This place is the real thing for a men's haircut in Fullerton among so many average places. Krista does a great job in cutting my hair. I always enjoy my haircut as she is so talented and gives me the cut I want but also suggests things that would look better on me. I have needed a cut when she was super busy one time and mistakenly chose to go somewhere else - big mistake. Trust me you will find her skills great. Just got off the train after reviewing barbers on yelp. These guys were open until 8:00! No answer on the phone so just decided to walk over from the train station. I got there at 6:00. The sign was outside on the sidewalk with an arrow that said Barber & OPEN. Doors were locked but there were two people cutting hair inside. Lady answered the door and apologized. Popped in late at night around 9 pm for a haircut even thought the barber was booked he was able to accommodate me. The service was pretty decent barber was friendly. Best to call ahead and try to schedule an appointment, the prices are ok little pricey for me. It's $25 for a men's haircut. Read good reviews for the shop so decided to check it out after work. Called ahead of time and confirmed walk-ins acceptance. Upon arriving, the reception desk was empty so I proceeded to the chairs. Barbers gave a dirty stare as I approached the seat. The shop started to get busy and I was next to be helped. Then one of the barbers asked if it was an appointment or walk-in. Upon responding and mentioning the absence of the receptionist and the clip board, he told me I needed to sign in and wait to be called, the clip board was on the other side of the desk. During my haircut I felt a heated burn. I've never felt this burning sting during a haircut so I was very confused what it was. It hurt but not to the point where I had to scream. The haircut itself was exactly what I wanted. Christina did a very good job with helping me achieve the look I wanted. I was helped right away and left feeling good. Yet I couldn't help but feel this burning sensation in my back neck. I got home to see my neck burning red. I saw a previous review where someone else left cut but I didn't think anything of it. So this review is a warning to their future clients to say something bc I wish I did so I wouldn't have came home to this and would've fixed it right away. Overall, haircut and service was nice. This was my first barber shop experience and personally, I was really nervous going in. But there was definitely some thing about this place that made it feel like I've been before. The ambience and the barbers there were really friendly and made it super enjoyable to be there as you laugh along side with them. Very chill back and the vibe is right. He made sure that he knew exactly what I wanted and asked the right questions. As a walk-in, I waited about 40 minutes as the shop had gotten pretty busy and Bryan offered to cut my hair. It was the first time I got my haircut from him. I showed a picture of what I wanted and he accidentally cut my sides too short, for my liking. The whole time, he was very understanding and apologetic and did his best to make it work.
