So we came here and checked it out. When you first walk in, you are greeted at the door by one of the consultants. They asked my mom questions about the type of bed she's looking for. She wasn't sure so she was being directed to this cool digital bed system where you answer simple questions and lay on the bed that will tell you what kind of bed is right for you. So the consultant took us over to several mattresses for my mom to try and she found the perfect one and within her budget. They will work with you and answer any questions you may have. I recently purchased a new foam memory mattress from Sit n Sleep. The sleep consultant was Iterling Soto. My self and my fiancé went there and he was very professional and helpful. We did the sleep test and both had the same result "soft". The purchase was completely haggle free and instead it was a very pleasant one. There was no pressure on the sales side which made this very comfortable. Besides our sleep consultant being helpful, knowledgeable and very respectful of our budget he made the transition go smoothly. He handled the return and exchange quickly and I was so grateful. He also followed up with an email about the bed and basically did the old school kind of help that you can't get online. Can't say enough good things about this place. I had thought about buying a mattress online, but In the end I just wasn't willing to roll the dice. I drove to this store because I assumed a name brand store would have a decent selection, and they did. I walked in and was greeted by Chris. Last thing I wanted was to be "sold to," but I thought well I'll tell him what I want and we'll see what happens. I told him I wanted a King mattress that was foam and under 1000. I knew my selection would be somewhat limited because of the $1000 limit, and he pointed me to 3 separate mattresses, none of which blew me away, but again, I knew my options were limited. After those 3, he showed me two that were last year's model and were on sale because they were moving older inventory out. The mattress was not a floor model nor an open box so this didn't bother me one bit. They offered free delivery and in the end I spent somewhere around $850. Even though I told him my limit was a $1000, he got me out the door for around $850 instead of trying to get every dollar he could out of me, and I appreciated that. They offered to sell me some sheets and pillows, but they were way out of the range of what I normally spend on those items so I passed. Next time I need a mattress, I will come back here. The mattress I bought is perfect, and I've had great sleep on it the few months I have owned it. read more

He introduced us to a new program called Bed Match...it takes about 3 minutes and you lay on a computerized bed and it tells you which firmness is right for your body type. Christian and Kevin were strong and fast workers. Unfortunately my apartment is on the third floor of the building and we have no elevators. The hallway up the stairs don't have much room to work with but they delivered the frame and mattress with excellence. She was informative, patient, and gave me several options to choose from. I didn't feel judged or pressured into anything. She was super sweet! I entered the Torrance Sit n' Sleep store after visiting two smaller alternative sleep stores in the area. I had some idea of what I wanted, but really wasn't sure what kind of mattress I really needed and was somewhat confused. I was helped by a Master in the sleep store business. Nate Bercier proceeded to guide me through what could have been mattress quandary. He asked me many questions and I gave him much feedback re: my sleep. It turns out, not only was he a wealth of information, he put me on an in-store machine to guide me in my mattress firmness needs, which re-affirmed what he and I had agreed on after much discussion. He knew all of the nuances of the particular mattress I had in mind. I purchased on the spot from Nate on the same day I went to the store after visiting other un-named stores in the area. I am now sleeping on an excellent mattress suited to my health needs, body requirements, finances, and knowing that a person of Nate's quality, expertise and professionalism had guided me through this most difficult process. He is just plain nice. All of this bed searching was completed on a very tight budget, in a timely manner and with my many health concerns in mind. Delivery was completed efficiently and courteously within 1 - 2 days. After an extensive search Sit 'n Sleep was by far the best deal in town. Having grown up listening to the Sit 'n Sleep jingle I finally decided to stop by and boy am I glad I did. On entry into the store I was warmly greeted by Doug Van Ruden, the store manager, who was all ears to my wants and needs in a mattress. After a storm of questions we had narrowed down the mattress I wanted, but needed the opinion of my other half before making the final purchase. Two hours later I was back in his showroom asking him to repeat half of what he had already told me to my significant other and he did so with so much patience. Ling Ling is the King! Came in to buy a new mattress, since my current mattress makes my body angry.Haha! Anyways, this was our 4th stop on our mattress hunt and sure enough it was our last. We were greeted by Ling, who has to be the most patient person on the face of the planet. He shuffled us around the large showroom consistently asking us our needs/ wants and offered us suggestions while explaining the different options available. We pretty much tried ever single mattress in the store. Ling encouraged us to lay in the beds we liked for extended periods of time to ensure that they weren't just comfortable in the interim. Not gonna lie... We may have dozed off a few dozen time. LOL He was very patient and we felt well taken care of. He was very helpful without being pushy or annoying. So glad he was the one assisting us on our "mattress tour." Throughout the process I slowly started to realized that mattress shopping is a lot like dating... There are a LOT of wrongs until you meet Mr./Ms. Right. And we were lucky enough to find her! Her name is Desiree (that's the name of the mattress) and she is so perfect! I don't normally shop online, but due to Coronavirus I had no other option. I like to touch whatever I'm buying. It was around 8am Saturday April 25,2020 I was looking for a bed of my guest room. I started my quest on other websites and didn't see what I was looking for until I looked on Sit 'n Sleep website. I saw a mattress I was interested in. But I wasn't sure if it would work on an adjustable frame in the future. So I sent a chat text from the website. I kept looking at other mattresses while waiting. I saw another mattress that I liked better. Within 10 minutes I had a response. The first was not for an adjustable frame. So I asked about the second mattress. I received and immediate response that it the second one was. So I entered my order online and mad the purchase. I sent the text to advised I made the purchase online but I can't get it right away. I asked is there anything that can be done to expedite my order. BTW, the person that I was texting name was Drew. Free unfortunately advised me the box mattress won't be available for a week. But said he had a 5" box mattress available. I said if you throw in a frame I will take it. He said no problem. It can be delivered Tuesday. I asked if I can pick it up. He responded quickly and said yes. He had to notify the warehouse. Within 10 minutes he texted me back with the warehouse address and order number to provide to the guard and the warehouse worker. And also advised we needed to wear mask to enter the property to protect us and their employees. The guard and warehouse worker were professional and nice. So the gf and I paid sit n sleep a visit on Friday September 1st just to browse around and see what type of Labor Day sales they had. We weren't really expecting to buy since we wanted to see what other places were offering. Anyways as soon as we stepped in Michael Smith greeted us and asked if we knew what type of mattress we were looking for. We were clueless so he took the liberty to educate us a bit on the differences of mattresses and placed us on this contraption that helps determine the firmness we each needed. The girlfriend and I were both in different scales. I always loved sleeping on soft beds, however, apparently I was in need of a very firm mattress while the gf needed something a little less firm. So from that point Michael started showing us all the types of mattresses at different price points that could best suit our need as far as firmness goes. He explained the different types of technology each mattress had and the over all benefits. After trying out different mattresses we settled on a mattress that was just perfect for the girlfriend and good enough for me. Michael made the whole sales process extremely easy and fun. Delivery and set up was a breeze. They took our old mattresses as well. After a week of sleeping on our mattress I can say I've had the best sleep in years.
