One of the best bakeries in Bellaire. They always have the best snacks, cakes, drinks, cookies. Etc! We went when it was "closed" but they were so packed I think they stayed late until they sold out! Would def recommend coming to get your sweet tooth fix.

A quick visit around the Chinatown area and I was going on a bit of a unique day. It was Mid Autumn festival but surprisingly not very busy like I expected. I decided a few places and wanted to stop in Six Ping. I know there are a few locations but this is the one close by Friendship bbq. I was looking for mooncakes to celebrate the holiday and I have usually visited the location close by Viet Hoa often. But this would be my 2nd location if I am not there. Their selection is similar but with a few other items. There was a special of buy 2 get 1 free for mooncakes that day. I personally like the red bean and the other traditional flavors like mung bean or lotus are nice as well. Taro is another one I like to pick too. But additional this is my bakery for individual wrapped pineapple cake and selections of bread. The ham & cheese is a quick bite for me on the go. With the bread being fluffy and soft. Red bean and taro are usually my staple picks. But I never have any issues with any of the offerings. Overall I enjoy visits to Six Ping. The bakery is nice and simplistic in feel. It gives me a local neighborhood bakery vibe. I did pick the red bean turtle bread, ham & cheese, and took advantage on the mooncakes special. Personally for me, when in Chinatown, cash is king. You do get a bit of a discount off the total. Six Ping is straightforward in its approach: local, solid staple options, and custom cake orders. Meets all the requirements in my book.

I mean. So much choices of fresh baked goodies. Conveniently located in the Asian mall where we ate, and shop. I tried different pastry choices and they were good! Service was quick and efficient. Clean and organized.

Many delicious variety of bread and pastries I got to try some of them and they were all good! Literally, I don't know the name of that soft bread but the one I had was green soft somehow chewy bread! Very yummy And I had a custard bread as well! Many more amazing things to try out here! Come visit for those who love bread and pastries! Cheers

This place delivers sweet treats without overpowering you with sugar! We came here for dessert and every piece of dessert we had was light and satisfying! We even tried the ube gelato and loved it! Quick and friendly service! Not a really a sit down place so make sure you take it to go. Chill vibe that's enough to meet the needs. We even bought a piece for my aunt and she loved it!

Stumbled apon this bakery in the plaza while in town. Came in around 9 pm but on Yelp it said closed at 6 pm so not sure what's that about. It's a small bakery with a varieties of pastries such as sponge bread, hotdog buns, taro buns, cookies and cakes. When you walk inside, the left side along the walls have trays of buns laying around with the price and name of the buns. I grabbed coffee and pandan sponge bread. Then as I was checking out the lady said buy 2 pastries get 1 free on the counter next to her. I think because it was towards the end of the night she is trying to get rid of everything. So I grabbed 2 taro bread and 1 sweet bread. She got me alright. I only spent $10.50 on 5 items. I ate some of the pandan sponge bread. It was so light, soft and fluffy. Just amount of sweetness. Yes I would come back here again!

Literally my go to place for all my cakes. This time I was left amazed. It was my sisters birthday and there's this type of cake design going viral. I didn't know who could make me a cake like that and all I had to do was show them a pic and they got to work. It was so pretty and tasted so yummy. Thank you Six Ping! (the Kirby center wasn't included)

Cute little bakery with some of the sweetest and nastiest bread I've ever tried lol My favorite is the vanilla cake with the blueberry and raisin. The service wasn't friendly at all, however worth the try. I would come back to try much more for sure.

Friendly lady, Sue was so nice and helpful! This is the only kind of bread that I like there. The price is not cheap but the only place that I can get this type of bread.

Chinese style pastries are always a win in my book. This bakery has all your wants and desires - even though I'm not a fan of durian, they have a lot of durian desserts. Everything is individually wrapped and easy to see and pick from. Very clean shop.

Wildly incredible selection of all kinds of pastries. We we're visiting the Houston area and wanted to seek out some delicious dim sum and noodles and came across this impressive little bakery in Chinatown. We left there with coffee cream cookies, custard filled deliciousness of all kinds, some really tasty blueberry milk pudding and chrysanthemum tea. You can get a lot of bang for your buck here and it makes a wonderful gift addition for fellow carboholics like me! Go here support this place. Its clean, friendly and delicious!

I love six ping their bread is soo good and their cake is somehow even better! I usually get the mango cake and it is covered with mango and topped with fresh fruit. The inside has 3 layers and the two layers between have even more mango and flan. It also doesn't have too much frosting which I think is a good things and it isn't too sweet! I always get this cake for birthdays and it is a crowd favorite!

Any time I visit Houston, I make sure to visit Six Ping and get some bread. This time I walked in on a gold mine. The pandan coconut bread was out of this world. So tender and soft with a perfect balance in flavor. They also had a lot of toast options that looked amazing and I went with the taro toast. The bread is unbelievably soft and the swirls of taro were delicious. I would highly recommend buying any of their toast varieties!! And always always get some buoluo bread (sometimes referred to as pineapple bread). This has always been my favorite and the buoluo at six ping is some of the best I've had. Love this place, I will most definitely be back.

The butter croissant was crispy and tasted good but wasn't as good as some of the ones I've tried elsewhere more recently. My boyfriend's croissant was much too soft (no flakiness) and it was clear it had been made upon opening and just left to sit. They were also out of ice so that meant none of their iced drinks (iced coffee too) were available. For a positive though, the staff was friendly and the inside was clean. All in all, it was OK but I'll likely stick with other bakeries.

Inside you will also find French pastries, coffees and teas, gelato, milkshakes, sandwiches and macaroons. I felt the most interesting items were the French pastries as they are cute and tasty as well. Also, they plate the pastries nicely when you dine in as an added bonus. I tried the Chocolate Royale and the Ruby. Chocolate Royale - a petit chocolate mouse slice with flat chocolate panels along the sides. It is delicate and tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, this is definitely up your alley. Ruby - visually this looks like a strawberry Hershey kiss, with red powder on the exterior and a top piece of foil to resemble foil on the wrapper of a hershey kiss. Inside, it's filled with a strawberry cream and has a chocolate base. I just wish there was more chocolate in this one. They have plenty of seating inside as well as along the sidewalk. Inside you have the more fancy tables, whereas outside, they're more weather resistant and not as upscale in appearance. The soft drinks to drink along with your sweets are in a cold case along the hotel side of the space and you just take them to the register as you order. One of the most surprising things when you come here are the relatively affordable prices as you might expect them to be more for being a coffee shop attached to a 5-star hotel with a helipad.

What's nudged this place up to 5 stars for me is they have really improved their coffee game, specifically their quality of cappuccino's. Previously it seemed more of latte, but now to me its a legit Capp. Their choice of pastries hasn't changed, which gives you a good assortment of choices and they have added an additional barista or server which also is a nice touch for service. The only niggling items, parking can be tough, so you'll have to either walk a block or be quick to find a place close by.
