Sizzle & Crunch, the Vietnamese Chipotle, is a staple of my college experience and hasn't changed much! Out of many visits, I think I've gotten food poisoning once before which was not fun, but the food is good value and delicious, so I kept coming back. Fast, relaxed service with self serve utensils. Smaller seating area available with a restroom available. Can't go wrong with any bowls here, make sure to get the green sauce if you don't have the cilantro tastes like soap gene! Would personally go elsewhere for banh mi primarily due to cost. They taste great but might as well get a bowl.

Delicious food at a great price! This is a great spot for picking up a quick but filling meal. I got the pork belly bowl with half rice and half salad. The pork belly has great flavor and they give you a nice portion. The pickled veggies and sauces to add on are great too!

It wasn't sizzle nor crunchy lol Deli/ subway style way of getting your banh mi, nothing wrong with that but the bread wasn't toasted... so there was definitely no crunch and was cold. The grilled pork itself was fine has texture but the pork belly was sad and had some kick to it ... it was very it textured and all I could taste was the slight kick but none of the usually umami flavor that comes the the pork fat... For $12 a banh mi there are definitely better places, no pate, no crisp bread .... Very do not recommend ... maybe their plate dishes are better?

A friend and I ordered take out and it was ready within 10 minutes! Super fast and delicious food. We both enjoyed the chicken rice bowl with egg, the fish sauce was a great addition to the veggies! It's fresh, quick and filling! This is a great healthy pick me up if you need something that's convenient. We didn't try their drinks but next time I'm in the area I would love to try their lychee ice tea!

Decently priced Asian flavored food that hits the spot. I got the pork rice bowl which was about $11. The pork has a wonderful char flavor, super tender as well and chopped into chunks for each bite. I love the mix salad to help freshen up the taste and bring some brightness. The veggies are fresh and crisp as well. I like some spiciness so I got jalepenos in mine but next time I would omit this because the seeds get everywhere and surprised me with very strong spiciness in random bites. You HAVE to get their fish sauce with your order! It's the perfect mixture of sweet, sour, and umami. I ordered online but I noticed when picking up the order in person that the online price was about $3-$4 more before any service fees (on Fantusn at least) So for those who like to order beforehand and pick up in store, just be aware.

Although the line was long the food was delicious, we got a chicken Bahn mi, tofu bowl and Thai milk tea. The Thai milk tea was not filled all the way and was mostly ice:( it was good but not worth $6.99 with no toppings.

Healthy food and great for any occasion! Been coming multiple times and the service is very quick and even during busy hours there is plenty of staff. Large portions!

I hear all the time that Sizzle n crunch is like Chipotle but for Viet cuisine and I feel like it's accurate. Definitely not your most authentic Vietnamese food but it's crazyyy good. From my experience the workers are always generous with the servings and there's plenty of seating in and outside the restaurant.

My daughter brought this home for me to try and it's delicious! It's pouring with flavor especially after pouring the sauces that it came with. The green house sauce is just delicious. I can't wait to try their other dishes.

I just loved this place , so much so that I had my dinner every day on my visit to Seattle . Was conveniently located near my hotel in downtown . The portion size was very good , the staff was helpful and friendly, the taste was awesome and the ambiance was fantastic . They have nice sitting area right outside and plenty of street parking . Absolutely recommended

Amazing fast casual joint for Viet. Heard a lot of good things about this place so I'm glad I got yo try it. I got the Grilled Pork Rice Bowl and it was sooo delicious. I love the balance of rice, meat, and veg. There were some straight up pieces of fat, which I didn't love, but they give a massive portion overall so I can overlook that. The workers are also super friendly. Will definitely come back!

Sizzle and Crunch Vietnamese grill is a great, healthy version of Vietnamese street food. There are options from vermicelli bowls, rice bowls and banh mi sandwiches. I got the rice bowl. If you are familiar with Chipotle, it's similar where you have a base and protein and the toppings are your choosing and free. It's a great deal and reasonably priced. The food is pretty good and filling. The service wasn't exceptional...pretty basic. I wouldn't consider the restaurant a place to dine in.

Pork platter with everything. So good!

The food here is fantastic. It's either a sandwiches or plates of food Vietnamese style. I ended up going to this place because the line was long outside, which is always a great sign. There's some seats to the left of the register, but not a lot.

Do they still have the pate spread? Last I checked I didn't see it.

No pate spread, and I'm sad about it. They used to, along with cut ham that made it really authentic. Maybe it was getting too expensive.

I could just tell this restaurant was going to be a great experience from the moment we arrived. Friendly staff greeted us as we arrived and quickly showed us to our table. The atmosphere was warm and energetic, full of diners eating, drinking and enjoying conversation. After a quick scan of the menu, we quickly made our decision to order as many dishes as we could and share. We went for the beef tartare, Chinese scallion pancake, smoked tofu, kimchi trio, spicy rice cake, Chinese broccoli, "that" short rib steak, Kalbi burger, and the kombu cured mackerel. Everything was #brokedamout. The standouts to me were the scallion pancake, short rib, Kalbi burger and mackerel. Parking is available on the street and in private lots. We're already trying to figure out when we can get back here again before we leave. We'll certainly be back.

I've been looking forward to trying this place for a while. It's a Korean fusion-type steakhouse,…read morewhich is pretty known for their meats - particularly their short rib. We started with the bone marrow - but this was a near-instant regret. The amount of bone marrow was so miniscule it was hardly noticeable. Despite the larger bone, the crevasse containing the marrow was so thin it was barely a light press on the surface of the bone. I could barely taste anything from how little was on there. At least it came with a couple pieces of nicely grilled and buttered toast, but this was a massive waste of 20 bucks. For our mains, we had the famous short rib steak, and the kalbi burger. The short rib steak is the most known dish from this restaurant - and it's expensive too. It comes with 6 oz of the kalbi, glazed with a sweet and savory soy-sauce based marinade. This steak was solid, but I wouldn't say it lived up to the hype. The end pieces are astoundingly good, with a fattiness that melts in your mouth completely - but the middle pieces honestly felt pretty dry. The extra cap fat on the outside made a big difference in their taste, and this wasn't available to the middle pieces, which were on the chewier side. I did still like the marinade a lot. Also, each of the middle pieces showcased thick grey bands around the outside - not an indication of great cooking either. Rather than the more famous item, what truly blew us away was the burger. This was astonishingly good - up there with one of the best burgers I've ever had. Obviously, when you put a short rib patty inside a burger, it's going to taste amazing, but this one still beat every expectation I had. The 8 oz patty is super thick and ludicrously juicy - it's practically the same thickness as both buns combined. The cook is an absolutely perfect medium rare. But what really gets me is the perfect dark black char on every single inch of the outside. It's the best crust I've ever seen on a burger. This was so much better than the short rib steak.. Adding to the contradictions - the short rib steak and bone marrow are both way overpriced for what you get, while the burger, at just $24, feels very underpriced for how massive it is. Overall, I would certainly recommend you go here, but skip the expensive items and share a burger between two people and you'll leave happy. 8.25/10

We started with a dozen of the shucked oysters, which were perfectly prepared and not overly briny. From there we tried the Bò Lá Lốt and is instantly my new go-to dish whenever I come back. I'd never had it before and now I'm already craving it again. For mains, we ordered the Lemongrass Clay Pot Chicken and the Drunken Chicken. The Lemongrass Chicken had incredible flavor, especially the broth, which was so good it's worth taking home if you don't finish it. The only downside was navigating all the bones. The Drunken Chicken ended up being my favorite main dish. It reminded me of sweet-and-sour chicken, but without the overwhelming sweetness that usually takes over the dish. A quick heads up: definitely make a reservation if you can because this place gets BUSY. We lucked out and snagged the last four seats at the bar. Even with the crowd, the service was friendly, attentive, and the food came out surprisingly fast. Monsoon is one of those places where you immediately start planning what you'll order next time before you've even left the restaurant.

An absolute treat in all sense of the word!…read more We made reservations for an early dinner on Saturday, and glad we did because there was a never ending stream of people. By 6pm every seat was taken, including the bar. Highly recommend reservations. We had the cauliflower, squash blossom, squid ink fried rice, and the NY steak. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. The cauliflower was cooked perfectly and had a really lovely smokey-ness to it. The sesame and almond puree and mint oil was divine. Honestly I could have made a whole meal of the cauliflower. The shrimp in the squash blossom was a delightful burst of flavor and texture. The sauces, while quite strong on their own, did not overpower the squash blossom, and each bite could have different flavors based on the sauce combinations. The squid ink fried rice had good textured rice AND the nori seasoning was perfect. I didn't get a lot of kimchi flavor, but it was truly a perfect fried rice- a little salty, you could tell it was fried but not greasy or oily, and a good complement to the steak. The steak was cooked perfectly. Each bite was so tender, and every part was the same level of done. A perfect medium rare. I don't know what they did to the brussel sprouts, but it was one of the best brussel sprout dishes I've ever had. There was a sauce with the steak (maybe dwenjang based?) that added such a nice deep salty and savory touch to the steak. We left feeling quite full, and about $200 poorer. Overall highly recommend. There are a few high top bar like seats scattered with smaller 2 and 4 tops. The restaurant is on the corner but doesn't feel too bright or too dark. Service: Elevated. Passionate. But not in a "trying too hard" way. They all seemed to care deeply about every beat. Recommendations felt curated and everyone had a calmness to them that was very refreshing. Food: Un. Real. Squash Blossoms - beautiful plating, better flavor. They were crunchy on the outside with a burst of perfectly cooked shrimp inside. The sauces complimented perfectly. Octopus - perfectly cooked. Perfectly. The presentation didn't even do the flavor justice. One tentacle but savored each bite. Ink fried rice - I've never had ink rice before but let me tell you each bite was a delicious textural experience. The portion was quite decent too. Truffle mushrooms - as a non-mushroom lover, I was sold on these because it's (5) types of mushrooms pan fried and topped with parm. Lost my mind. The mushrooms were so substantial and reminded me more of meat than of dirt. We would come back simply for this dish. Ribeye - the "crescendo" as our waiter put it. And he was right. We watched the chef cook this steak perfectly on the open fire in front of us. The level of care and passion left us tantalized. The calmness and cleanliness of the prep area. It was truly dinner and a relaxing show. I could not get over how the smoke that greeted us gently wove its way into each slice of mid rare ribeye. The dish is served with banchan of Kimchee, salad, Brussels, and broccoli so balanced and flavorful. I think I finally understand umami? Big day! Dessert - not photographed Lychee sorbet had me dreaming of the martini without missing the alcohol. Barley gelato - the flavor starts off with a strong coffee and transforms into an earthier and heartier barley that I've never had before in my life! The shaved ice - mind blown? One bite through to the bottom cream and then it was gone in my mouth. I'd like to refer to this as the magicians assistant because it's in front of you and then it's gone. Totally Cinnamon Toast Crunch but magical? We can't wait to come back. Huge thanks to Bill for making the experience so fantastic.
