Good place to eat. I liked the set up of menus and salad bar a lot. I had the cilantro fish but I didn't like it because it's overwhelmed with butter and I don't really like too much of that, plus, was very pricy I love the salad bar! I could pay more than the 8+ dollars price for it. I would definitely recommend sizzlers but just be careful while ordering because if not, you could end up spending over $70 for two in a meal. 2 Thumbs up for the employees they are very attentive and check on your table often to see if you need anything and kept my table clean of dirty dishes the whole time I was there. read more

Son wanted to go to burger joint, but I felt like a salad, so I talked him in to going to sizzler. Placed his order for a bacon cheeseburger then I said I'll take the salad bar. Cashier said they aren't offering salad bar at this time. Should have walked out, but saw a special offering steak and all you can eat shrimp, so I got that and a side caesar salad. Salad was good, but not worth the $5.50 price. Entrees arrived after quite a wait and they were very disappointing. Sons burger was fine, but the amount of fries was lacking. My steak was super small and overcooked. Medium should have some pink, mine had none. The all you can eat shrimp were what most restaurants call popcorn shrimp. Even though it is all you can eat, I figured it would be normal sized shrimp, not popcorn shrimp. The service was outstanding, but the food was not even close to the $60 price our bill came to. I will not be back unless they open the salad bar. I see no way this place can survive unless they open that back up. read more

when first entering about 4pm, the place was empty but every table was dirty not one clean table to sit at so we had to sit in the way back. The place was not busy and there was more than enough waiters to service the tables. after receiving the food one of our guest couldn't even chew one piece of the sirloin tips, my other guest couldn't eat her steak because it was so tuff too and full of gristle. The salad bar was almost empty as well to. when my father bitten into the chicken it was pure blubber and he almost throw up. this is the last time I go there you couldn't pay me to eat there. Husband and I had lunch today at this lovely establishment today. We come here a couple times a month. Every time is always a treat. From taking your order to drink refills the staff is ALWAYS professional and polite. The salad bar section is ALWAYS clean and organized. If and a big if the bath rooms are a little out of wack they are taken care right away. No matter how busy or slow the crowd ( we've been there at all times) this establishment is two thumbs up and more. Irene took our order and was extremely friendly and greeted us with a huge smile. I ended up ordering a trio, which came with a steak, ribs, and shrimp. She asked if I would like to upgrade my steak and told me my options. When I asked her how the rib eye was, she said it was excellent, and she wasn't lying! It was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly! The ribes were also absolutely fantastic! The meat was falling right off the bone. Definitely recommended eating here! I used to go to Home Town Buffet in Turlock when it was really good. When Sizzler first opened up in 2007 in Turlock I tried it, I liked it, I have kept coming back ever since. Myra has been serving the longest. Very nice, pretty smile, and so helpful. The food is very good, all the servers are very nice and helpful. Irene is nice and is currently the manager. She always goes to each table to make sure all guests are being well taken care of and always says hi to me. I've known Caesar for several years before he became General Manager. After all these years he still has his sense of humor :) The prepares are always maintaining the 'All You Can Eat Salad Bar Buffet' and keeping it clean from messy customers..lol! Don't go to Sizzler . No customer service just numbers and recordings. They cheated me out of a 25 Dollar gift card saying the money just disappeared. Also changed items on salad bar never has been the same. read more

This will be a pretty specific review, but I've been getting the ribeye steak here every now and then for a year or three. The vast majority of the time, the flavor and cook on the steak is great. Service is generally quick and easy when ordering to go. Staff is always friendly which is nice. The vibe in the place is pretty standard Sizzler, but it's been a long time since I've sat down to eat there. If you're hungry for a ribeye, it's a solid option. I am saddened that I have to drive to Turlock to take family out to lunch to go to Sizzler. It is pretty bad that the tables that are not booths are on the other side of the restaurant which is not very senior friendly (someone who is not as agile or mobile). We were seated, three of us got our salad bars and the 4th got situated at the table and made his coffee to his taste. We were given 2 slices of the cheese toast for 4 people. When we asked for more from our server Jolene- she specifically asked 2 or 4? We requested 4 slices. THEY NEVER CAME. She offered refills, but didn't take the old cups. The 4 tops were not that big especially with the condiment caddy in the center. A disappointing trip for service. We do not get down that way often so it is a treat when we do. read more

We love going to Sizzler. The food is usually really good, but this time the texture of the crab salad was just bad. The chicken wings, which is my fav, seemed to be heated too long and were really hard to bite. The syrups for ice cream were empty. One really bright spot was our server Yadira. What happened ? Was there last Tuesday ordered the sirloin and all you can eat shrimp. And this what I was served. .a two bite cut, a few shrimp ..asked for more shrimp .witch I did get 20 min later .over cooked .the shrimp was crispy as the breaded part .. sry won't be coming back anytime soon... read more

This place is so gross! Super dirty the ground was covered with garage and food under the so called clean tables. I was grossed out I couldn't even eat my food. After a long trip I just wanted some good food and clean place to eat. I was staying at holiday inn next door so it was close so I didn't have to drink and drive. Super dirty I have to say again. The steak was so gross also the first and only bit I took. I told the manger but he did nothing not even offer a refund for money since I didn't eat the food. I couldn't eat or did I even get the second beer I paid for. Super gross. This place needs cleaned big time. I have not got up like that and walked out after paying and not eating a $50.00 plate in a long time! read more
