This is for their Thanksgiving meals. Last year (2019) my hubby suggested we go to Sizzler for Thanksgiving since we were taking a break from hosting a big family get together. It was delicious, the service was friendly and fast and we really enjoyed it. This year we couldn't gather due to Covid and I didn't want to eat in the parking lot we called in to order out food. Where else can you show up the day of and get three Thanksgiving meals to go cheap?! We had turkey and all the fixings, including a slice of pumpkin pie for under $15!!! The cashier was super friendly, the staff very efficient and the whole process was pretty quick. I'm seriously considering ordering it again next year even if we have guests over. The only reason I gave one star is that yelp won't allow me to leave zero. My husband and I just had the worst, most mind-blowing experience here. The management is definitely not of the opinion that the customer is always right. This one proceeded to pick a fight with my husband and belittled me because I am a woman and dared to speak. We left hungry and with a horrible case of indigestion. Don't waste your time or money - there are so many places to choose from with better food and ambiance. I ate here in the early afternoon during the week. It was not very busy at the time, but the service was excellent! Leo took care of me during my entire meal. I had steak and unlimited shrimp... And the shrimp just kept coming. The shrimp was crispy and hot, very tasty. The steak was prepared. Exactly as I requested, and it was juicy and tender. The hostess was very accommodating and knowledgeable, but what really made the experience memorable was the waitress. They have outside dining I'll put in the photo attached. No salad bar of course you go through the line and then exit the back door to get seated on the parking lot turned patio. Today the weather is perfect and the breeze is perfect so it is extremely pleasant. The Texas toast today is the best ever in my life. The big bottle of dos equis makes a couple glasses. Waiting on my shrimp. I started with the spinach cranberry salad and it was excellent. Shrimp 3 ways is perfect. This is one of only two Sizzlers's left in San Diego. It seems that every time I go to a new Sizzler, I have to synchronize with a new server. I have been going to this restaurant since it reopened after the Pandemic, and I must say, it is excellent. All the people are great. And my new server Hugo, it the best. He knows my likes and dislikes, and always seems to know when I come in, bringing my water l, lemon, etc., almost the same time I sit down. Amazing!
