was barking and being disruptive. She said I can't leave, yet didn't give me workable advice for my dog barking. "You can't leave! He needs to learn to behave" that's when I walked out 15 minutes into class. I wasn't there for strict obedience and she knew that and didn't care. So if you are looking for a drill sergeant she's the one for you. Otherwise stay away. She also talked shit about other clients so I'm sure she will about me as well. Rude, ridged, and not for your average dog owner wanting some fun training and socialization

This place doesn't even deserve a star. The way the animals and the fish are treated aren't even…read morehumane. Every animal I have bought has died within the first 3 days. It's bad when their own cashier sets and watches the bettas doe because they are kept in plastic containers that bettas aren't meant to be in. Enclosures are small, the small animal pets cant barely move. Staff, has no knowledge about any of the fish or small animals. They need to just stick to selling pet supplies.
