Stopped for lunch today...all together we had Salad Bar, Sirloin Steak with Shrimp Skewers , Clam Chowder, chicken, taco makings etc. The only disappointments with the plethora of food were: the shrimp was overloaded with butter and left the shrimp limp, tasty, but too soft. The bread pudding which was excellent before (served with a hot sauce), is now like a cinnamon roll trying to be bread pudding. We enjoy this place.....great Staff, clean environment, fresh ingredients and my steaks are always cooked to perfection. We will be back soon read more

We frequent Sizzler often and it has always been a family favorite. My parents brought me and my siblings as kids and now I take my own kids. We always add the salad bar because the selections are always good and the kids love it. Going to put it out there... Mr. Lee is amazing! I haven't been to Sizzler in years+ and now I know why I've missed it so much! This Sizzler was actually very nice compared to others I've been to in the past. Me and a coworker came here for lunch, as soon as we arrived the manager greeted us immediately at the front counters. He started telling us about how this location was upgraded with new features including the location of their salad bar and additions to their menu items. I had the fish and chips and salad bar, I brought my old school Sizzler appetite with me that day. We also had some of Sizzler's famous cheesy bread that was super good! Coworker had the Tri Tip which looked very good and juicy. The food was delicious, the salad bar was kept very nicely prepped with fresh veggies and food kept hot. This location was great, the staff were happy to help and serve! I will definitely be coming back here in the future when come back to Cali! #IIThumbsUp read more

Haven't been to Sizzler in 20+ years and apparently for good reason. My wife has been curious about it recently even though we had been there in our youth and I told her it's junk but she wouldn't listen so I humored her and said yeah ok lets check it out again. Came at opening get in line we're second I look to the right and there's a menu on the wall. I'm like ok this is already getting lame. She's like do we order here? Looks like it. What do you want? I have no idea I just started standing here. I'd like to sit down with a menu and peruse it. I heard the host ask the guy in front of me if he'd like cash back for the tip and I'm like nope we're not eating here. I'm not ordering steak from a cafeteria. The place was clean at least. We just left. Not sure how this place stays in business but, I told here eating steak at Sizzler is like eating steak and Denny's it just doesn't make sense. Think they need to just go outta business it's like a ordering McDonald's style but at Applebee's like you're trying to wreck your business. read more

Low quality food, low quality service, the only thing saving this review from a 1 star rating is the salad bar. Normally I don't review chain restaurants because they're all generally the same, but I felt like I had to let my fellow yelpers realize that there are better food places than this one. Sizzler in general is a pretty pricey place, especially for a college individual. But seeing as this is one of my mother's favorite places, we sometimes go here whenever I come down to visit my mother. Food: Less than average. Portions are small compared to actual price. "Chefs" don't know how to cook meat properly. It's ALWAYS well-done or more because every time we order steak, it's always extremely dry or overdone - I like my steaks rare but I've never gotten that. Most recently, I had ordered the bourbon steak tips with mashed potatoes and the recipe was a little off. First off, why even ask how I want my steak tips if you're not going to cook it right anyways? Second, the mashed potatoes had no sauce whatsoever. I didn't even bother finishing it. Plus, there were thick pieces of red bell peppers in it which didn't add to the palate at all. My mother's steaks were dry, as expected, and my girl's fries were also really dry. Service: Service was a hit and a miss because our server was very monotone and acted like she hated her job. Didn't even care for customer service. But our waiter was prompt and really helpful. Asked for ketchup, delivered. Asked for two boxed, delivered. Swift guy, if you ask me. Overall, I do wish there were other diners, preferably a ma-and-pa shop, within the area so we can give them our money instead of this place. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch and got the salad bar. Was happy to see the soups were hot, fresh, and the selection were great. The broccoli cheese soup was very good also. Not to much of a selection of fruit but area was clean and full. chicken was good and salads are always good to have there. waitress was so cheerful, smiled, and was fun to talk too. she was very attentive. Only suggestion is I wish they had a light lemonade for those of us who are diabetic and don't drink diet soda. read more

I always consider prospective and circumstance when eating at a restaurant. You typically know what to expect when you go to Sizzler. We did the unlimited salad bar for the 4 of us. They usually have wings but knowing how they are so hard to come by nowadays they substituted with mini corn dogs and and chicken nuggets which was perfect for the kids. They actually had great service and the salad bar was clean. They had a pretty good selection and everything was crisp. The dressings were a bit bland but thats good for the health I guess. This made me really miss Souplantation r.i.p. the hot food is what you would expect and dare I say the taco meat was well seasoned and had pretty good flavor still not a fan of the weirdly color nacho cheese. Pro tip you can take you hot food and use the toppings at the salad bar for your nachos, add some cheddar parm olives to that sucker. Dont forget to order the onfamous cheese toast with your meal from the servers. I am also never excited about buffet ice cream but their mix was actually creamy and tasty! Mini emeinems and hot fudge are a must. Actually enjoyed this meal more than I expected. read more

This is specifically for the breakfast events at sizzler. As a counselor at a college I am happy and proud to be part of the student of the Month/year programs for Murrieta Unified school districts so I have the privilege of attending these events with these awesome HS students before Sizzler opens. My college helps sponsor these events. They give you a plate of scrambled eggs mixed with ham and vegetables, potatoes, fruit, bacon and sausage. The service is great and staff is on top of their game with customer service. Food is pretty good and the best part is being here before they even open. Came in for a birthday dinner, walked in, and our cashier Brie O. was somewhat rude to our whole party. She started to rush the service and was noticeably losing her patience. She ran our card which was approved on our end, but she wanted to run the card again saying it didn't go through, so when we tried to show her the transaction on our bank statement she didn't look, dismissed us, said "okay okay" and told us to sit wherever we wanted. By the time our food came out, it was mostly all wrong. However, our server, Veronica, turned our experience around made us feel welcome more comfortable and helped us out so much by getting our food right again. We eat at Sizzlet most every Sunday after church and have always loved the variety of food and have to say the steaks are one of the best for the price compared to other restaurants that serve steak. Management has always been super friendly and we met Lee for the first time today not the old Lee that was a female lol. First time at this location and at a Sizzlers in a many years. Design and layout is good, you have to decide what you are going to eat before you can even sit down. You pay for the food up front then your seated. The price I think is a bit much I give it more of $$ $ instead of the $$ that's listed. I did not like the fact that they push for a tip right away. I got the Unlimited Salad, which has soup and a few type of appetizers. Some of it was over and under cooked. Took a bit longer to get refill and plates taken away than it should with so many people working. For $75.00 with tip for 4 people is what you are going to spend on average here then this is your place. read more

I took my mother and kids out to a Thanksgiving meal at the Murrieta Sizzler location. This Sizzler was amazing how it handled all the families visiting. The place was packed with every table full and the staff worked flawlessly together. Our server 'Linda' was incredible even with all the tables flagging her down. We didn't need to ask for anything as she was checking in on us continuously throughout our meal. I haven't stepped into a Sizzler in a million years. Lucky you, our friend wanted Sizzler. My husband ordered a 6 oz steak and salad ($16.99). He chose asparagus as his side but it cost 99 cents for that. He also ordered the sautéed mushrooms for $2.39. Husband said it was good but not as good as Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse is a lot cheaper and you get two sides and no extra charge on the sides. I got the cilantro lime Asian sea bass and 99 cents for the asparagus. My meal was yummy and it was $19.99. Here's my confusion I wasn't sure if getting salad on the side would cost more money. That's why I didn't get it especially when I asked is the salad an add-on. The lady said yes so she gave me the impression that I have to pay extra for my salad. My impression of sizzler from years ago was that so long you order an entree you get to eat salad for free. Well, it looks like my husband's salad didn't get charged extra. The free cheese toast was good enough for me...not too cheesy but my hubby said it was ok. Overall a good experience but probably won't be coming back because it's more than I want to pay. I would go to Texas Roadhouse and spend way less. read more

So weird to get so excited about a Sizzler, but this place is amazing!! I hadn't been to Sizzler in like 10-15 years and back then they were all run down and gross. This one is brand new and amazing. One thing is that the pricing is pretty high, we paid around $100 for 3 people, but you get a lot of quality food for the price. It's very clean and well stocked for a buffet. I really wish there was a newer or remodeled one by my house but they're all rundown. I will def be back to this location. The service is also top notch!! read more

Valentines night at Sizzler, the place was packed. When I arrived at 4:30 the line was slightly out the door. Guess everyone thought they'd come early and beat the crowd. Lol. Anyway the line moved swiftly and I was seated in a lovely booth. Management and staff seat you here when it's busy which is a plus. This place is well run and they have plenty of staff that are well directed by the on site managers. Bussers are clearing tables as soon as they're vacated. Nobody is dawdling, everyone is busy doing their jobs. Anyway I had great service and was a solo diner and was treated like a queen. Fabulous service from Veronica or Vero on her name tag , my personal server. She was always right on time with more bread and drink refills. The manager stopped to make sure also everything was good and in order. Food was delicious. I had the new pork chop dinner with salad bar, very tasty.
