We came in this past Friday and had the pleasure of being taken care of by Steven (honestly one of the best servers we've had in a long time!) He encouraged me to try a piña colada for the first time ever, and I was super impressed! He really knew his stuff, explained everything perfectly, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. One of the biggest surprises for me was the bleu cheese. I normally don't even think of that as an option for my wings but Steven explained how theirs is made in-house and after trying it, it has more of a hint of whipped cream cheese flavor with the perfect ratio of bleu cheese. Both of us loved it, and my boyfriend is a very picky person but he wouldn't stop talking about it for the rest of the day! We also tried a few appetizer staples like the garlic parm aioli fries and ranchero tots. Don't even get us started on the smoked wings!! They blew us away! The prices during happy hour are insanely good for the quality of food and service you get here. What really stood out though wasn't just the food, it was the energy of the whole place. It's been a coooo minute I haven't been to Wings and Rings (probably before the pandemic?) until I order through a third party app last night. I remember their wings used to be fat and juicy. Now I feel like they change the recipe up a bit. They don't seem as big as before. However they were okay. I got the Garlic Q with medium heat and Mango Habanero boneless. I really liked the Mango Habanero ones. I think the sweetness balances out well with the spice. The Garlic Q ones were ok. Dined in the restaurant after a school event, it was not busy at all, took 15 minutes to be seated, another 30 minutes for the waitress to come around and even take our drink order. There were 2 parties that came in after us that had their food and drinks before we even got our drinks. The server never came around to check on us for refills.
