Several of my family members are in sales ranging from retail to stocks and bonds; their work ethic is that the customers needs and goals are the priority. Aaron has the same ethic. Exercising infinite patience, he changed my frustrating task into a very pleasant experience. Aaron was not dealing with an easy client. I am an 86 year old retired professor who researches major purchases to exhaustion and asks myriad questions; additionally, my daughter was micromanaging the entire process from Houston. The experience I've had here was excellent. I walked into the store and was helped almost instantly. All the staff were wearing masks and gave us disposable cloths to lay on the beds. My wife and I had a good experience at the Sit N Sleep location in Brea. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by friendly, smiling faces. The associate that helped us, Alex Smith, was helpful and not a pushy salesman. The Sleep IQ helped us find a mattress that suited both of our sleeping styles and needs. We ended up choosing the Serta Glidewell SPT in the Eastern King size. It has a medium firmness, which is perfect for both of us. Luckily, they had our mattress in stock and were able to deliver it to our house within 2 days. The delivery was quick and very easy. They set up the new box spring and mattress and took the old set with them. Ron Gonzalez was very patient and helpful in finding the Adjustable Bed with Split Cal King mattress of our dreams (Pun Intended). We decided to buy from Sit N Sleep over Costco because we didn't really want to go through the hassle of returning the bed if we didn't like it. By being able to physically lie in the variety of beds, this would decrease the chance of a mattress return. In my opinion, since beds are essentially investments for good sleep for at least 8 years, shopping for a bed is as important as shopping for a car! Ron is the type of salesman that my husband and I like....very low pressure (not like the "vultures" at car dealerships). The delivery guys arrived on time and put our bed together without any problems and took away our old mattress and box spring. We went in to "look" at mattresses last week near closing time and were greeted by Gil. I asked him about a mattress special I saw online, but he did not see it on his floor. He listened to what kind of bed I was looking for and also evaluated us on the test bed with all the sensors then proceeded to show us all the mattresses in our price range and firmness. I want to thank him again for being super patient as I went from bed to bed trying to evaluate which one I would purchase at closing time. The delivery was also exceptional. One star only! Yelp is posting 3 stars! My mattress was delivered and 4-5 inches too tall I had done my research and even visited at least three different SitNSleep stores I suppose if one doesn't have any problems then the high star ratings can be correct. But isn't it strange the "Not Recommended" ratings are all one star? So after measuring and checking everything I could think of, the mattress was too tall when delivered and I spoke to Michael Lucerno and questioned why I was having this problem. He could have cared less and I ended up speaking to the manager, a woman, who helped me. I had 8-10 visits from thier delivery before the correction was made. Many times the new parts were defective in which they were not attached or so loose the delivery people advised me not to accept it. This company has high ratings on Yelp and advertises quite a bit, but you know how helpful they are with service afterward or if you have problems. This company deserves less than one star. Yelp is posting 3 stars even though I am rating it one star! read more
