While walking towards those from the parking lot, I saw a sign that said $10 for two hot dogs fries and a Coke I think it was. You're quite a number of choices and I decided to get a pastrami sandwich. It was fantastic. He had told me that they make the bread themselves and it was all amazing! I asked the owner his name and he said it was Ray, I think. I feel pretty dumb cuz I asked him twice. He was interesting to talk to and was a very nice man. I'm sad I don't come down here that often anymore unless I'm going to USC hospital but you can bet I'll be stopping at "Da Fire Pit". I thought the hot dog offerings looked very good The fries he made me were excellent as was the Pastrami sandwich. A few other guys were sitting at the picnic benchs and said that they had been there recently since they're from the area and said that they loved stopping there for lunch. Two of the people told me to try the chicken sandwich next time. I'm going to find reasons to come back soon. The prices are good too. The stand is located between the Lowe's entrance and the Lowe's exit making it a perfect place to stop for a quick lunch or snack before or after you shop. Ambience wise, it's not much, but what can you really expect out of a hot dog stand located in front of a Lowe's? Regardless, the food is yummy and the service is good.
