I came into this restaurant after not having been here in a while. The ambiance and atmosphere were very good (Padre game on tv). Haven't been there in a while (we live out of town now). The Sizzler has been remodeled and is really nice and more modern. It was also a pleasant suprise to see one of our most favorite servers, Jeaneen, was still working at Sizzler. She was a server at another Sizzler location we frequented many, many years ago. She was cheerful and made sure everything was okay. My wife had the fried shrimp entree and I had the tri-tip entree and salad bar. Food was excellent. I should of forgone the fries for something else as my side, as the potato wedges on the salad bar looked much more appealing. The chocolate brownies were a great way to finish the meal. Glad we went. Next time we are out on the coast again, we will definetly go back. read more

This was my 2nd time eating at Sizzler in 3 weeks. It was such a good lunch meal I had that when I told my sister about it, she wanted to go. The place is clean including the women's bathroom. I met a staffer there while she was checking it out and wiping down the sink area. We both ordered a steak and shrimp combo with the salad bar as an extra. It also included soups, tacos, spaghetti and chicken wings . It's not real Italian or real Mexican, but it's the same flavor and style as in the original old days. Desserts were only fruits, puddings and real whipped cream but that's okay. I like those things. When our steak and shrimp entrees were brought to our table, I was disappointed. My sirloin looked like one third of it was missing. It was not the same size as the one I got 3 weeks earlier. Thickness and width was the same, but not the length. I asked the waitress why it looked like that and she said they cut and weight them to be the same weight. I think she said 6 or 7 ounces. I said to her that may be how it's done but I got cheated. And I asked her where's the rest of my steak? I showed her a picture of my steak from before so she could see the difference. She then said she would go tell the manager. Well, it was not the manager that came but the young cashier who took my order. I repeated my story and question to him. He gave the same response as the waitress about how they cut them and weight them before cooking. No resolution and he walked away. I understand they are trained to give certain responses when customers question the service or quality of food. But there was no good customer service given, only canned responses. Very disappointing. It's like I was not being heard, just ignored. Next up, an older gentleman arrived table-side, Luis, a manager. He asked how could he help me. I told him my steak is much smaller than the one I got when I was here before. He gave me the same canned answer that the waitress and the cashier guy gave me before. Then I showed him the picture I took from last time. I said this steak today and that one in the picture are the same width, but you can clearly see the length is much longer for the one in the picture. He looked and then asked me, "How can I make it right for you?" Finally! This is how good customer service is supposed to work! He asked the customer, me, what I needed him to do to fix this situation. I said I want a steak exactly the same size as the one in the picture that I got the last time I was here. He also made sure to ask how well should it be cooked. Medium rare for me please and thank you. He got a smaller plate from the salad buffet and took away my disappointing steak to the kitchen. A little bit later Luis came back with a steak exactly the same as I wanted. All was finally as it should be. Then after a while Luis returned with another older gentleman, Jose. Maybe he's a co manager. They came to check how satisfied I was with the new steak. It was finally the right size and yes, cooked perfectly. I thanked them for listening to me and asking what I needed, and then doing it. I told them I would post a good review because they took care of me. They were happy and gave me a Yelp card so I could post my review. Not sure how that works, but here it is. Thanks Luis for great customer service!! Sorry yelpers, with all the excitement I forgot to take pictures. The food is fresh and good. Steaks were tender and cooked to your preference. Sizzler is still a good value for the price. read more

Thank you very much to our server Carlos who was very attentive, kind, and hospitable when serving us tonight. It's been a while since eating at sizzlers since there renovations. So, coming back tonight after a while was actually a nice experience. The seared salmon was really good and, of course Carlos checking in on us every now and then. I liked the fact that after we were finished with our dinner. My boyfriend and had started our bible study after dinner. And Carlos asked us if we wanted coffee. All in all, he was very welcoming till the end. He didn't shew us off after we were done eating. Didn't rush us out. Just allowed us to enjoy our evening at Sizzlers for a Monday evening dinner. Our childhood comfort place! My husband and I are geriatric millennials and sizzlers is one of our comforts!! We come here when we want to reminisce about birthday/special occasion dinners. The food is always good and tastes the same way it did when we were children. The service is fast and attentive. Their servers are always attentive and sweet, specially Leah! The location is easy to get to, the restaurant is kept clean, they play 80s and 90s music, and keep the games on the TV. We like to come weekday evenings when it's less busy. We walked in an attempted to order a small plate. The description stated that the meal includes a side salad and one additional side. We could not for the life of us get the cashier or even the manager to understand that we were not asking for a senior special and did not want a free drink. Even the manager insisted that we would get a free drink because we were seniors if we use the senior menu. We were not interested in the senior menu and could not convince them otherwise. Additionally they insisted that the small plate did not include a separate side for the sirloin tips because it came with rice. It doesn't state that anywhere on the menu as shown in the attached picture. We ended up walking out and eating somewhere else because after 20 minutes of discussion they could not figure out that we just wanted the small plate of sirloin tips with side salad and garlic mash potatoes shown on the menu. read more

I went to sizzler tonight 3/4/25. The new remodeling is nice. They made little changes. I ordered the steak and lobster and salmon dinner. The bread and my steak and lobster came out cold. They gave me a salad bar in place of the salmon I ordered. I was turned off by the service because before they remolded the place I would recommend them to anyone. The quality of service was better before however when I told the sever as I placed my hand on the steak and lobster for a long time explaining the food was cold and I should not be able to hold the food in my hand if it was hot. He offered to reheat the food which the steak was not how I requested so I told him as long as the steak is not too tough and the lobster is not rubbery. He ended up bringing the manager and I must say they brought out the correct order and remade my plate. The meal came out fresh and hot and it was delicious. They started off bad but corrected what they did so for that I appreciate it. Normally I would give them less stars but they were good before they remodeled and I plan on going back to see if the service and quality is the same or do I need to find a new place to eat. read more

I haven't been to a Sizzlers for at least more than 15yrs!!! All of a sudden I was craving the OG Steak and all you can eat Shrimp. I was so surprised they still offered it after so many years!
