Chicken teriyaki plate

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I definitely recommend it and will be coming back again!

The food was bad and service even worse. Dont come here. Decent vibes inside but not worth the money

Great spot for a quick meal! The portions are generous and the sides are actually decently flavored. However, I got the spicy chicken and it wasn't really spicy, I thought they could have added more heat. The service is similar to Chipotle, and goes pretty smoothly. There is seating inside but also outside overlooking the ave if you're into eating al fresco.

The beef Teriyaki was hard and dry. A good teriyaki sauce has a balance of sweet and automatic. The smoky salty flavor of the soy sauce should complement the garlic and ginger flavor in the marinade.. The teriyaki sauce was so sweet It tasted like corn syrup.. also the price on the menu does not reflect what is on yelp. I was also charged for double the meat which I did not ask for. Overall, if you're craving teriyaki and one large portions, this place is not bad.

A pretty good post workout meal spot. The chicken is tender and seasoned well. But the rice is too sticky and the chow mein is pretty bland.

Service is always good, ambiance is nice and I appreciate the holiday decorations. Food is always pleasing, good customization choices. Portions are also good for the price as well. A great teriyaki spot overall.

This place was super good and did not disappoint. The location is perfect and the inside was welcoming and super clean. My friend took me here this weekend and said it was the best teriyaki and the best bang for your buck. The service was super good they hooked it up and gave for good portion sizes, the food it's self was really good, they put a regular sauce and a spicy sauce on top that was just right. I will definitely be returning here and recommend it to anyone I know.

Good teriyaki, different from usual Seattle teriyaki, as it is more of a chipotle style of service. I like that you can choose rice and yakisoba and veggies along with the meat. The food tastes good and the service is nice, the price is reasonable, I do wish they served more chicken with the meal, but that is expected with the area. I will definitely go back if in the area.

This place was a lil dirty. But maybe that's due to the college clientele. Great prices and portions.

Everything we've tried here has been delicious. The grilled skewers that are favorites include the bacon wrapped mochi, the pork wrapped dango, the salmon and the chicken. We've had both the Salmon carpaccio and a yellowtail carpaccio that were seasoned just right and so tasty. The quality of the fish has always been high. We always try to get one sushi dish. The staff is great and after a few visits remembers us even though we only go a once every few months. Pro tip: Make a reservation. It's very popular and there can sometimes be long waits otherwise. Especially Fridays and Saturdays.

We also ordered the mochi bacon and that was my favorite one overall. The mochi so soft and the bacon went well with the sauce. Skip the okonomoyaki it is not worth it. The sushi rolls were mostly rice with little fish. I would skip getting any of them. The carpaccios were interesting... not really what I was thinking when I order carpaccios at other restaurants but the fish was good quality and the sauces paired well. I liked the the yuzu sour! It was so tart and fizzy, whereas the lemon sour mostly tasted like water. They are really just known for their decor, which is indeed super cool. The ambiance is very fun. It can get super busy so make a reservation, especially if you have a bigger group coming. I think it would be a fine place to get drinks and maybe have a bite or two, but the food is not really worth it in my opinion.

My favorite spot to sit at is at one of the high tables for two on the left side of the dining room. We like to sit more towards the back so it's a bit more quiet. My hubs and I like coming here for happy hour and getting two orders of Zangi (fried chicken), two orders of the Pork Chashu Bao, and two orders of the sashimi special (which comes from their connected restaurant Secret Fort). We also like to get the iced green tea for two which comes in a big, beautiful bottle and you can see the leaves floating in it. Thanks for this rec, Gina! It was a shame. Our first night last Sunday, visiting Seattle.

Menu is broad but not in an overwhelming way. We're always pleasantly surprised when we get the check and it's much less than expected. Our favorites so far are the octopus skewer, bacon-wrapped quail egg skewer, tsukemono, negihama roll, and orange roll. But again, the menu has a nice variety of options for all different approaches and preferences, so we're excited for our next visits and to nail down our true favorites.

I'll preface with a few things: * They close at 10PM: We…read morecame towards the end of the night, *however* we had called in advance at 8:50PM, asking 1)) if they could take us if we arrived around 9:20PM & 2)) if we could have the Okonamiyaki. While they could've been speaking to menu technicality of simply having it on the menu, in a well-spirited reply they said they had it for us. And so we... * Took a $35 Lyft to zoom over and respect their time, which certainly contributed to the frustration but very much isn't where most of it derived from. We made it a few minutes before the time we said we'd be there. * The only reason this isn't one star is because we ordered skewers that were pretty decent. I do recommend those. * Make sure to have phone charge for the virtual menus The host was amazing!!! Incredible spirits for late night. The servers were pretty garbage! I say servers plural because dude and his lookalike double-teamed us and somehow both sucked. I say this as someone who's worked in the service industry for 3 years. The servers seemed actively dismayed & angry that we were at the restaurant (there were 2 bigger tables that ended up remaining before we left the place, mind you), which simply could've been easily mitigated by telling us at 8:50PM to come a different day if we wanted better service or something of the sort. After traveling far & wide for this freakin Okonamiyaki, with an offputting slight glare, the waiter told us that they didn't have it for the night. No reason provided: "we just don't have it"... mmmk buddy. At least lie to us and say that the kitchen doesn't have any more ingredients or something dude. Upon the 3 of us ordering what we got, each item was disappointing in its own right: * To be fair, my friend who ordered the Uni Udon was warned that it might be a little weird tasting, and it sure was. Don't recommend * The JFC Don pictured was about 90% rice according to my friend. Nothing more needed to say there. * Annd my Maguro Avocado Don... wow I was astonished at how much I disliked it. The rice was lukewarm. Nothing was mentioned about minced tuna on the menu so it looked like dog food in my bowl. I'm white... so what in the white people shit was in my bowl? Like...genuinely. I could make that 10x better at my house in half the time and I'm a fcking college student. Is seasoning no longer with us? Does anyone know what pepper or garlic are? Was astonished at how one can make a dish so terrible. I only ate it because I'm broke and can't afford other stuff. The dish looks as horrible as it tasted , and I made it look better than it was served to me I could go on. And lastly, the checks. Yknow, for guys that seemed so pissed for us being there, they were slow as hell with the checks. I'm kind af but a bitch when I'm fucked with (case in point here), so I really gave them my whole dentures, which was exponential in magnitude compared to what they gave us. Thank you Issian, for a terrible night. Citizens of the world, please don't waste your money here, I beg you.

The food was fine, but I left with real concerns about hygiene practices here…read more Around 6pm on a recent visit, I went to use the restroom (shared with a neighboring business) and found no soap at the sink. The dispenser was wet, suggesting it had recently been used and run out. I flagged this to an employee who was handling food at the time. They acknowledged me but didn't address it. I waited and brought it up again and was met with visible annoyance. Another staff member eventually mentioned that employees use a sink in the kitchen. I asked if I could use it. Shortly after, soap appeared in the bathroom with no acknowledgment or apology. What concerns me most is this: if the customer-facing restroom had no soap during the dinner rush, and the response to being asked about it was irritation rather than urgency, what does that say about how handwashing is handled behind the scenes? I'm not looking for perfection. I'm looking for basic food safety protocol to be taken seriously. I didn't see that here.

Food: I had one of the bento combos and it came with miso soup, a side salad, and a large dinner plate. The first thing that stood out to me was how much of everything came with the bento. On top of that, everything was very fresh and tasty. The dragon roll was also very good! Service/Ambiance: The staff here was very friendly. The restaurant isn't huge so I'd imagine it could get pretty packed during a lunch or dinner rush. There a few parking spots out front in the plaza, but also lots of street parking nearby. Price: For the quality and portions of the food, I would say this is a great value. The bento was around ~25 and the roll was ~18 which is pretty standard in 2026

The sushi bowls and rolls are huge portions and they tasted good, and I appreciate the warm sushi rice underneath (hate when it's cold). Finally, we were celebrating a birthday so we appreciated them bringing out a complimentary dessert and it was very cute having them play the birthday song on the speakers so the whole restaurant sang along! On the misses, the spicy salmon hand roll was extremely salty to the point where it was burning my tongue. The hot dishes like the salmon chanchan yaki and chicken teriyaki were bland and overcooked, didn't even want to bring leftovers home. And the sushi took FOREVER to come out, at least 15 minutes after the hot dishes, so be warned if it's busy. Parking is also very limited on site so that;s another warning if you're going during busy times.
