I can't lie. My first visit was so painful and chaotic, but I gave the benefit of the doubt and came back. The second time wasn't as bad. Unfortunately, after using 3/6 session of my Groupon, I don't see myself using the rest. I'll take that L, however, I value a good experience as a customer to anybody. The procedure was so uncomfortable and never in my years of getting laser has it ever been. There's no consideration or remorse for that. I think that's the worst part for me- is that it feels like they're purposefully inflicting pain on you. A very "just get over it" vibe. I also feel like just wiping equipment with a paper towel before using just doesn't sit right with me. They are relatively nice, but I can see how others can perceive them as rude or intimidating because they're very firm and direct, which I get. But honestly, it gets to a point. Instead, I asked them to push the appointment out by four weeks, which they did. The laser removal services are not bad. When it comes to micro blading, that's a different story. My eyebrows were tattooed uneven, one high and the other low, one thin and the other thick, one long and the other short. When I showed my dislike I was told she had to work around one of my eyebrows. That does not justify for one eyebrow to be high while the other is droopy. Also, one was thin and well drawn while the other was a complete mess. She messed up and over corrected. I was hoping to spend less time on make up or even not wear make up. Buyer beware. I purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal and this is the most unprofessional hair removal laser spas that I have ever been too. I can't wait to use up all of my appointments. I was talked to very rudely. They send text messages regarding appointments, but get very upset when you text back. If you call them, which I do, they act like they have no idea what is going on. Just recently I got a communication saying the machine was down, so I needed to reschedule. However, they put the responsibility of rescheduling on the client, which is unprofessional. If you call them on a particular day, they will tell you text you back to tell you to call another day. I think they need help with managing phone calls and appointments, along with training on communication skills, and how to deal with customers. But the Groupon was cheap, so there's that. However, I'd rather spend more money to receive better service, than poor service at an inexpensive one. I will not be supporting them when my Groupon visits have been used up. read more

I bought a Groupon for this place just out of curiosity. The owner, Niki is the one performing all the laser hair removal treatments. She performs the laser hair removal in a doctor's office. The equipment that she uses is called Alexandrite. Usually, when you have laser hair removal, you want to catch the hairs during the active growing phase (~6 weeks from previous treament). Niki mentioned that it doesn't matter what phase you are in, the Alexandrite will catch it. Pros: -Good prices compared other local laser hair removal places -Quick procedure -So far, effective results -Niki is extremely friendly and has many years of experience -Has Saturday hours (unlike some other places around the area) -Easy to schedule (she'll collaborate with you via text, which makes my life so much easier!) -Every once in a while, Skinrevite will run a special...just be sure to catch it. Cons: -Wherever I go, sterility is my biggest concern. There were times when I stepped into the room and the table had not been cleaned yet, but she would clean it right then and there. I stumbled upon this place because of groupon, but I'm deducting one star because they can be a little disorganized. Before they do anything on you, they make you fill out a form and I've marked that I've been on accutane recently, however the time frame from when I stopped using accutane, to now, is too short for lasers or a chemical peel that I was scheduled for. During my first microdermabrasion treatment, my esthetician there suggested I do mild chemical peels in between my microdermabrasion treatments for my acne scars. They definitely knew I was on accutane, however when I scheduled my chemical peel, I thought nothing of it because I was already getting dermabrasion treatments. When I arrived at my appointment, they asked again about my history of accutane, and Nikki decided that I needed to wait a little longer (for my own benefit, which I do appreciate). Because I had already previously filled in the paperwork so they were aware of my history with accutane, I felt it was a complete waste of time for me to drive all the way over just for me to be told I needed to wait. The only reason why I'm not that upset was because Nikki suggested another laser facial that would be more effective than the chemical peels and scheduled me for September. She threw in a chemical peel for 1/2 half off as well. I'm still coming consistently and I've had my 2nd microdermabrasion. I am planning to get microblading on my eyebrows and laser hair removal here as well, when I'm cleared by September because they sold me on everything and the prices were extremely reasonable. At first, I was a bit skeptical about this place due to some of the negative reviews, but I decided to give it a try since anyways. All of doubts subsided as soon as I saw how caring Ms. Nikki and her staff were in accommodating me. After getting burned really bad on my underarms by Aisha salon, it was hard for me to trust any place to help me with underarm hair removal. I decided to get hair laser removal on my underarms and Brazilian area and although it was my first time--filled with lots of nerves and fear of overbearing pain-- Nikki walked me through everything. She answered all of my questions and concerns and offered great advice. She only charged me $175 for all 3 areas (both underarms and Brazilian) and even threw in a free microdermabrasion facial, which btw, was so relaxing and amazing! For the one bad review about the phone calls, she informed me that she was with a patient at the time and didn't mean to ignore them. Miss Nikki is so kind and shows she really cares about her patients. She's anything but rude! All in all, if you're looking for a place to get your hair laser removal done or facials for an affordable price with quality service and care, give this place a try! The employees were extremely nice and the salon was very clean and welcoming but the laser hair removal did nothing for my hair. Nothing at all. Nada. Zero. Zilch. They said they had the laser set to the highest 'legal' setting but my hair looks exactly the same as it did before undergoing the 10 or so treatments. I have extremely pale skin and extremely dark hair so I should be the perfect candidate for laser hair removal, but the lasers here didn't work. My partner heard of this place a couple of months ago while we were both thinking of getting laser hair removal. We called to schedule an appointment nearly two months ago. We were told that they were booked up and the earliest appointment would be today, so we booked it. The appointment was for today at 11am (I see that they list their Saturday hours as 10am, but they were not there at this time on a Saturday). We were asked to arrive 15 minutes early, so we arrived at 10:40. It's a bit confusing to find as they are a rented room in a salon suite. With help from someone, we found their room and waited. There was a note on the door saying that they were in session (they were not), so please call to let them know you're here. I called, and they did not answer. So I sent a text saying we arrived for the 11am appointment and they responded saying they would arrive in 5 minutes (they did not). While waiting, another woman was being helped to find the room. She asked if we were waiting and what time we were scheduled and it turns out we were both scheduled for 11am. A third woman shows up a bit later and asks what time our appointments are for. She was also scheduled for 11am. By this time, it's 11:05. Two other girls then arrive and call the number on the door saying they were here for their 11am appointment. Finally, at 11:20, two women walk in saying, "Sorry - traffic." That's all. They did not ask how long we've been waiting, ask who we all are, or give any more explanation than "traffic." They simply go into their rooms and then come out to ask who is new. My partner raised his hand and another woman also raised hers, so we were given paperwork and then they told a regular (who arrived after us) to come in for her appointment. This was just ridiculous customer service. My partner left his paperwork on the seat, and said he was canceling, so we left. He started getting texts asking if he left and he responded saying yes, he decided to cancel. She then started to send repeated texts and calling asking to speak to him saying she wanted the chance to explain. But as he said, what's to explain? We did what we were asked to do. She arrived 20 minutes late (we waited 40), she scheduled 4 people at the same time, did not acknowledge that we arrived first, or give an explanation at the time as to why we had to wait TWO MONTHs to share a reservation with 3 other people. My partner had planned his work schedule around this appointment we waited so long on and this level of unprofessionalism is not worth anyone's time or money. She wasted our time, so calling asking to give an explanation was too little too late. We left this spot and ended up going to New Look Aesthetic, another place we had heard about from a friend, and booked a package with them on the spot. I would not recommend SkinRevite at all. Im not sure how this place is getting this many good reviews. My experience here was HORRIBLE. NEVER COMING HERE. I come for a laser hair removal services I got from groupon. From what I heard on the phone I thought it was going to be a nice place. I told this lady I was getting the laser removal in which she told me to come in earlier than my appointment because of some emergency she had around my actual scheduled appointment. No problem. I rush there straight after work. But when I got there, (which i had a hard time finding) was a hole in the wall. Swallowed up by all the other businesses around them with barely a sign to tell you they are there. Just a laser hair removal sign. Upon getting there there wasn't but like one person there. I filled out my paper work and the lady blatantly asks me what im getting lasered right in front of the other customer which I felt uncomfortable doing as I am writing it down on paper?? I was embarrassed. Next, she asked me if I pencil in my eyebrows and I told her yes? She said, "they look good but they look fake. We offer microblading here..." and then proceeded to try and sell me on microblading and everything about it. Okay thats literally what im not here for. And thank you for telling me my eyebrows looked fake? Never heard that one before. Didn't tell me shit about the actual laser procedure I was getting and what I would be expecting. Strike one. After her rant, and I literally can not believe she even told me this, but told me the reason why she wanted me to come in early was because she needed her precious Cable tv at home that was getting put in. That was your family emergency??????? Strike 2. I am already annoyed as hell. Then tells her ass. to go take me back to the laser room. Which wasn't cleaned from the last client. Ummmm makes me wonder about all the other products/instruments you're using. 10 min later the lady finally comes in after her ass. "prepped me", which she was missing an entire spot I was getting lasered completely. I was wondering, does this place not need it?? I have no idea whats going on. When she came in to look at me she gasped and was like "Oh mY gOd!!!!!! You didn't shave???? Didn't I tell you that on the phone?!?!?" - No. No you did not. You made me rush the fuck there so you can have fucking tv later. So she whips out a razor and I kid you not, shaved where I was getting lasered so fast I thought she was going to cut me. Next, she proceeds to not tell me anything that she is doing, what this gel stuff is she is putting on me or any aftercare instructions.(Let me also point out, that when she put the gel on my face I wondered why she was getting so close to my bottom lip with the gel. She asked me a question and was about to respond, she shoved so much fucking gel IN MY MOUTH. I couldn't even respond to the question because I had to wipe that shit out of my mouth and she said absolutely nothing about it. Just goes straight in to lasering. Now even tho I do not know a whole lot about laser hair removal, I at least know there is a certain pattern you go in. This lady was all over the place and I know for a fact didn't hit any of the spots I was mentioning. I was in there for less than 2 mins. For 2 parts of my body. It felt like she just wanted me off the table. Once she told me she was done , she gave me ONE small napkin to "wipe my self off" -in a rude tone- with and some cream on a stick that I have no idea what it was. How VERY unprofessional. I was just sitting there dumbfounded. I can't believe I wasted my groupon on this place because that meant I had 6 more sessions here. Each time I went it was the same. Always shoving the fucking gel in my mouth, rudeness etc. I had one appointment here when I was sunburned and even told her she couldn't do one part because I had 2nd degree sunburn. I had the other place she could still work on and yet she wanted to cancel the whole thing, reschedule and walked out the room. I told her you can still do the other place like wtf???? I didn't just drive down here for nothing. There was also another instance where I didn't feel like tipping cause why the fuck would I for getting treated like this, and once she seen my put my wallet away (was staring straight at that) looked at me and then her ass. and said something in another language and then turned to me and said, she'll be checking you out now. Because I sighed, the owner became irate and began to raise her voice. She mimicked me sighing 4 or 5 times. She openly admitted that she indeed had raised her voice, and proceeded to scold me. They use a cooling gel before lasering the area, and she's very knowledgeable and answers all my questions confidently. Nikki is super friendly, easy to talk to, and super professional. She has a certain aura about her that's very approachable and welcoming. I adored that when I met her. Skinrevite Quick, Friendly, Great Results, Worth every Penny I started going to Skinrevite for Laser Hair removal last year and I've loved the results so far! Located inside the Imperial Medical Center, Skinrevite uses a room in a doctors office to perform the laser hair removal. Everything has been clean and orderly there and its been very comfortable. It takes me about 45 minutes to drive there but it's well worth the trip. I've been able to be in and out in 15 minutes, and they've been flexible with appointment times too, working me in once when I was in town an hour earlier then my appointment. Skinrevite's gone above and beyond when it comes to getting rid of every last hair, and I saw a large reduction in hair growth almost immediately. I had purchased a laser hair treatment package from Groupon. I had done research and read reviews about SkinRevite before purchasing the Groupon. The reviews were mediocre, some good, some not so much. Basically, the Groupon gave me 1 year of laser hair removal treatments (so about 9 visits). I went to Nikki for all the treatments. She herself would perform the treatments, and her assistant would help out. After each treatment, I would have burn marks and unsightly scars on my legs. Nikki would just tell me to continue exfoliating and placing aloe on my legs. It would take about 3-4 weeks for these marks to disappear, meaning I couldn't wear any dresses/skirts/shorts for those 3 to 4 weeks. I don't know what type of setting she used on my legs, but it gave me burns. I work in the aesthetic industry, and you're not supposed to over treat. With dark-skinned people, the provider MUST be careful with the settings, in order to prevent hyperpigmentation. After my last and final treatment with her in Aug. 2015, I had these marks for 2 months, and I still do! I've even purchased expensive creams to treat these scars. I basically have hyperpigmentation on my legs now because of her high setting on the laser. I will never go back to her for any more treatments. It will be 6 months in Feb. since my final treatments, and I will still have these unsightly marks. I don't recommend this place! read more
