Finally found some great food on Maui! This place is truly awesome, every bite of my food was like a work of art and the passion and love behind my dish was all there. Even the sweet lady who took my order and took care of me, looked me in my eyes and smiled, she was the highlight of my day other than the food, great service and kindness is rare and even though she was super busy she took the time to talk and update every customer. The crab eggs Benedict is something I usually avoid because I like fresh high quality crab. Whatever they used was quite tasty, and the whole dish was yum. Even the potatoes, every bit was seasoned well. The crepes for the price well that's a bit much, but it was fun and tasty nonetheless, I can't really complain when everything truly smacked. This is my new spot for sure, I'm going back for more. Btw I drove 40 mins to try this spot, I'll do it again next weekend haha read more

My daughter and I stopped by after court to eat brunch. She had a loco moco and I ordered the monte cristo sandwich. My daughter said the loco moco was good. My sandwich was a little dry but tasty! The fries were crispy and worth coming back for! My tummy was tender this morning so I couldn't really enjoy my food, but ambience was really nice and our server was really warm and friendly. There were a lot of items I wanted to try so I will definitely come again when I return to Maui to try more selections. read more

Yikes. The worst experience I've had in a long time. Had to wait a day to decompress before writing this. We were visiting Maui for the long weekend and my coworker who's from Maui recommended SixtyTwo MarcKet for their cool concept of changing their menu every 62 days. I decided to make a reservation online on Sunday at 12:30 PM for three. Realizing while driving that they close at 1:00 PM, we got there around 12:15 PM so we could have a little more time and hopefully leave around closing. We checked in with host #1 and she went downstairs to check if our table was ready. While this happened, we saw host #2 seat a party of two. When host #1 came back, she asked if we spoke with host #2 and said no. She gave a confused look and went to find host #2. I saw both hosts conversing and looked like host #2 gave our table away to the party of two. Host #2 came back and said she's getting our table ready. She ended up cleaning and putting us in the corner by the window where that small square table was meant for TWO. 2/4 sides of the table is blocked by the wall so obviously the two remaining sides can fit one chair each. She squeezed the high chair at the corner of the table in between the two chairs when clearly this table was meant for two, not two seats and one high chair. Again, our reservation was made for three. We were seated at 12:25 PM. The waitress did not come to us until 12:35 PM where she only gave us two waters without really saying anything. My toddler is fully capable of drinking from a cup and was not included. She didn't even offer to get him water. The waitress went to the table next to us with two adults, two kids, and one baby and felt like she was more friendly to them and made more conversation. She gave the kids water in cups with a lid and straw. She came back at 12:40 PM and started off with "What do you want to order?" We ordered the Mini Banana Pancakes and Short Rib Benedict. After she took our order, she didn't come back to our table once until the pancakes came.....at 1:25 PM. We felt invisible the whole time before that. The Benedict came at 1:35 PM. After when she brought the Benedict, only then did she notice that we needed more water and came back and ONLY REFILLED MY HUSBANDS CUP. My cup also needed a refill I never got. She poured so fast and walked away without asking if I wanted more water too. The weather did not make the situation any better as it was over 90 degrees with no AC, sitting by the window where the heat is radiating through and we were all starving during this ridiculous wait time. The experience was so miserable we pretty much had to eat in 15 minutes and be out by 1:55 PM. Oh, but they gave the check to us real quick at 1:40 PM. I didn't even know the name of the waitress because she never introduced herself. I found out her name only after receiving the check. It was Eryn. Double thumbs down and minus 1000 points for you. Despite them being so busy where they could not handle the demand, why were they still taking people after 1:00 PM? I even heard the waitress telling the family next to us that it's always crazy on Sundays and they only had two cooks.. Why do you not accommodate and staff up if you already know the trend is chaos on Sundays and still take in more people after 1?? . We honestly felt like we were shoved in the corner and did not have the same service as larger groups had. Were they favored because our bill would probably be smaller, meaning smaller tip compared to the larger groups? I even heard the waitress comp the salmon bites to the family next to us for long wait and inconvenience. All we got was the check to pay, an unemotional apology for the wait, zero acknowledgment between 12:40 PM - 1:25 PM, and no water for me. Trying to put this disappointing experience aside, I think the food was alright. The $28 Short Rib Benedict had a cornbread replacing the typical English muffin but was kind of dry and hard to eat all together since cornbread falls apart easily. Probably not worth the price for the thin pieces of meat it had on top. The Mini Banana Pancakes tasted like normal pancakes for $15. So disappointed especially when I was really looking forward to this experience on our last day. I would not recommend coming here if you have to go through that same experience as us, especially if you have little keiki. Enjoyed a great breakfast on Valentines Day. My wonderful BF chose the spot, this is our second time here. Super cute off of market street in Wailuku. There was a little line but was sat quickly. we ordered, the dubai chocolate crepes, cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich, and kalua pork loco moco with 2 side orders if portuguese sausage and a side of bacon. This place would usually get a 5 star review from me. We've been going for a few years and it has been consistently excellent. But not today. This is a heads up for Mark, the Chef...if you've got a new cook, he needs to uplevel his game. The benedict special has always been one of our go-to breakfasts. the cornbread, eggs, hollandaise and potatoes were all good, but the special protein was short ribs which were papery, dry and unseasoned. My partner usually asks for a side of spinach to balance all the starch and they were out of spinach by 11:30. The hash is my go to, and while it's always a little small for me, it's been consistently delicious, And I usually get more than enough food by cleaning up after my wife with her abundant benedict dish. Today's pork, taro, sweet potato and cabbage hash was watery and also under-flavored. I ordered a salad which was tasty but minimal for $19: A small bowl of greens, 4 pieces of shrimp, with a few (under)charred corn kernels. Oh, and the orange juice tasted like it came from a can. For a place that's all about fresh and local, you'd be better off not having it on the menu if it tastes like that. What a great place to get breakfast! We had the quiche of the day, fried chicken sandwich, savory crepe & papaya/yogurt bowl (can't remember what it was called). The chicken sando had a huge piece of chicken on it that was crispy & flavorful but not greasy, the quiche was yummy & included tasty papaya on the side & the papaya bowl was delicious (the papaya was so flavorful!). The crepes were a disappointment as the crepe "dough" was thick like a pot sticker & the filling lacked much taste or creaminess. One of my friends highly recommended this place for THE BEST Loco moco on the island. Tucked in the heart of Wailuku, we were able to find parking just steps away! Don't let the traffic scare you, most ppl are just passing through. Upon entry, we were seated right away next to the bright windows lined with various potted plants, which lends to the farmhouse ambiance. Of course, the only thing I ordered was the Maui Loco Moco with Kahlua Pork. This was delicious! The combination of the mushroom demi glace with the perfectly cooked beef and pork was divine! We arrived for a late breakfast about 10 AM on a Monday. This is the second year we've come here and it was again fantastic. We had a great short rib Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. The other dish that was ordered was the beef bourguignon from the lunch menu. It rivaled the best restaurants in Paris. The restaurant is open and airy and the staff was extremely friendly. Seemed like maybe they were going for a smash burger style or something but had no idea what they were doing. Moco Mondays should definitely be a thing especially when the gravy is a richly flavored wild mushroom demi glaze and it's over spam fried rice. I enjoyed a perfectly seared fresh caught ahi moco and if you don't want one of the choice of mocos, you can do Mahi Monday with the equally delicious mahi mahi fish tacos served in ube tortillas. With an ever-changing seasonal menu, I am excited to return for my birthday to try more items, although I definitely see one of the Moco's in my future. Great find! We had to drop off a car for minor repairs in Wailuku and decided to walk down to have breakfast. Cute spot. Not very busy at 9:45 but after that the crowd came. I had the cheddar biscuit sandwich and my husband had the stuffed brioche French toast. Both were delicious. The cheddar biscuit sandwich had scrambled eggs, bacon, spinach and some mango jam. A touch of hot sauce and it was off the chart. The French toast was perfectly cooked. I'm not normally a French toast fan but I stole several bites. Really decadent. Almost like bread pudding. We love it so much we came here twice in a week we were in Maui. I'm so happy we found this little breakfast and brunch spot in Wailuku. They are very busy during breakfast so it's better to make reservations online. It's cute and has such a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere . Food is delicious and they use all fresh ingredients. We ordered Mochi Taro pancakes, Egg benedict and another time we came back for brunch we tried hibachi salmon salad. Food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. They are short of staff ( currently) but they tried to tend to you the best they could. They are friendly and helpful and always carry a nice smile. Such a cute local spot with delicious food, using fresh ingredients! We opted for salads and the ingredients were very fresh and flavorful. The fish was cooked perfectly on both our salads (one with opakapaka and the other with a crisped salmon). Next time I'm trying their cheddar biscuit sandwich! We loved this spot so much, we showed up again a couple days later, driving all the way over from Kihei. Tried ahi and mahi tacos: outstanding, along with the unique taro tortillas and wonderfully fresh pineapple salsa. Finally, someone knows how to cook, but not overcook fish! Our group also had the special quiche, which got an A rating. The only mild miss may have been the Taro Burger on taro bun, which was rated a B for being a little bland. We also sent other groups of family and friends after our first visit and they raved as well. Erin, our server, was extremely competent and friendly. She knew everything there was to know about the menu and handled special requests perfectly. She is a great ambassador for the restaurant (and for Maui, as well). I was super hungry so I ate it thinking maybe it was meant to be room temp??? Asked the waitress who said they premake it and the kitchen just didn't warm it enough. I had already eaten half of it but no offer to heat or reduce bill. The spam fried rice was surprisingly very bland, and the quiche was very brown on top. It was tasty on the inside though and my husband enjoyed it overall. My son got mochi pancakes and they were a hit, nice texture and chew, ube flavored. The coffee is good. Waited about 5 minutes at the front before the host greeted me and showed me to my table inside. The inside is quaint and gave that old wailuku feeling. This restaurant is open air and also has outdoor seating between the buildings in like a small courtyard area that is open to the inside seating. Our waitress greeted us right away and took our order. A lot of the menu items are seasonal being that they use mostly local. Everyone enjoyed their food they ordered. We ordered fish tacos choices of seared ahi or mahi and opted for the pumpkin quinoa for a side - best cold quinoa I've had so fresh with notes of cilantro. Southwest shrimp salad was tasty with 4 jumbo shrimp. Loco moco was a winner over brown rice. We had a nice time here and the food was so fresh, I will be back to try more! I wanted to get breakfast at a place that was nice but not snobby and this ended up being just what I was looking for! Service was friendly and the food came pretty fast. The mocha here was the best mocha I have ever had. I got a bubble waffle for my kid and it looked good and fun to eat. I got the buttermilk biscuit breakfast sandwich and I think the biscuit breading made it too dry and it was messy to eat, but the toppings were good and I could tell they use quality legit ingredients. It was a lot of food. The potatoes on the side were too bland, they should jazz those up. Prices were a bit high but that's everywhere here. I would come back to this place. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots in Maui. I enjoy the lilikoi dressing salad with mahi as well as the short rib benedict. The mahi mahi is clearly fresh and perfectly prepared (guessing sous vide?). Perfectly cooked, and I've had it 2 times already. The salad greens are well dressed and have a vibrant tangy flavor. Short rib sauce is velvety and delicious. Short ribs are sizeable, meaty, and not overcooked. read more
