I had the best experience at Siya. I didn't have enough time to make it out to India and I was a bit nervous about shopping stateside. But Pranesh and Sonu helped me find all three of my outfits and jewelry for my sangeet, reception, and wedding, and the whole process was honestly such a fun and memorable experience. For my wedding outfit, he actually met with the designer with me and helped me design what I wanted and had it shipped to his store and tailored. He really took the time to understand what I wanted and paid attention to every little detail. And gave really great advice. The final result was even more beautiful than I imagined. Pranesh was always available whenever I had questions or wanted to bounce ideas off him, and he's just such a down-to-earth guy which made the whole process feel really comfortable and easy. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure you love what you're wearing. The selection at Siya is also amazing. A lot of the other stores I went to felt pretty similar to each other, but Siya's pieces felt much more modern and up-to-date. It's a really nice blend of traditional designs to East meets West styles, and everything felt unique and thoughtfully curated. On top of that, his pricing is honestly very reasonable for the level of quality, craftsmanship, and style you're getting. This place is absolutely the best prices and quality. It has gorgeous modern styles for both men and women. I came in very desprate need of an outfit for my sister's wedding that is happening two days from now. My original outfit zipper broke and everything I had for it was for a particular color. I was driving through with my partner and we stopped off originally to another store but I luckily stopped to peer inside Siya. I ended up getting styled by Pranesh who is an expert stylist. I got an entirely new outfit for myself and my partner with jewelry and bangles to match. We are so happy about the experience. I heard so many great things about this place so I was really excited to check it out the other day. The clothes were average, nothing to go home raving about, but what disgusted me the most was the customer service. The guy helping us was already being extremely rude as soon as he started helping us. I had originally booked a walk in appointment for my sister in law to find her reception dress and he said "why are you talking if she's the bride?" Umm excuse me, I'm here to help and support her?? When my SIL's older sister went to the fitting room to help her try on her dress he proceeds to say, "d*mn, give her some room" like, are you serious? He tried doing "service recovery" by offering me a shot/drinks which I proceeded to decline and tell him I wouldn't drink anything he's touched with how belittling he was. The prices and selection are okay, but I would rather take my money somewhere else. We were being as kind as possible as we know these Indian boutiques are family owned often times, but his attitude and demeanor was very ugly and I would definitely not recommend this place as long as he's here. Take your business next door where the owners and employees treat you with basic respect and kindness. We definitely found our dream dresses next door after such a terrible experience. PS- looks like the guy who helped us is the business owner to this page. I needed a few bridal looks for my upcoming wedding. I've been to dozens of Indian clothing stores in California and none of them compare to this one. SIYA has the best selection (including modern pieces), prices, and service. Other stores told me I would need *months* for alterations and SIYA did them in *days*! I found a dress I liked at another store that was out of my budget and SIYA had the same exact dress for less than half the cost! Pranesh is a delight to work with. He is patient, generous, and offers helpful styling advice. He helped me pick the perfect jewelry for the two bridal outfits I bought. After going to every Indian clothing store in the Bay Area, I have to say that SIYA has the most reasonable prices, quality, and fun shopping experience! Right when you enter, you will notice the store has a luxurious interior and amazing scent. The walls are lined with so many unique, modern, & "instagrammable" outfits. I'm usually very picky, but I have to honestly say every single outfit in the store is gorgeous! The store is appointment-based and the service fantastic. Upon entering, I found that the owner was super kind and helped me look through a wide variety of lehenga to match my taste. After trying on a few, I was able to find THE one. It's so beautiful, the embroidery is delicate and high-quality. Also, the owner was able to help me get it custom-tailored within 15 minutes (since the lehenga already fit me pretty well). i've been in the store many times before there's this really nice guy who works here. But this time something unusual happened. when me and my mother entered the store, the man who usually works here was helping out a client I believe, and there was a lady standing next to them right as we entered, she started to stare at my mother, very strangely, like we entered her house instead of a clothing store. My mother is an elder lady, and she was just looking at clothes right in front of her. but this lady was so caught up and focused on my mother, that I was about to ask her "is everything OK?" But before I said anything, she asked my mom, "what are you looking for?" my mom innocently replied that she's looking to match something with her dress. and then the lady replied," we have nothing like that here you can go to the stores next-door."to which I replied, we're just here to look around can we look? to the girls around her replied yes, "of course you can look". honestly, it got so awkward to a point that just being in the store was a very uncomfortable experience.
