    Grilled Chicken Banh Mi
    Michael A.

A first timer to this food court restaurant! Ordered 3 Grilled Chicken Banh Mi Sandwiches, 1 Grilled Pork with Noodles and a Vietnamese Coffee drink. Received our food in a very timely manner to go. They were packed adequately. Prices seemed reasonable, considering it was in Seattle, WA. The food tasted great! The Vietnamese Coffee could have been more flavorful and stronger, but still liked it. Customer service was courteous and friendly.

I dropped by here when I was in the area. The presentation looks good but the taste was not. The chicken was way too crispy that it's dried. It was dry like the Sahara desert and the chicken rice was bland. I wished it had more flavor but it definitely fell short. Instead of soy sauce, they should do a ginger fish sauce or something that would do the rice some justice.

Not a great pho experience. Everything disposable even if dining in. Broth was bland. They don't provide hoisn, siracha, sprouts, or basil automatically. Banh mi might be better. Seats sparse since a food court

Vietnamese iced coffee & chicken banh mi

Saigon Streets is located inside the Uwajimaya food court in the ID. This spot is located near my work and is a go to for banh mi's. On this visit, I ordered 3 chicken banh mi's and 3 Vietnamese iced coffees to take back to work. I was gone for a bit and when I came back, Paula put the finishing touches on the iced coffees by adding the ice and the foam. The banh mi's were solid, good mayo to pâté ratio and reasonably priced. The baguettes are from Thanh Son Tofu & Bakery. The coffee was smooth tasting with the right amount of sweetness. They can get busy during lunchtime, so I would recommend ordering online to avoid the wait. Often times I will order in person and do a little shopping in between. Service was very friendly and helpful. Paula takes pride in making her coffee drinks. Will plan to order a side of peanut sauce for dipping next time, as others have suggested.

Located in the food court of ID uwajimaya! Seating available as the food court allows, but I prefer to get mine to go and walk to the nearby park spaces :) Affordable and flavorful bahn mi, locally owned! Hot tip: get a side of peanut sauce and dip your sandwich, sauce comes warm and it just hits on a hard day. I've also had the spring rolls and pho, all great! I love the staff, so sweet. They can do big orders too! We had them for a work event and just called in the 25 sandwiches a week+ out and they got it PERFECT!! Sandwiches were labeled for the different meat preferences. We will absolutely order from them again!

    Chicken Curry Banh Mi

We were pleasantly surprised by this little Vietnamese spot in Uwajimaya. Saigon Streets is located in the food court of Seattle's best Asian grocery store. The food court itself could use some more tables and perhaps some decor...but the food (and the prices) can't be beat. We ordered a delicious chicken curry Banh Mi. The veggies were fresh and crispy and the bread was perfectly toasted. The chicken curry was SO GOOD! It was moist and dripping with curry sauce. The sandwich was $8.99. I'll be back to try something else next time. Great choice if you're looking for a quick bite to-go in Chinatown.

We came to try a banh mi and it was ok. They are located in the food court of uwajimaya. The ordering was smooth and it was a fast pick up. The banh mi was a little too crispy that it can hurt the roof of your mouth. Im not sure if they have other vegetarian options but I was surprised to find my tofu sandwich filled with tofu mixed with pork skins shreds that you get in a Vietnamese rice dish. however, the owner clarified that it was the vegetarian type. Another thing was that it was very salty. I was relieved when I found that cucumber to help balance it out. The filling was a life saver but I needed more. Overall, it was ok.

Good food. As expected from a food court. Their bahn mi are good. I've been here many times.

Best Viet noodles. I get dinner here every Friday. Also excellent Bahn Mi! Very friendly staff. Its in the food court at Uwajimaya so the atmosphere could be better but overall very good!

It looked packed but I think a lot of people were at the larger pho Bac sup shop (which is associated w The Boat, but The Boat had plenty of seating at 6:30 on a Sunday night. It's a bit pricey for the portions, but overall we enjoyed our meal and I really liked trying dishes beyond the typical spring roll/pho/rice place. We ended up choosing a place close and were not disappointed at all. This restaurant is located off a busy street but it luckily offers a parking lot which can be hard to come by in Seattle. We also ordered the crispy butter garlic wings to share which was a perfect choice. The custard duck egg is an excellent starter, with a rich, savory broth that delivers a deep, yolky umami punch. The rau ram oil and herb is such a creative twist that adds the perfect herbal dimension. The radicchio pudding was light and offered a clean, almost grassy brightness without being overwhelming in flavors. Great option for any vegans at the table. The wagyu beef tallow fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. Ultra-crispy, perfectly thick-cut, and deeply flavorful with beef notes shining through, without being too heavy. Like many of the dishes here, perfectly balanced in flavor. The grilled eggplant with whipped tofu and crispy sun chokes was another standout. The tofu whip was so smooth and should be considered a worthy sub for mayo. The eggplant was soft, creamy, and perfectly charred. The garlic rice was incredibly savory and maybe my favorite version of it yet. Packed with the perfect depth of garlicky flavor and seasoning. Finally for dessert - I thought the durian fruit cup was decent, it's great for durian lovers but next time I will be back to try their other desserts. The hollow bread is a must-try. It's fried to perfection, the inside is steamy and the butter it comes with is perfect but the bread alone is so good that it doesn't need it. The perfect touch of roasted sesame. Slightly sweet, it's a delight in textures and perfect in cold weather. The oyster on half shell in happy hour is also a great standard oyster, very fresh, with a nuanced Viet twist in the sauces. Vegetable dip is pretty standard and also delicious, great if you're looking for a healthy starter. Coffee rubbed ribs were fantastic as well and an incredible deal for the size. Easy to eat and flavorful on its own but dipping it with Chinsu added spice and more flavor. Bot Chien had a crisp to it and egg was cooked well. You have to dip it in the fish sauce or else there is no flavor. Just something minor but I wish the pickled veggies were more separated. It had the cut lines but not fully cut so you had to separate it yourself. The com tam was alright. All of the components you would usually get for a broken rice dish. The meatloaf was really good. The pork on the other hand was a bit too salty for my liking. And you only get one thin piece... soup on the side was good and was a good way to cleanse the palette. Overall good modern/fancy spin on Vietnamese food but overpriced. Would probably be nice to go during dinner time for some drinks as the ambience seemed better for night time. Good amount of seating. Street parking around the area was easy to find.
