We started with the Argentine empanadas served with bone marrow and chimichurri--two good-sized empanadas for $24. Great flavor and a solid way to kick things off. For my entrée, I ordered the hanger steak cooked medium--it came out perfect. It was served with Roth Fries, which might honestly be the best garlic fries I've had in a long time. Fresh garlic, Parmesan, parsley... just done right. The steak was topped with chimichurri and came with two dipping sauces--everything worked. My wife ordered the Kung Pao Street Noodles with grilled prawns ($36), and she loved it. Overall, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a standout experience. However, the toast menu doesn't match the menu on table 26's own website. When I pointed this out to the staff member I was told that if I wanted one of those items I could come in and order it in person. I clarified that the person wouldn't accept call in orders and they told me they don't have the ability to do that(despite it saying on yelp that you can call to order). I'm not sure if the phone lines have been outsourced or something else, but any place that makes it this hard for me to be a customer has lost me as one. It's unfortunate as this used to be one of Turlock's gems for both food and service.

If I had to rate this restaurant, I would have given it a 4 on my first visit but a 1 on my second visit.
