We arrived very late during a snow storm. The woman at the front desk was very kind to us and the room was warm when we got in. We were supposed to catch a 3am greyhound bus and left the hotel room early that morning. Our bus was delayed and when we went back to see if we could get into out room she was understanding and let us back in (at this point its 4 in the morning) with no problem. Quiet,small and relatively cheap stay, would reccomend to someone looking for a no frills easy night sleep. read more

This motel is very dated, the beds were terribly uncomfortable with equally uncomfortable pillows. The coffee pot was dirty, with used tea bags in the strainer. The walls are stained and the cocking in the bathroom needs to be replaced. Was very disappointed, as most of the reviews on the booking app said the beds were comfortable. Also, my reservation for 2 nights was 128, yet the lady charged me 158, saying the room was $70 a night. I didn't argue, because I was tired and was looking forward to relaxing. Unfortunately... I tossed and turned all night and couldn't wait to leave this place. read more

The location is quiet. I stayed here during the storm response to the Boles fire. The room was good sized and relatively clean. I do recommend flip flops as I wasn't too sure about the carpet. For the price it was reasonably comfortable. The internet worked well. I had a difficult time communicating with the staff and didn't even know there was a breakfast available....and I stayed 3 days! read more

What a rip off! This motel is at least 70 years old and looks it. We paid $120 for one night while there is a new Comfort in. Right across the street that charged less than $80. For the same night. The breakfast was disgusting packaged pat retries-we walked over to MacDonald instead. There was wifi but the connection was very weak one of a managed to get a signal but the other of us on another iPad did not. Beware, They have a no cancellation policy with less than 2 days notice we would have left and gone across the street but we were stuck. I can't understand all the good reviews. I assume they wrote them themselves. read more

The room was clean and comfortable. Given its price range I was pleased by the comfort and service. It is not the Marriott, but for $60 it was a good place to stop off for the night on our road trip. Given its proximity to the freeway, I was pleasantly surprised that it was not loud in the room. read more

Traveling with kids and thought we'd stay here to "save" $30 a night. Never again. Upon check in I was asked if I wanted room service ? Told the woman checking me in, no, we don't. We don't need our rooms cleaned at all, we would make our beds and exchange towels. Next morning we are awoke at 8:30, room service. No! We have a 3 night stay and the room was dirty to begin with, but WE cleaned before going to bed. We just want new towels. We left for the day, leaving AC at 68 and come back to it being shut off. The following morning we awoke early left AC again at 68 asked for no room service and came back to AC off, possessions moved, a new pair of Keens stolen, someone rifled through personal luggage taking medication. Honestly if they were going to make the room look like it had been cleaned? They could have at least left clean towels, put fresh sheets on the beds. But instead they are busy taking things that don't belong to them. This place isn't fancy, but we WERE happy to look past that. We were happy to look past the cheap puzzles turned into wall art (they don't fit the picture frames). We were happy to give a family business instead of a franchise. BUT then, it was buzzzzzkill, with the I gotta wake you up at O-dark30 to see if you want room service you specifically said you DID NOT want! Or the week old breakfast that you can't digest and even your kids refuse. Kids refuse..and they eat anything. And to top off everything? You come back to find STOLEN Keen shoes and medication. The check in and check out amount were 2 different amounts as well. So this place is a complete fraud read more

I made a reservation by phone. The male on the other end of the line took all my personal information, including my credit card. He assured me several times that he had reserved a two bedroom suite for me and that I would be able to have a late check-in the following night, around 2am. When we arrived for our reservation the next day, around 2:30 in the morning, not only did the woman in the office claim to not have any record of us reserving a room, nor did she have a room available for us. But the worst part was that she couldn't care less and made no effort to even pretend to be apologetic. In fact, she seemed downright annoyed by our presence. She assured me my card wouldn't be charged because she didn't have record of it but I'm very bothered that SOMEONE there has my credit card information. Some of the rudest customer service I've ever received in my life, and coming at 2:30 am after a seven hour drive made it all the crappier. read more

Worst hotel ever! Cheap at every corner! Beds were uncomfortable pillows were limited and breakfast was cheap only bread!

We were driving from Phx to Portland & we stumbled upon this city & decided we could sleep somewhere in it and then get back on the road the next morning. This one had the best prices & so we chose this one & I'm happy we did. We have no complaints about our stay whatsoever. You can really tell the sheets were fresh & so were all the towels. The place was quiet & calm & so was the area around it. There's also free wifi & breakfast! read more

We liked it, you might too. It's so close to I-5 you can snowball cars from the parking lot, but our room 109 ($78 total) facing the freeway, was very quiet. The motel has a hallway with rooms opening off to the East and West. The large rooms, comparable in size to average Best Western rooms, have been refreshed within the last 5 years or so and were quite adequate with fridge, microwave, older TV, excellent shower, plenty of lamps, desk, table, chairs, clothes hangers and working wi-fi. There was no coffee/tea service. The room and bed were clean and the wallboard heater worked fine on this sub-freezing night in December. The lady manager is sometimes a bit harried because she also does some of the maid service, but she checked us in efficiently and saw to our needs when we had questions. Breakfast in the small lobby was adequate, just a cut below average Best Western offerings, but we brought ours back to our room and embellished it with fruit and yogurt. Nearby are plenty of eateries, including the rather charming Dos Amigos, and you can prowl the aisles of the large Pilot truck-stop store to see what the latest trucker fashions are (hint: cowboy and black leather.) read more

People are helpful and friendly. It is quiet and has the most comfortable bed have ever slept on in a hotel.

This motel was a gem (and yes, I cannot believe that those words are actually coming out of my mouth). We were late getting up to Shasta and had planned to get a good night's sleep before a summit attempt. The Motel-6 cancelled our reservations and we were left scrambling to find a place to stay last minute. We stumbled upon the Sis-Q and were pleasantly surprised to find comfortable rooms and a hot tub at super reasonable prices. This is not a Ritz, but it definitely surpassed our expectations. read more

This is a beautiful lodge type motel, spacious and beautiful rooms with a nice view. It is located right off hwy 5, pet friendly, and possibly the best place I've stayed at with my dog, so comfortable, quiet and friendly service, I like to stay here every time I come to Siskyou County, also the price is right, at $55 a night + $10 for the dog. read more

Very clean and quiet, yet conveniently located close to gas stations, restaurants and Hwy. 5 access. Bathrooms recently remodeled and new mattresses installed. Grounds are well kept. Carpeting is projected to be replaced soon. Continental breakfast had a good selection, but no tables at which to sit (took b-fast back to the room). Owner is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed here in August and found it very clean, quiet and friendly. There were none of the noisy trucks I heard mentioned in other reviews It is family owned and run, The breakfast, with fresh fruit and other good things, was free and plentiful. People went walking in the morning in the neighborhood area with open grassy areas. This is an "old style" single story motel,a type which we enjoy. I dearly hope this family and their business were spared from the recent forest fire which was disastrous to so many. Our hearts go out to this community. We would definitely stay in this motel again. read more

Needed a placed to stay for 2 nights,so our kids could get a couple summer dips in Lake Siskiyou.The lake was great,as well as a visit to Mount Shasta.Sis Q Inn...horrible.My husband was devoured by bed bugs.We found them the second night.The owner acknowledged them when we showed her two squished bugs we found in our bed.My husband woke up the first night with tons of bites.We didn't physically see them till the second night,when we were awaken by bites and could see the engourged creatures.The owner only agreed to refund us the 2nd night.The owner was unapologetic and tried to blame us,stating that no other people complained of the room,even though she saw the bed bugs herself.It was as if we inconvenienced her,despite the fact that we were covered in bites,roomless with 2 small children in the middle of the night.What kind of motel blames their guests for such a problem?We were bitten by those little vulgar creatures,and then by the motel owner.Spent the next night in Sacremento doing laundry for 4 hours,praying we wouldn't bring any critters home with us to the Bay Area.Would never stay here,ever,ever,ever,again! read more
