I'm very pleased to say that my experience with this business exceeded my hopes and expectations. I consulted with a rep. while still home in Jersey and went through the process of answering some questions about what I wanted in a design and he had me text over some photos to show to his artist(Keebs), who then made sketches for me to examine on the day of my appt. Keebs was recommended to me due to his ability to work with multiple colors. I made my deposit, traveled to Vegas and met with Keebs who showed me the sketches he prepared, and we decided how big the Tattoo would be and exactly where I wanted it to be on my arm. When I was satisfied and ready, Keebs performed the work, taking great care and time and the tattoo met my dreams perfectly. It was an outstanding and wonderful job and the pain factor was much less than I had anticipated. The environment was spotless and very bright. Everyone I met and worked with were great. I felt very comfortable during the whole process and I feel the pricing was more than reasonable considering the outcome of the work and the amount of time it took to make my permanent artwork to look the way it does. My only regret was the morning after, just shortly before my flight home, I had a bit of an embarrassing panic attack over what the tattoo was doing under the clear bandage Keebs put on me to protect the fresh work. It looked as though the ink was smearing and running and I thought something had gone very wrong. I texted the rep., texted some photos of what I was concerned with and he reached out to Keebs, who informed me that this was totally normal and part of the healing and aftermath process and when I take the bandage off to start the cleaning and lotion treatment everything will be fine and he was right. I want to be clear that this review would have been different if Yudel and the booking staff took responsibility for their lack of action in this matter. I am incredibly disappointed by Yudel and the booking staff for their failure in addressing my issue. The tattoo that I wanted was not delivered. The staff have failed to be timely in providing a solution to this. I have requested that the tattoo removal costs be covered as this has gone on for 1 month. This review is a result of the following reasons: 1. The tattoo Yudel created was not what I requested nor was it like what he drafted. I am now in mental and emotional distress trying to find a solution to a permanent piece tatted on my entire thigh while the artist takes no responsibility. He has since ghosted me and has not answered my texts. We were on a text and phone call basis. 2. In addition, my service was unsatisfactory. The following actions of the artist does not represent Skin Design well, and I am disappointed: - During the sketch period, Yudel was taking personal calls to purchase a car. This took away from my personal experience in which I spent over $3500 to come to Vegas for. - I had to help find designs myself. He spent more than half of my first session sketching while looking for other material when I had already sent him these beforehand. He originally requested via both phone and text that I send everything early so he could pre sketch before the session. This didn't happen. - When I told him I didn't like the face of the tattoo, he made no efforts to resolve the issue other than telling me the piece was hard. This happened twice. He mentioned coming back for a touch up, but the piece was not fixable. It wasn't only after I left that I started to realize all of the other mistakes on the piece. - His second session took over 14 hours. This has resulted in a rushed tattoo. You can see that the right back half of my tattoo is rushed and sloppy. - He was late for BOTH of my sessions - I've heard no formal apology from Yudel. It is unprofessional to be ghosted by your own artist. Had he admitted he needed more sessions or he couldn't do the piece, this would have been a better experience. I would have requested another artist and come back for additional sessions. His behavior makes me question if he's acted this way with other clients. - I've been provided the bare minimum solutions by your staff in order for you to keep as much money as possible for the company. This include discounted removal rates and asking me to travel to Vegas 8 times, which would have resulted in an additional $5000 out of pocket travel expenses for 8 removal sessions. - The artist shared personal business information in which he mentioned Robert (the enterprise owner) wanting him to be a managing partner while noting that the other artists in the shop didn't know. - I sent quotes to negotiate assistance on getting my tattoo removed and it's been 5 days with no response. This is not the first my phone calls/messages have not been returned. - The artists immediately unfollowed my IG after I expressed my disappointment. This tells me he knows he is wrong but will not admit it. read more

This was my first visit, but if ever in Las Vegas again, this will be my go-to tattoo shop and Keebs, my go-to artist! I been working with Yudel since last year , he did my neck and now my sleeve. This artist is very professional about his work, he goes into the smallest details. This company doesn't care for customer satisfaction. Some great artists but the process for appointments and securing designs make for horrible experiences. Don't expect to see designs until 2 hours into your appointment. And don't expect your artist to be on time. There are other artists in Vegas who can do work that's just as good at studios with far more respect for the whole process. read more

I even recommended the shop at Caesars Palace where they have Sneakers and Barbers! The Staff is super friendly and the Artists are super talented! Feb 5th, 2023, marked my 10 year anniversary for being brain tumor/cancer free. I am now in remission and wanted to celebrate with something special that means a lot to me. great work, horrible communication and ethic. I have scheduled 6 sessions with this company and Claude. not one time did we start on the time I had paid for. I dont understand the point of discussing the piece prior to the date, and having me come in for a consultation. when the artist doesn't began anything till the day of when you're supposed to start the actual piece. I've had to wait for him to correct his pieces multiple times because he wanted to try his own thing instead of listening to what I discussed and pictures I used for reference. schedule for 10:30am, he usually never started till 3:00pm. I was sitting in the waiting room for almost 5 hours every day before he was finally ready to start tattooing. He didn't even finish my tattoo because he ran out of time... Scheduled another touch up with another artist of theirs, but Jaylan never locked it into the schedule so I had to find out the day of I wasn't getting work done. Took time off for no reason... I'd think after spending $15000 dollars towards there "team" I'd get a little better treatment. read more

My experience happened at the other location on Spring Mountain but since they're one in the same I thought I would share my review here too. Plain and simple we got robbed!! We don't live in Vegas but we were recommended to this place and specifically to Lot. For two small wrist tattoos we were quoted $300-$400 with a $150 deposit per tattoo. Since this isn't my first or second tattoo I expected the heavens to come down for that premium price. We gave them creative freedom on one tattoo with a general idea of what we wanted. We sent pictures over for the second. When we got there no sketches were done. Then on the tattoo we gave creative freedom to we were asked for a picture for reference. Had I known we had the option to walk we would have. We went back and forth on designs for over an hour. The whole tattoo process for both took less than that. I sadly was on the phone with the airlines dealing with our cancelled flight while the final payment was being taken care of. This was my friends first tattoo and he wasn't too familiar with how much a tattoo should cost. Nor the rapport that should take place during the entire process. When I tried to contact AJ the booking agent for some sort of compensation he pretty much blamed me for not being present during the final payment. He said I could have paid the shop mimimim which was the $150 deposit had I been at the register. But since I wasn't he can only offer merch or a credit for our next tattoo! He said because the account is closed there's no possibility to get any money back. We paid $800!!!! He would not even credit the $200 for the minimum we were quoted. There's Venmo. Facebook pay. Pay Pal. I mean really! I got a full colored rib tattoo done in Hawaii for not even half this price. These people don't have a conscience. Find another place to get work done. read more

This isn't the fully finished piece but I'm too excited for the full outcome to wait and leave my review! My artist was Yudel and let me tell you he has the patience of a saint. This is my first big piece so I wanted it to be perfect. I had the general concept of what I wanted and a few photos for reference. We chose one we thought could work but it ended up being to dark to really see details so he kindly helped me look through so many different photos till I found one that I truly liked. He really let me be a part of the whole process when deciding what to edit, size, and exact location. I had to change the size about 2 or 3 times and obviously felt so bad about being picky but he kept reassuring me that it's fine and he would rather do a piece I was 100% satisfied with than rushing the process. While during the actual tattoo session he consistently checked in seeing if I needed a break or to get up and stretch since the position I was in wasn't the best on my hips. I will definitely do an updated review once we fully finish. But I cannot recommend Yudel enough as your next artist! read more

I asked when I could come in to get it done especially because I was leaving town soon. This review is strictly based on the shop's staff. The artist was a guest artist. He was nice and did an amazing job on the tattoo. I booked my appointment with Jay via text. I sent him a picture of the piece I wanted and was told it was considered a full-day tattoo. I was given a quote of $1800 to $2000 and was required to put half price down upfront, no problem. I was told a full day was considered 5-8 hours. the artist took exactly 5 hours which included 2 breaks. The front desk girl looked at me all surprised and said, are y'all done? she came over and said to the artist several times "you're fast" with an expression on her face as if to say he needed to slow down so he can make his full day time frame. At least that's what I got from her facial expressions. I was expecting to be charged the $1800 since we were at the minimum time for a full day, but was told I needed to pay the full 2k. I asked why I would be charged the maximum amount and was at the bare minimum timeframe to even meet their full day hours, but was only told " I didn't book this so I cannot change the price" I know it's only $200 and I planned on tipping the artist $100, but for me, it's the principal. I decided not to leave a tip and the artist didn't have anything to do with this. I hate when someone tries to take advantage of a situation and that's exactly what Jay did in this situation. He quoted $1800-$2000 upfront and was going to charge that 2k regardless. Why not just quote me the full 2k upfront? I would have still accepted the quote, but would not feel cheated at the end. Skin Design is a huge brand with multiple shops and I expected them to operate with a little more integrity. This is my second tattoo with Skin Design and my husband has a few as well from Robert himself. $200 will be the exact reason we never use this shop again, which sucks because they do have great artists and do great work. read more

Just got back from my appointment. I had an amazing experience working with Yudel, his linework is incredible. Not only was the shop extremely clean, it felt like an art gallery. When you walk up to the shop, you'll see next-level talent. These artists are no joke! This is by far the nicest studio I have ever seen. Everything was well maintained and the operations were smooth. You can see all of the artists' work through the glass windows, even if you don't come in to get a tattoo - it's quite the show. My Mom wasn't fond of getting tattoos, but when she walked out, she was definitely considering it haha! Although I booked with Yudel, I met all of the other artists/staff that day, and they all made me feel extremely comfortable with getting my tattoo. Right across, you can even get a fresh haircut with one of the most talented barbers in the area! If you're a sneakerhead, you can walk downstairs and get bombarded with your selections to add to your collection. Other than that, whatever these guys are doing - they're doing something right.
