We just had another wonderful meal at this Sizzler. We both had the steak and Malibu Chicken, and they, of course, had us cut the steaks to make sure we were happy with our medium rare steaks. They were perfect as always. The cheese toast was so good and we were given the extra Malibu sauce I always order. With an extra 10% off for my past military service, our meal came to just $26 for both of us. After paying more than $50 in San Francisco last week for less food and poor tasting at that, this Sizzler made us appreciate living here that much more! Not happy with service or the lack of. Wheelchair access is nonexistent and especially dangerous if there was an emergency. Just finished eating here! I will not be back. The service is horrible. Even from the manager. My son waited for 1-1/2 for his food that they obviously forgot about. Asked the waitress serval times for ice refill that never came. Manager came over and was supposed to get my son his refill on his drink which never came either. Couldn't even get a " to go box"! Great food! The cilantro lime sea bass was outstanding and a very healthy portion which was a nice surprise. The Carnitas in the salad bar was probably the most tasty that I have ever had. I love that they will toss the ingredients together for your salad now. Even the baked potato was very tasty and as always the cheese toast is the best. read more

Honestly this place is too hyped up for what its worth. Beyond the decor and remodeling, it is almost the same run down in service sizzler that it was. When i first got there i had high hopes for the change as many members of my family use to eat at this sizzler before it closed for remodeling. The appearance is nice but the food that is made to order is just not that great . I ordered the cedar salmon, which came out looking amazing on the plate but while i was eating the salmon bits of the burnt wood kept falling off into my food and i found it very unappetizing and then i tried the mashed potatoes and found a long piece of plastic wrap mixed into them.... ( shown on plate in picture below ) I ended up not eating the food and sticking to the salad bar for food. I didn't bring the problem up to the manager because I was honestly so disappointed and didn't plan to be a return customer at that point. read more

So, I came to sizzler about 30 min ago and they just reopened, walking in very odd but not anything new just every employee, which is about 20-25 kids, comes up to you and greets you. Come to ordering was normal and fine just had to repeat myself a couple times, they ordered our drinks I had to ask 3 different people for them including a manager, then finally got it. I also asked 2 people for cheese bread and never received it. Also one being a manager. A couple of the salad plates were dirty nothing big, then to top it all off including this terrible service we find a hair on some fried shrimp, manager comes blames the company who makes the shrimp never takes fault and gave us a coupon for the next visit. Which probably won't be any time soon. A lot of staff with little to no knowledge of a full service.. disappointing. read more

Oh how i love you sizzler. Your bread is amazing, the all you can eat shrimp is amazing. Great shrimp sauce as well. Just keep em coming. Steak here is very tasty and a good portion. Price is excellent. Good wuantities and great tasting food for not alot of money. Ima big fan of the all you can eat salad bar. The salads are great and the options for the soup are good and solid tasting. Ilabsolutly love the chicken wings here. Tasty crunchy and big in size. Love the bread pudding. Thanksgiving dinner...The Best. Like home cooked meal. When I phoned in the "To Go" order I asked Liza did she know if the Thanksgiving dinner was good? YES...everyone who works here had the meal so we could advise our customers...and it is The Best! We were doing take out for two but after Liza's recommendation changed the order to three so we could have the traditional leftovers. EVERYTHING the turkey with stuffing, green beans (lightly seasoned) the mashed potatoes and gravy, the sweeet potato (baked) with maple butter, the best cranberry sauce and the pumpkin pie...The Best Thanksgiving Dinner. FANTASTIC! We haven't been to sizzler since we were kids and decided to go on a whim. We were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and professional, the restaurant was super clean and newly remodeled. Our food was great and the beer was nice and cold. Our little guys ate a bunch too and had a good time in the oversized booths, very comfortable. All in all we had a great time. 4/5 due to some of the pastas at the salad bar needed to be refreshed but I'm sure they would have hooked it up if we asked. The place looks great after being remodeled. It is the best looking Sizzler I have ever been to now that I think about it. I had a BBQ burger of some sort. My wife and daughter got the salad bar deal. Honestly, everything was fresh but something about all of the food I tried/sampled lacked realness to it. From chicken wings, soup, onion rings, fries etc., everything tasted too salty, artificial or bland. This restaurant gave us an amazing Thanksgiving meal! They welcomed us in and made us feel comfortable right away. They served us quickly so that we don't have to wait long since we're very hungry, and making sure everyone got what they needed. The ordering process was quick and easy. Paulette would always come and check in on us and she talked to every one of the family so that no one is left out. The server at our table named Claudia was so attentive to our every need. Whatever we wanted, she got it for us and she would respond politely and joyously to let us know that we aren't a bother to her when we ask for so many things like extra soda or cranberry. I was so excited to go to Sizzler in Ontario but I'm so sorry I went!!! The line was about 25 min wait time but once you got seated the bad service begin! Our waiter started by repeating our order and brought out our drinks all good. Waited for refill of drinks and was asked if we were interested in cheese bread said yes about 20 mins later my husband gets his salad and our waiter mentions that the bread should be out soon. Another 10mins and she goes to another table that got there much later and gives them the bread!!! By this time we had gotten our food and finally by the time she got our we were already done eating. The party that got there much later looked like they had an associate or employee of sizzler having dinner there full blown service to that table so obvious that the cook came out as well as all waiters making sure the were all taken care of!!! I love sizzler even it is so old or dirty. I think we go to the restaurant for food not for decor or environment. I do understand many people use eyes to eat, but this place has a really good flavors. The beef stew soup has a really deep flavor not from the seasoning or msg broth. Salad has many choices to choose from such as blueberry and strawberry salad, cucumber salad etc. In my opinion the place is really out of date and dirty, but i do not mind.
