I went to Sit n Sleep and from the moment I walked in, I had a great experience. The assistant manager Rafael, helped me and my husband, along with our daughter, get the right bed just for us. I went to a couple of mattresses stores before coming here. I had no service at one place, and the other one had limited selections. It's a huge store at Sit 'n Sleep, and they have tons of selection here. I was able to find one that I liked and fit my budget. Fred is a great help. I told him what I was looking for, and he showed me some selections and had some great deals. Total time spent in store was probably 15 min before I made the purchase. They also have free delivery, even to far places. As the other reviewers, I am impressed and happy with the deal I got. I'll be back to look for another mattress for my sister soon. read more

Very friendly staff that spent over an hour with us (not waiting on our side the whole time but bouncing back and forth between us and several other couples). We are so unhappy with our $ 4,000 bed we want to throw it out the door. We tested the bed in the store and the firm one felt great. They said it was "A little broken in from being a floor model". What a misleading statement that was. Now we are stuck with this bed that feels like we're sleeping in a field of rocks and we CANNOT EXCHANGE IT FOR A MONTH. This is such a crock of baloney I can't believe it. We bought a pillow top mattress pad that STILL wasn't thick enough for the bed of rocks. Luckily my husband got ingenious and cut 4 inch foam rubber for it so we can even lie on it and watch TV. The other ripoff was the sheets they swore were top quality and we had to have them. They feel like the cheapest, hot sheets I've ever had. And did I mention the bed protector that crinkles all night and feels like you're sleeping on a garbage sack? Just horrified and so disappointed and angry about this huge expense and now they won't let us trade it so we can get some sleep! Larry, I always liked you but this is beyond bad business. read more

No pressure at all with shopping around and they have SO many selections!!! I was looking for a twin-sized mattress and all of their selections were available in twin sizes. I didn't know where to begin! Worst thing about coming here is the location. Coming from south Hawthorne, you'd have to make a U-turn as there is no where to make a left into their parking lot. It's just around a turn, too, so go slow when you approach the bridge of 190th. Take caution when leaving the parking lot!!! Everyone travels fast on Hawthorne! This purchase would not have taken place without the professional, knowledgeable and fabulous integrity of Justin, our salesperson. Justin was not pushy, he was able to answer all our questions without hesitation and Justin allowed us the time to try out various mattresses without the constant sales pitch which I find so annoying. I came into the store in the evening looking desperately for a pillow. My pillow was worn to a stump. When I got there, the man who helped me was ridiculously helpful :) He helped me choose the right pillow by having me try out pillows according to what I like, what mattess I already have, and having me actually lay on them all on a bed. They also put down something to keep the sample pillows clean, which is great in my book. They were great! My pillow is amazing. A bit expensive for a student, but worth it! When I went into the store I was not sure if I would purchase or just find a mattress to ponder in days to come. Mattresses have come a long way from where they were and mine was over a decade old. Being retired on a fixed income, cash is my normal paying option, so I wanted to stay within that range, cash or credit. As it was my credit was approved with easy payment terms and I was able to stay within my cash budget for a fantastic mattress, frame and box spring. Kevin is the salesman who gave me both service and a comfort zone so that I could decide for myself, no pressure but he was there for all my questions. I won't wait ten years before I purchase again and would suggest a good mattress would be a great gift for parents or senior relatives, even a cranky teen. read more

I have had a great experience at the store. Shell was very knowledgeable and helpful but did not put the hard-sell on me, which I really appreciated. He worked with my budget to help me afford the bed I really wanted and it has been wonderful! It's the first time in many months that I have woken up without a backache. The people who delivered my adjustable bed and mattress were also great. They were very efficient and professional. I decided I wanted my bed adjusted after a couple of days and called the office.
