The food was bad and service even worse. Dont come here. Decent vibes inside but not worth the money

Great spot for a quick meal! The portions are generous and the sides are actually decently flavored. However, I got the spicy chicken and it wasn't really spicy, I thought they could have added more heat. The service is similar to Chipotle, and goes pretty smoothly. There is seating inside but also outside overlooking the ave if you're into eating al fresco.

The beef Teriyaki was hard and dry. A good teriyaki sauce has a balance of sweet and automatic. The smoky salty flavor of the soy sauce should complement the garlic and ginger flavor in the marinade.. The teriyaki sauce was so sweet It tasted like corn syrup.. also the price on the menu does not reflect what is on yelp. I was also charged for double the meat which I did not ask for. Overall, if you're craving teriyaki and one large portions, this place is not bad.

A pretty good post workout meal spot. The chicken is tender and seasoned well. But the rice is too sticky and the chow mein is pretty bland.

Service is always good, ambiance is nice and I appreciate the holiday decorations. Food is always pleasing, good customization choices. Portions are also good for the price as well. A great teriyaki spot overall.

This place was super good and did not disappoint. The location is perfect and the inside was welcoming and super clean. My friend took me here this weekend and said it was the best teriyaki and the best bang for your buck. The service was super good they hooked it up and gave for good portion sizes, the food it's self was really good, they put a regular sauce and a spicy sauce on top that was just right. I will definitely be returning here and recommend it to anyone I know.

Good teriyaki, different from usual Seattle teriyaki, as it is more of a chipotle style of service. I like that you can choose rice and yakisoba and veggies along with the meat. The food tastes good and the service is nice, the price is reasonable, I do wish they served more chicken with the meal, but that is expected with the area. I will definitely go back if in the area.

Spicy chicken with greens. So good.

This place was a lil dirty. But maybe that's due to the college clientele. Great prices and portions.

I could just tell this restaurant was going to be a great experience from the moment we arrived. Friendly staff greeted us as we arrived and quickly showed us to our table. The atmosphere was warm and energetic, full of diners eating, drinking and enjoying conversation. After a quick scan of the menu, we quickly made our decision to order as many dishes as we could and share. We went for the beef tartare, Chinese scallion pancake, smoked tofu, kimchi trio, spicy rice cake, Chinese broccoli, "that" short rib steak, Kalbi burger, and the kombu cured mackerel. Everything was #brokedamout. The standouts to me were the scallion pancake, short rib, Kalbi burger and mackerel. Parking is available on the street and in private lots. We're already trying to figure out when we can get back here again before we leave. We'll certainly be back.

The staff is very knowledgeable, pleasant, and efficient. The menu is wonderfully creative (Korean-inspired), and all the dishes we ordered were tasty and well-executed. THE THORNS: No dedicated parking. It's kind of iffy finding parking on the street. Prices honestly seem a bit steep for what you get; $40 for a six-ounce cut of (wonderfully prepared) flatiron steak and a laughingly meager scattering of vegetables is a bit dear in my opinion. At $22, the kalbi burger is a much more reasonable choice. Dropping $150 for two entrees, two drinks, and two appetizers left me feeling a bit short-changed against what I was getting. THE VERDICT: Joule boasts a very interesting menu and executes well, but I just can't justify the bill for what I'm getting. You may feel differently. I understand Seattle's Progressive policies and onerous taxation (gotta pay for all those homeless programs somehow), but this is a bit much. Neither recommend nor discourage.

We started with a dozen of the shucked oysters, which were perfectly prepared and not overly briny. From there we tried the Bò Lá Lốt and is instantly my new go-to dish whenever I come back. I'd never had it before and now I'm already craving it again. For mains, we ordered the Lemongrass Clay Pot Chicken and the Drunken Chicken. The Lemongrass Chicken had incredible flavor, especially the broth, which was so good it's worth taking home if you don't finish it. The only downside was navigating all the bones. The Drunken Chicken ended up being my favorite main dish. It reminded me of sweet-and-sour chicken, but without the overwhelming sweetness that usually takes over the dish. A quick heads up: definitely make a reservation if you can because this place gets BUSY. We lucked out and snagged the last four seats at the bar. Even with the crowd, the service was friendly, attentive, and the food came out surprisingly fast. Monsoon is one of those places where you immediately start planning what you'll order next time before you've even left the restaurant.

We got the short rib wontons, kimchi pancake, Dungeness crab noodle, and Korean fried chicken. My favorites were the short rib wontons and Korean fried chicken! The wontons were in a delicious chili sauce, and the fried chicken was crisp and marinated well. Personally I felt like the Dungeness crab noodle was just okay, I wish there were more crab pieces. Portions for the dishes overall are pretty small, so the restaurant is pretty pricey overall. For dessert we ordered the basque hojicha cheesecake and really liked it! The cheesecake had a nutty flavor and good texture with the crust. Our server kindly provided us an extra dessert, the panna cotta. This dessert was really light and refreshing - a perfect complement. Overall I really enjoyed the experience at revel. There's a couple standout dishes and service was great. I enjoyed it the first time I had it, so why not give it another whirl? I'm glad I tried it again! The new restaurant looks modern and cozy. It's quite the glow up from the previous location! I arrived shortly after opening (around 5:15 PM) and it was fairly quiet inside. I did have a reservation, but I don't think it is necessary if you come right at opening, or shortly after. I think there were only a few patrons, but it started filling up a lot more during the course of my meal. By 6:30, the tables were all filling up. Service was attentive, kind, and professional. Paju has the chops of a fine dining establishment and all signs should lead you to believe that it is, including the price point. I think it's accurate to consider it so. As far as the food goes, I thought everything was lovely! I enjoyed the flavors of everything I ordered. The Honey Bee was more viscous than I thought it would be, but I felt the thicker, syrupy type of consistency did feel more honey-like. That was interesting. The Chips & Dip were fantastic. Lots of flavor here. The dip is good, but the rice cracker/chip was delicious and tasty completely on its own as well. I had the Paju Fried Rice the first time I visited and it was just as good, if not better, than when I had it years ago. I think the plating is better and the portion seems bigger? Good nonetheless. I closed out the meal with the Lychee Sorbet, since I wanted something light. I quite enjoyed the flavor of it! It felt light, refreshing, and not too strong on the lychee flavor. I think it was a good way to end the meal. I'd recommend this, if you didn't want something heavy. It feels like a great summer dessert option. If Paju is in your price range, you like Korean food, or are looking for a nice date night, I think you'd be happy with the dining experience here. If the Michelin Guide covered Seattle, I have no doubts that Paju would be in it. It does, however, have recognition from Eater, and rightfully so in my opinion.
