Melissa has helped train all of my dogs and is unlike anyone else I've ever seen for dog training…read more Melissa is crazy talented and extremely knowledgeable. She has not only transformed bad behaviors in my dogs but also taught me how to better communicate and work as a team with my dogs. Dog training is a lot of training the owner as well and Melissa is extremely easy to work with, takes the time to make sure you understand everything she is teaching and uses a variety of methods to train your dog to be the best that they can be! I recommend Melissa to everyone. She even helped out of town family members tremendously over FaceTime training to improve leash/walking skills! We love Melissa and you will too!

Melissa is so down to earth and professional. I am a first time dog owner- kinda insane that I got such a stubborn and smart dog (beagles) but Melissa taught me SO much. For those that know how difficult the puppy stage is- I would have never survived it without her. She was available in between training sessions to help if Eleanor started a new bad habit or started a strange behavior. Anytime I had any questions or concerns- Melissa was always available with advice, links to products that saved my mental health. She is a phenomenal trainer, human being and sooo knowledgeable and experienced! Highly recommend!!!!!!

Where to start... my wife and I are extremely happy in choosing Tim to train our now 8-month-old…read moreGerman Shepard. She was overly timid, had separation anxiety, and basically ran the household. Tim came out for an eval, and within 10 minutes and a few tips, we could see a huge change in her. He spent nearly 2 hours with us explaining everything he does, what his background is etc. We felt extremely comfortable with him and decided to do the 4-week board and train. 4 weeks... sounds like a long time and we did miss her. Tim keeps you updated with Texts, Pictures and even videos on his website( password protected ). When Tim says the relationship between trainer and dog is the most important part of the training process, he means it. You can see the bond he built with our dog and she trusted him throughout the process. We got to see her after 2 weeks, to help with us missing her. We saw the process and it was amazing. Tim was excellent to work with, he gave us great instructions to take home along with a 3-hour long session when we picked her up, even gives a DAILY TYPED PROGRESS REPORT!. Did not expect that. I cannot recommend Tim enough. Every person I know that has had any sort of dog issue and is looking for a trainer... he is who I recommend. We do still have work to do as owner and dog, but she will learn as we go. It's not just training the dog... but the owners as well. Thank you Tim for the change you have brought to our girl. She is confident happy and a joy to walk, train with. She even listens to our 5 year old son!.

A dog (just like a child) needs to be told when they're doing something right, and when they're doing something wrong because even in the dog world, everything is about choices. How do I reward or motivate the dog, Food and Play. When your dog finishes their stay with us, I will teach you how to be successful with your dog. With that being said, the training never stops! You, the owner must be committed in order for your dog to be successful long term!

We can't say enough wonderful things about Chelle and For Social Graces! From the very beginning,…read moreChelle's expert guidance helped us navigate Level One Good Manners training with our dog, Tubbs, and we were so impressed that we immediately renewed our services to continue into Level Two Good Manners. Chelle is the definition of a consummate professional -- knowledgeable, patient, and warm. She shares her expertise in such a nurturing and encouraging way, which makes both the dogs and their humans feel confident and supported. We especially appreciate her positive reinforcement approach, which has not only helped us train Tubbs, but also helped us recognize and "correct" some of our own human habits along the way! As new pet parents navigating adoption, Chelle has been a trusted source of advice and reassurance. Her responsiveness and kindness have meant the world to us, and it's clear she genuinely cares about every dog and family she works with. Beyond training, we plan to be lifelong customers through For Social Graces' boarding, daycare, and grooming services. Tubbs has already enjoyed a brief overnight boarding stay and absolutely loves his daycare visits! Thanks to Chelle's influence, what started as Tubbs' initial apprehension toward car rides has turned into daily excitement -- he knows that car rides often mean getting to see his friends at For Social Graces! While Tubbs has always been a wonderful dog, Chelle and her team have helped his confidence blossom and his manners flourish, strengthening our bond with him in the process. We also really value the small class sizes, which allow for personalized attention and hands-on learning in a calm, friendly environment. Chelle and her team have truly made a lasting difference in our lives. We're so grateful to have found For Social Graces -- and we can't recommend them highly enough! -- Charley, Michael, & Tubbs
