Patrick was friendly but seemed a bit distracted. (May have been short-staffed because Atlantic was closed westbound due to a fatality). This was our 1st visit. Found it strange that entrees were served with one slice of bread/toast instead of two. Keto dish scrambled was overcooked but served hot. Bagel with everything was an extra charge with Denver Skillet. Iced coffee...never was asked if we wanted another Greek salad lacked enough feta cheese to really qualify as Greek...not large enough to take any home for $14.95 May try again for lunch since the service and atmosphere are pleasant but doubtful the cost/value will keep folks coming back often. read more

We were 14 ladies for lunch today and were so pleased with everything. The manager set us up in a small room in a U shaped configuration so everyone had a chance to be near others. They were kind enough to give us separate checks which was great. The food was terrific and the service was excellent. There is plenty of outdoor seating if you so choose. Went on a weekday morning so it was very quiet which is perfect for me. Food was ok, i thought it was a tad too pricey for breakfast but it is what it is. Wanted a Benedict but the only hollandaise they have is sun dried tomato infused and I can't stand those. I ended up w avocado toast, I got fruit and it was an up charge. I don't mind paying more at all when it's good. The fruit was mostly pineapple w some grapes. Not so appealing. Service was slow. To get to us, to take our order and to bring the check. The food was really very good. The whole grain pancakes with pecans had very good flavor, as did the orange syrup. The pork sausage was flavorful without tasting too strongly of pork. The waffles were really fluffy and soft. The most outstanding thing, however, was the service. From the moment we walked in, everyone was very friendly. Our server, Mallory, was great. the overall experience can be described as a mixture of highs and lows. while nothing reached an exceptionally negative or outstanding level, i will say there were certain discrepancies in the order accuracy. the servers were very polite and happily rectified it. an interesting observation was the variation in portion sizes, with some dishes generously sized while others disappointingly petite ( we had a party of five, each of which ordered different items, which made the contrast even more apparent). the side of fruit suprisingly meager, comprising a mere two grapes, a slice of pineapple, and half of a strawberry per serving. We were three guys who went to skillets on 9/5/23.(check#6) The delray Beach location. One of us ordered the Panegger which happened to be excellent. The two of us ordered the Breakfast skillet which I thought would have been their trademark dish. The dish had no taste and the portion side was for a child. Who in the world gives 1 slice of bacon with an entree? The biscuit was so flaky that it crumbled in your hand and was difficult to butter. The good news is that the restaurant looks great. It is light and very inviting. Other good news is that our server Mallory gave us good service. Should we chalk this up to growing Pains??? read more

Unfortunately, we left disappointed. First, we were shocked how overpriced the food was and it was not very good. The French toast was unappetizing and not what French toast is supposed to look or taste like. The hash browns were undercooked and bland. I met my friend at Skillets today for brunch. we haven't been there in a while. I forgot how great it is. I am gluten-free so that is always a little tricky and always helpful when they have choices. In this case, I had one of the skillets plus did get the gluten-free pancake as that is an upgrade since they don't have gluten-free toast. The best dollar I've spent. I haven't had a pancake in nine years. They also give a pot of coffee so you don't have to keep bothering the servers. Our server Patrick was very helpful and friendly. he really accommodated us. I reviewed when it was newish. I went back today with my son and wow. It has been discovered! Be prepare to wait on weekends, but worth it.Atmosphere is bright and cheerful, great menu and great service. They are open!!! My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place is brand new and is kept impeccably clean. Our food came out very quickly and was absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive with many great options for those trying to eat healthy. We were so impressed with our waitress Emma. She was informed, accommodating and you could tell she enjoyed working there. Food is always good, as their flagship location on Glades. What is lacking is the attention to detail by their youthful wait staff. They are very pleasant, however they need to pay close attention to a customer's request. I ordered the smoked nova platter with a toasted everything bagel and Caesar dressing on the side. I repeated those specific request to the waitress twice more before she left. When our meals arrived, they brought a plain bagel and ranch dressing. I quickly reminded this different server of my original request and they promptly supplied the correct items. My wife's meal was a hot entry, but both of us didn't receive our silverware until I requested from yet another different server. The restaurant has outdoor seating. We had to wait to be seated outdoors despite their being empty tables as the restaurant appeared short staffed. They are trying to rectify this as a help wanted sign was placed in the window. I ordered an iced tea which was fine and a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The chicken was tender and not stringy with mayonnaise. it was simply prepared without any fancy embellishments. my partner had a Ruben sandwich which he said was pretty good. it was not overstuffed like the local delis and the bread was of the packaged variety as opposed to bakery bread. The prices were reasonable--more so than the local delis. I did not eat the accompanying potato pancake. it appeared to be made from the same grated potatoes as restaurants use for hash browns. The potato pancake tasted as if it were not fully cooked inside and eggy. I passed on eating it. I would return if I wanted a simple lunch. I have not tried their breakfast dishes in which they might shine. i would return if I were looking for nourishment. read more
