The only reason it's not 5 stars is the slow service. They're too busy for speed so you're dining experience will be "leisurely" and you will be happy with it when you get it as it's always good. We've had 6 different orders on two occasions and it was all very good. The chicken Caesar is grilled to juicy perfection and the Turkey club has a buttery croissant with avocado. It's a seat yourself type of deal. Order at the register and step to the side to hit the bar. None the less, the menu items are dreamy. Lobster Mac n cheese, brisket Mac n cheese wrap, brisket burger. I settled with an order of buffalo wings and prime rib grilled cheese ( wasn't on the menu but the woman at the register said it was a special). Everything was worth the price. Oh so delicious! We're traveling across Oregon and after reading other Yelp reviews decided to stop on at Sisters Cafe for brunch. We are soooo glad we did. This is a darling little cafe in the heart of downtown Pendleton. The staff is very friendly, the service is prompt, and the food is freshly prepared and tasty. I had the Little Sister salad with Balsamic dressing and the ham and cheese croissant sandwich. The salad was prepared using fresh, crisp greens, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, a sprinkling of cheese and croutons, and it was artfully presented. My croissant sandwich was piping hot, the croissant flaky and buttery, the egg cooked to perfection, and the sharp cheddar was melted and bursting with flavor. My husband ordered a side salad with Caesar dressing and it too was beautifully presented and flavorful. He ate the Cuban panini and said the flavor combination of meats and sauce was perfect. It was served with a small cup of potato salad that was creamy with firm potatoes. He would love to be able to buy some to take home. So if you're passing by Pendleton and looking for some good food, be sure to stop at Sisters for fresh food and friendly staff. read more

My husband and I split the orchard blue salad and the uptown turkey sandwich. The lettuce was OK. The dressing, a berry vinaigrette, was flavorful, but strangely thick. We had it with added salmon. The salmon was smoked and all together this salad was refreshing and very tasty. We would have it again. It's a great way to eat something light when it's hot out. The uptown turkey was very full flavored as well. The sprouted wheatberry bread is really good and the bacon on this sandwich is top notch. It comes with a couple bites of a creamy potato salad too. Cream cheesy. They also serve coffee and have a wide variety of other drinks in their cooler, including several craft beers, ciders, lemonade, and soda/fruit drinks. While tempted, I was not able to try a cookie, but they looked great. The front room decor is just like any typical bistro and the staff is friendly, greeting you As you enter. The back room is a bit mismatched. The bathrooms and floor scream "Mexican!" But the table and chairs, paint and art are all "Bistro!" A for atmosphere, this place has plenty of it. Restaurant is spacious and roomy, decor is on point. And customer service is good. We got the breakfast burritos, they were pretty bland. But they were playing journey so that's a huge plus. We came here because it was the only viable option. If I could give this a 2 1/2 Star I would but let's be nice and round up to a 3. I saw a billboard for this cafe while traveling on the interstate. Billboard wasn't flashy, but I was drawn to the simplicity of the ad. So glad we stopped to try it out. Space was large but cozy and I loved the atmosphere. Staff was incredibly friendly and engaging and the food was delicious. Came out exactly as we ordered and all of us (me, hubby and 3 kids) were 100% satisfied with our food, both in flavor and quantity. Downtown Pendleton can be a lonely place on a Sunday afternoon. As I was looking for a good place to eat on my way through town this weekend a cow dog actually laid down in the middle of main street. The interior seemed cavernously large to me with a strange curtain splitting the room in half and a stage-looking setup that may have been used for open mic or something at night. Wire spool tables looked cool but were not very functional for sitting. A couple tables outdoors could have been a nice option as indoor A/C was set on Freezing. Order/pay at the counter and food is delivered to you. Make sure you have what you need when the food arrives as you will not see the waitress again - Ever. I had a tuna melt sandwich which I enjoyed. A salted Carmel cookie to go was also a tasty treat later. 3 stars for food and 2 stars for environment. read more

This is a charming place in the heart of Pendleton. Very nice inside. I ws with a group of 4 and three of us ordered the meatloaf sanwich and one ordered a wrap. The meatloaf sandwich was amazing. I found it strange that 2 of us got home cut fries while one of us got what appeared to be frozen fries that looked completely different. I might have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for the 40 minute gape between the first person and last person being served at the table of 4. The tables were all really dirty & my step mom asked if she could get a rag to clean the table. I'm sorry but AS A SERVER, if someone asks me for a rag to clean the table, I refuse... That's literally my job, and no customer should ever have to clean their own table... So we cleaned up our own table. There was a million flies. Most of my party wanted water to drink, but the water station was empty. I even watched an employee walk over to the water station, see that it's empty, and then walk away. It never got filled the entire hour and a half we were there. My sister went to order a pizza to go before we were done eating so it would be ready by the time we wanted to leave. 30 minutes pass by, and we finish our fo Good food. However, I often get the wrong order or have to wait a very long time for them to so much as take my order. (I usually sit at the bar.) It seems like they're always training new people?
