So yesterday I found Moses in Broadway Plaza, or should I say he found me! :) After about 5 mins of small talk about my eyes and current regimen, he offered me a sample of Skin17's eye correcting serum. This place is all about hard sales. The young lady working the outdoor display asked if she could try a product on me called VenoFYev eye lift serum. I said sure why not. Well she tried it on me and it did work. I asked the price of the serum and it was $400.00. I said sorry, but no thanks. Then she started the hard sales pitch and I was willing to listen. I said no, then she wanted to show me another product. When it was all said and done I walked out with three products for less then $400.00. But the whole problem started when she asked me to try their face and neck lifting facial. She assured me it was a free demonstration of the product, no sales because I had already made a purchase. Again I thought why not. She walks me to the spa and they take me into the facial room. A young man came in and started the facial. After the facial on only one side of my face. He starts his sales pitch while I am laying on a facial table feeling pretty vulnerable. The product started at $8000.00 then went down to $2000.00. I kept saying no I need to think about it. Finally I looked at my watch said I have to meet my daughter. He said let me finish the other side of your face. I let him finish and he still was giving the sales pitch. I finally said that is enough I have to go. I was so upset by the whole mess that I returned the other products I purchased. It was a terrible experience. I have found the products to be high quality and effective. I held back one star because of their very persistent sales techniques. I believe that "if it's a good decision today, it's a good decision tomorrow" and once I expressed that, they backed off the urgency for an instant purchase. I think they may do better to price the products more reasonably to begin with as a 50% reduction in cost exposes an overpriced product to begin with. Hydrafacial treatment done today by Cynthia. As always loving the result on my face - it gave my big face and neck some contour. A bit disappointed though, since thelight treatment was not available. Last time I had it done by Nadie, I saw the difference with my dark spots - it was lightened and with the oxygen spray my face looked healthy and dewy. I've been using the ReservaLife products for about a month now and I got a compliment,from a friend, about how " nice " my skin looked I have a facial scheduled next week with Josef and I'm looking forward to it. It's a little embarrassing , just a little.
