It is my pleasure to write a review for this wonderful Thai restaurant. First of all, even though I am not a Thai but visited recently and loved Thai food. This restaurant is operated by Thai and the best I tried in US across different states. Why this restaurant is rated 3.5 in yelp baffles me and reminds me the most authentic food are not necessary the most welcomed in the state. We basically eat in this restaurant 3 days in a row for total of 5 meals in 4 days of stay in Moab since we find it the second day. This is how good we think the restaurant is. Today, I had red curry and my wife ordered tumyum noodle. The ingredients are fresh, the taste are authentic. We finished to the last drop of the soup. After the meal, we are happy and no bad tasting left in our mouth or stomach after few hours. Please note, this is a HUGE compliment. Final tip, the lunch special is a great deal, almost half price compare to dinner menu and an extra spring roll. The potion is generous and this is no corner cutting. We were very happy with the food we ate at Sing Ha. It is comparable to Thai you would find in any big city. However, there was only one server for the entire restaurant of about 15 tables. Also, the server didn't know the types of wine they had even though there were only 4 or 5 wines on the menu. This being said I would eat there again and certainly recommend it. read more

Food is not that bad but definitely not worth even half the atrocious prices they charge for what is a typical average fare. Food is kinda on the bland side (even when asked to make it spicier), at least for those who normally eat authentic Thai food. Went there thinking this is a good change from the normal Mexican, Italian or Burgeg joints. Service was mediocre and careless at times (had to ask for napkins multiple times), even though the restaurant was barely 70% full. Shocker on top of the excessive pricing: They automatically add tips to parties of any size...even 4... not just those of 6 or more as stated in the menu. This last act by them put us off. read more

Should be given -1 rating. On thanksgiving we call up for reservation for 8. I was explained it was rush hour and table might not be ready. We loved the honesty and went ahead with booking. We arrive and are told that we will be moved to the top of the waiting list and table should be ready in few minutes. Took a bit long but hey it was thanksgiving night ...So far so good! We are finally given a table Our party of 8 facing the wall and not each. We don't fuss because the place was packed and people waiting. While we settled in, we see 2 table open up next to each other. We request our server if we can move to that table. Server agrees. So be polite we pick up our water glass and menu and move to the next table. This guy with pony tail ( the one who took our reservation ) walks in calls out and in the loudest possible voices says "what do you think you are doing Sir ! I took lot of trouble to set up the table. You either eat there or leave " Now Mr . Guy with pony if you are the owner of the place 1. Learn to be on the same page as your colleagues. 2. Get some business lesson for conflict resolution. But if you work here .. you should be fired before you attract law suit to the restaurant. read more

When you just can't stomach the taste of bar food in Moab anymore (which is a majority of the restaurants), Sing Ha is a great alternative. Close to the main street and fast service, this has become a staple for Moab visits. I usually get the drunken noodles, pad thai, pad see ew, or veggie spring rolls. If you like spicy, be sure to request it, they tend to cook on the more moderate side, and I think the pad thai could use a little more kick. However, overall the food is great, warm, and always such a pleasant treat after a long day in the desert. read more

We were here a couple years ago and it was good so this time in town we had to go back. It was still good but not super great. Husband and I got dumplings, Siracha Fried Rice with Chicken and Combo (Beef, Pork and Chicken ) Drunkin Noodles. Dumplings were ok. Really crispy and hard but tasted good. We just prefer a pan fried dumpling vs deep fried, which is what they seemed like. The Chicken in the rice and in the noodles was really dry. I think we had 2 pieces of pork and some beef. The beef and pork were good, just wish there was more of it. The only other thing is that it can get really noisy in there. Their is no acoustical treatments on the walls so everything bounces and is loud. Don't get me wrong, it is good food but not for the price. You have to remember your location, you're in Moab. We were surprised to find a Thai restaurant in Moab. We had the lunch specials after a strenuous day of hiking in the Arches N.P. The food was delicious and the restaurant was not crowded probably because we came there around 2pm. The dishes were served quickly. The quantities served were sufficient. We were in Moab during the thanksgiving long weekend. On Friday night we searched yelp and finally picked this one for dinner. It was a quite small place next to the main street of Moab town. When we stepped in, the waitress told that we have to wait for 40 minutes. So we decided to place the order and pick the stuff later. The restaurant décor was authentic and had only small seating area. One the order side I saw lot of traditional Thai herbs and spices on the display in small glass bottles. Sa-Tay Slices of grilled tender chicken on a stick, cooked perfectly but little dry and not so flavorful. Crab Rangoon -- Crab meat with cream cheese.Perfect combination with hot sauce. Thai Lomein - Stir fried egg noodle with egg, broccoli, bamboo shoot, carrot, red & green pepper and bean sprout. The lomein was very spicy and we were expecting that much of spiciness. Spicy Basil Fried Rice- Stir fried rice with egg, onions, Scallions, red and green peppers, and basil leaves and chicken. Even though we asked to make it as spicy, but I wasn't that much.Tastes yummy and it was my favorite dish on that day. Every staff member was busy and moving here and there. My friend and I stayed in Moab while on our way home to San Diego from St. Louis. We had spent a long day at Arches Nat'l Park and were recently showered and STARVING. We looked on yelp & also consulted the lovely lady at the front desk of our hotel for some advice. The answer was obvious- Sing ha Thai. We walked there, were quickly seated & ordered some appetizers. My friend is a non meat eater and I am a meat eater. I don't mind compromising though so we got the veggie gyoza-they accidentally brought pork. But they were very apologetic & provided not only the correct dumplings br also some spring rolls free of charge. Everyone makes mistakes and we happily devoured all of it quickly which is why ther are no pics! We each got the spicy basil dish-my friend had veggies & I got chicken. It was scrumptious & hit the spot. I managed to get a pic before my inner fat girl went off and ate practically everything in sight. I am so disappointed they added the gratuity in my bill by themselves. Just to make sure, we are a party of two. I believe they did it based on my race (I paid by credit card of American bank, so they know I am staying here.), and it is disgusting. it ruins my feeling and the dining experience-disrespected or discriminated. We are from Portland, OR, and got a tip from a local to check this place out as "the best thai food in town." Unfortunately by the end we agreed we should have gone to the sushi joint next door. The Saki was over priced and tasted like cool-aid. We ordered a tofu Pad Thai dish which was about $14 (woah!), small, and okay. We also ordered a yellow curry dish that tasted more like chicken soup then curry. Their tempura (sp?) tasted like a basket of onion rings :( The whole deal came out to be $50. We were super bummed! I understand it's hard to get good authentic food out here, but the price did NOT match the quality. read more
