We have been to Sixty Vines a few times now and usually have been pleased with food and service. It's a very lively place and hard to get a table on Friday nights if you don't have a reservation ahead. They have a good menu with lots of shareables. Great selection of wines and cocktails. Decibel level is high because of the crowd but they kept the music level low which helps. Bar is a bit slow last night which was a Friday with several big parties there. Pricing is decent and service is friendly. We were very happy with our entrees and most of our appetizers. Kids pasta was undercooked, and the crispy zucchinis were meh! read more

First time walk in on 8/31, no reservation, in the evening with my family to celebrate my sisters birthday. No issue getting a table. Was served by Mike while he was training someone, i think Anthony. Excellent service by both gents. Food came out quick and tasted great. For apps we had the Albodigas and Truffle Fries. Couple of us had the pizzas (Butchers and Shrimp & Bacon) and the ladys had the Rigatoni and Cabernet Burger. No complaints, food was great, would definitely go back. Went for brunch to try since never been there before. The decor is really nice and the restaurant is roomy. Had higher hopes for the place. We ordered a kids meal, the cake that kind of looks like french toast and their base breakfast plate. Also got a cafe americano but that was because their regular coffee machine is busted (its a sin to not have regular coffee for breakfast!). The kids meal was fine. My son said his pasta with red sauce and chicken was good. I tried the chicken and thought it was pretty good. The base breakfast plate was a little bit more mixed. The chicken sausage patties were a bit strong for me in the anise and fennel taste. I liked the hash brown though it reminded me more of a latke; my wife thought them meh. The eggs were well made. The almond cake french toast was tasty but heavy as the syrup that was soaked into the cake was thick and sweet. While I liked the taste I felt it made the dish too one note. Service was ok, except for the 10min where all the waitstaff vanished for what I can only guess was some kind of shift change staff meeting. Ended up having to flag down a busboy to get some condiments. The cafe americano was tasty and I liked the chocolate cookie that came with it. I would like regular sugar or perhaps splenda, as I am not a big fan of stevia or turbinado sugar. They need a more basic breakfast for those that are not as into the highly seasoned chicken sausage and the hash brown cake/latke thing. This place is great if you love wine! As the name states 60+ wines on tap. It's like visiting wine county without leaving MoCo. We ordered many of the shareable plates and IMO the most flavorful were the Albondigas (beef meatballs), the mussels and bacon-wrapped dates. My dish was the best IMO of the table. Basically, you come here for the wine, not the food, which was mediocre outside of the delicious shareable options. The ambiance was low and dark-- dimmed even more after happy hour. The chairs from the booths to the bars to the tables were all comfortable and wide with supportive backs, which makes you want to sink in with more lovely wine. The downsides: Margherita pizza was too salty, we experienced an unexpected "ingredient " found in the baratta, the pork pasta dish was bland and flavorless. The steak was not well seasoned and not tender, but this isn't a steakhouse. The overall I had mixed feelings as the service was courteous including the host to the manager (who was apologetic over the food contaminant), and the food runners. However, our server was snarky, pretentious-- even for a wine bar-- and they had no sense of personal boundaries. Often leaning on the table, touching my uncle's shoulder without permission and rudely judging the one person who ordered beer instead of wine at the table. Between his actions, the contaminate (not being pepper) and the bland food for an exorbitant pricing I don't intend to return. However, if you love wine you should try it for yourself, but I would suggest you fill food craving elsewhere. I would rate 2.5 if I could just of the food. read more

Made it into Sixty Vines today and I was honestly pleased - right from the start staff was really attentive, kind and flexible. Atmosphere wise the tables, colors, decor all mesh well too - you truly forget it was Pour House before! Food wise we started with the Burrata - fresh taste but the single thick slice of bread felt soggy at some points.. maybe could have been thinner for crunch and easier to share. Plate wise I got the double Cabernet burger - cooked perfectly & tasted wonderful but similarly to the Burrata I felt my bun quickly became soggy and the structure of the burger felt a bit more messy than I anticipated. The slide of potatoes was GREAT, salty and crunchy. My friend got the Atlantic salmon - arrived a bit on the lukewarm side but flavors from the tomatoes and garlic were great. Portioned good for a filling but not overwhelming lunch. Finally we finished with the cheesecake and this is where the staff really payed attention to detail and showed such kindness by acknowledging my reservation notes + celebrating my graduation with a dessert plate. Wine recommendations by our server definitely left us happy too! The Honig was a beautiful white to have with my lunch. I would like to return later as they continue to improve and try other menu items + hopefully a wine flight in the future. Our server made suggestions and let us sample a few wines before making our decision. I was lucky to have the opportunity to attend their VIP event before they officially opened and I was very impressed. They had cocktails ready to serve and the bartenders were great and very knowledgeable. They had so much food to try. I was excited to come back once they had opened up, and what better time than to celebrate a friend's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time for 6pm on a Saturday. We were seated and greeted immediately by Chris, who was super attentive, funny, and provided amazing service. Sixty Vines is definitely a great experience for wine lovers. Instead of beer on tap, like other local bars, we get plenty of wine options on tap, which is such a cool experience. You can do flights and/or order different sizes of the wine you'd like. My favorites were the honig and malbec. The honig is a light white wine, with the perfect subtle hint of sweetness. My husband and I ordered the meatballs and fig and prosciutto pizza to share. I enjoyed everything. The meatballs were delicious and the pizza was a perfect match to my wine. My husband wasnt a fan of the pizza, but next time he can try something else. He also had the gingerbread old fashioned, which he enjoyed, but it was a tad sweet. I love the set up and spaces. The bathrooms are well kept and clean as well. Sixty vine took over what used to be pour house in crowne. Large space, loud/lively environment. The wines are great. They let you sample as many as you like. The food has been great but last time I went I got the filet mignon and it was overcooked and dry. Their pork chop is flavored nicely and a nice thick cut. We went for brunch on Sunday. I ordered the Tuscan Eggs Benedict. My order arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. The eggs were cooked perfectly but arrived cold. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and good. The prosciutto was fresh and tasty. We also indulged in the Mimosa Bar where you get a nice bottle of Prosecco and multiple trips to the bar of fixings which included lots of berries, fruits, and juices. Made a reservation yesterday at Sixty Vines, which just opened in Downtown Crown a month ago. The place wasn't packed at all. It has a classy, upscale vibe that will do great once the word gets out. We had a great server, a tall man whose name I can't remember. He was kind and helped give great recommendations to the 4 of us. He mentioned the flight of wines but I ended up ordering a cocktail, the First Crush Martini . It was amazing. If you like sweet cocktails, you would enjoy it. Some of the ladies ordered wine which they seemed to enjoy. We ordered some shared plates: the house salad, truffle fries, and burrata. The fries were fried and cut very different than what I have ever had before. The burrata and salad were winners for us. I would definitely come back. My friend and I decided to dine at Sixty Vines after hearing great reviews. We dined on a Friday evening and it was packed! They have a happy hour at the bar from 3PM-6PM, with discounts on some drinks and starters. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and had a nice ambiance. After about 7:45PM, they started dimming the lights, making it feel more intimate. We were impressed by both our drinks. We ordered the Frozen Aperol Spritz and Frosé, which were perfectly sweet. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the Fried Chicken and Caviar starter. I noticed the caviar on the chicken pieces was minimal, but wasn't sure if this was the standard. After going home, I looked at other pictures from Sixty Vines and noticed that the caviar on our starter was not even the amount of a spoonful on one piece of chicken. For $19, I expected a decent amount of caviar to complement the chicken. Without it, the chicken lacked flavor depth and saltiness. The chicken was crispy. However, the breading came off very easily. For entrees, we both ordered the Double Cabernet Burger. Was it anything special? Unfortunately, no. The caramelized onions and the sauce, made the burger extremely soggy to the point where the buns were just wet and fell off. I would've loved a textural component because without it, the burger was mushy. I enjoyed the fingerling potatoes though! The service and ambiance were things that stood out most to me about Sixty Vines. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed by the dishes we ordered and didn't feel like anything stood out. read more

I love this restaurant, the food and drinks are incredible. My review is based on 3 visits. The first time I came to visit I ordered a pizza, fries a burger and a cocktail "FIRST CRUSH MARTINI" which includes: Grey Goose Vodka, Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc, St.Germain Elderflower, lemon, sugar coated white grapes. I fell in love with the drink especially the grapes. When I went there the second time, I ordered a cake and the same drink. The bartender brought me the drink and it did not have the sugar coated white grapes. I didn't like that she didn't mention it and just served me the drink as is. I had to ask why not the grapes? She said the person who handles sugaring the grapes forgot to do them. Okay? Then waited on my cake and it never came, I had already signed the check and paid and no cake. Then was told they ran out but we made you this cake. I didn't ask for a different one so why not tell me your kitchen didn't have it and why not refund me? Third time I came. I ordered the same cocktail and again the bartender didn't put the sugar coated white grapes. I am so confused if the drink has changed and does not come with it. Why would I pay full price for an item that isn't complete? Overall I love the hostesses in the front they are friendly and the food is great. The restauraunt is well decorated and well lit for day time but also at night. A bit pricey but worth a date night. Unfortunately I will not be ordering dessert here or cocktails again but will come back for the food one day. read more

Decided to try Sixty Vines for a date night. This location occupies the old Pour House location in Downtown Crown. The interior is enormous, but I appreciate the decor, definitely has a charm of a small estate winery. Service was quick, and very friendly, our waitress gave me some recommendations for wine pairings with the food options, they even do flights. Admittedly I am not much a wine person, but the selection seemed good, if not quite as expansive as I was hoping. We were a bit disappointed in the food however, and I hope its just because this is a new location and the kitchen is still working out the recipes. The food isn't bad, but it doesn't standout either. The rainbow trout I ordered tasted a bit over salted, and the Wood grilled Bavette Steak, while fine, felt like something I could get at an Outback Steakhouse. If they can improve the menu, I will come back here, as it is, I think this place is best for a flight of wine and some sharables. A mixed bag. They were out of the trout and had only one gluten free pizza crust left when we visited on a recent weekend evening. The pan roasted chicken was flavorful but sat desolately on a bed of chickpeas that looked and tasted like they came out of a can. Who came up with that combo? The mushroom pizza would have benefited from some cheese. The waiter seemed out of it. Half of our drinks arrived within a few minutes. When I asked him about the remaining ones, he said that the bar was backed up. Why serve part of an order? He then told us that the bar somehow lost the other half of the order :0 The manager kindly comped us the drinks. The entrees did not all come out at the same time. When I asked the waiter for a printout of the receipt he gave me one for another party. I'd probably give it another chance but if the service doesn't improve I won't return after that. We had them on our must try list. So on the night before Valentines I call them a few minutes after they open. Paul picks up. He was honest that they were pretty packed that night but he found a table for us for 6pm. We walk in & a group of friendly young ladies greeted us almost in unison. Asking how we were. Within 2 minutes we're walking to our table. The feel of the place was warm and cozy We were greeted by who we now dub as the coolest waiter-- Jordan. A sign of a great waiter is if you want to invite them to sit with you. Jordan was patient, honest, and friendly. We are rum, tequila, & bourbon people. We were prepared to do one of those until Jordan said "we are the largest wine tap in the world." We said "oh" well you can't come to that & not do wine. Except I'm not a sophisticated wine drinker. Jordan said "oh don't you worry we do wine well." So we're telling him about our taste preferences & he's showing us all different types & then he said "we can do a flight so you can try more than one." So we get a flight that included a sweet red for me that isn't on the menu but apart of one of their signature drinks. Shiraz I think is the same. Our four wine flight had that, a Spanish red, a rosè, and a woman owned champagne that I forget the name of. The drinks came & they were gorgeous. But the taste? As I'm typing this I'm forgetting I was supposed to buy a bottle of the Shiraz. Ok now. The food. THEE FREAKING FOOD. We did a charcuterie and ordered what felt like most of the sharing plates. Burratta , Truffle fries, Fried Chicken Caviar, and Olives. Food was so good it made me cuss. The truffle fries-- ok so when they came out the were thick. My husband said "they look like Yucca" I was like wow they cut the potatoes thick that's cool. We bit them! I'll have you know some genius (who deserves to be hugged in perpetuity) said "we are going to thinly slice potatoes and stack them then fry them so it's like a crispy, soft, flavor bomb of starch and truffle. I am thinking about those damn potatoes as I type this. The burrata. I'm not sure if the kitchen team is singing to the grill but the char of the bread? The bread literally told the life story of that damn grill because it was soft, smoky, and like the perfect little kick to dance with the burrata and the tomatoes! The pièce de rèsistance--- the fried chicken caviar. I thought since it was a sharing plate they would bring out nuggets with a dash of crème fraiche and a pearl of caviar. Nope. These fine people (who all deserve riches in every lifetime) gave us 4 whole chicken thighs! Based on the volume of food and libations at our table the chances of ordering an entree became slim because I was still swimming in potatoes while popping those citrus olives like tic tacs. Now back to the chicken thighs which while it seems simple can be a tall order because there's crispy coating to tend to while not drying out the meat and not creating some weird soggy transition between crispy and moist. Well let me tell the internet something-- Sixty Vines said hold my beer (or better yet my wine glass). It was crispy. The coating had flavor. It wasn't some crispy cloud of flour with absolutely no umami. The flour wore umami earrings to dinner and it was AMAZING. How does one bite a chicken and the moisture and bounce of that chicken deliver such a performance?! The irony is when they brought the chicken out I made a face when they went to put it on the table. I said "this is gastro gratitude on my face because that chicken looks good" Jordan comes by to check on us. I'm telling him about how this food was amazing and "shout out to Paul for finding us a table this morning" Minutes later this unassuming guy walks over to check on us. We're bragging about Paul getting us a table on such short notice and how the chicken and truffle changed the game. It was Paul. So I proceed to yell in between bites some affirming expletives to Paul to pass along to whoever is standing at the stove in the kitchen. He told me someone name Jada made the chicken. I hope Jada lives a long and happy life bc Jada knows their way around a damn kitchen. Jada was in my prayers the night I left that restaurant. My husband chose the Basque Cheesecake which I was prepared to be underwhelmed by because cheesecake is my husband and I love language. Our wedding cake was a cheesecake- I have high standards. The best cheesecake known to the North American man are at Table Six in OH, Cotton Blues in MS, and a butternut cheesecake from what used to be Charley Prime. Well Sixty Vines heard me doubting them in my head and said yet again "hold my wine glass" and they brought out a cheesecake that I'm pretty sure I have to watch around my husband because he made some sounds as he ate it. This most recent time our waitress Gabby went above and beyond - anticipated our every need, offered recommendations in a non-intrusive manner. The level of service was what you'd expect from a much pricier establishment. We split the Burrata appetizer which was perfect for two without filling us up. I had two additional small plates - the Spanish meatballs and crispy zucchini - both prepared just right and so tasty! I especially appreciate the extensive wine list that includes a wide variety of offerings that won't break the bank - very rare experience - and the ability to choose from several pour sizes.
