I saw Catherine and she was so lovely, she talked me through every step of the way of my Botox. I know some people have experiences that they're being encouraged to get more or getting unsolicited advice about where they should get Botox but that was the OPPOSITE of my experience. I've been to Adriana for multiple services over the years including chemical peels, micro penning, & product selection for my daily skin care regimen. Audi is a face sculpting genius. I went to Audi a few weeks back for a consultation and she was very transparent and informative about my under eye filler procedure. Yesterday when I got the injections done by her, I was astonished by how much of an improvement it made. Under eye can sometimes look puffy and make your mascara bleed onto your under eye because the injection was done incorrectly, but she placed the filler in the perfect location. I've been to Skin Spirit twice now for a certain treatment and both have told me that they would link me with the correct specialist. I overlooked the first time they made a mistake. But for the same thing to happen again just baffles me. I called and told them specifically what I want to get done. I got scheduled today at 2:35PM. Everyone is very friendly so I have no bad things to say about the staff. But their communication needs to be a whole ton better. Again I went in today and was let down once more saying that the specialist I saw is not capable to do the treatment and will AGAIN link me up with the correct person. Very happy with the result of my treatment at SkinSpirit. Went in for a cortisone injection to treat a painful cystic pimple. The nurse practitioner who took care of me, Diane, was very friendly and professional. We talked about my skin and the benefits of cortisone and retinol; I'd never dealt with that type of acne. It took 24-36 hours for the raised pimple to flatten completely and I am very happy with the result. I'm hoping that the redness goes away soon and will continue to use the retinol samples she gave me. I only wish there was some kind of student bundle to get the shot when needed and at a lower price. Overall, I had a great experience, the clinic was clean and inviting, and the staff was super friendly. I've been getting primarily Botox as well as other injections since 2016. My last place was okay, but was mostly lacking on the experience side of things. I couldn't ignore how consistently SkinSpirit came up when I asked others where they go. Truly it seems like I was the last person in Seattle to discover SkinSpirit! Better late than never! Not knowing anyone I just picked the first available and went. A covid-19 world made the initial check in different. Expect questions about possible covid exposures or current symptoms and a temperature check but honestly... please run from anywhere not currently doing that in these times! Seconds after this was done, my practitioner Patrice was ready for me so I followed her back. The place is immaculate, organized, clean, and stunning in design. Loved it in there! Patrice made me so comfortable. She massages my forehead muscles, memorizing my personal anatomic makeup and made sure she understood my goals. She spoke to me about which muscles you should and should not inject to avoid this and that side affect. Things I had heard before even though I told her I was a veteran which I appreciated! I think the inclination is to do the opposite and just go for it but I loved feeling like she was really investing in my treatment and reminding me of the scientific and practical breakdown of what I was getting into. She did a lot of small injections instead of large amounts to one area which was a first for me. Basically a lot of small pokes instead of 4-5 big ones. I had no bruising which I would sometimes get at my other place with less than half the number of pokes. I get that bleeding can sometimes be my fault... but when you already don't feel like someone is taking full care it's hard not to share the blame. When she finished, Patrice asked if it was okay that she call me in a couple of weeks to make sure everything is okay. This is another thing I don't think I've ever had done before and I love. Just an ongoing high-level amount of care and concern for me. Despite this clearly being a very busy spot and Patrice likely seeing people all day back to back, you would never know I wasn't her only client of the day. I really appreciate that. I have been debating getting a lip flip (botox above my upper lip) for months now, and I finally decided to do it. A friend of mine went to SkinSpirit about a month ago and had a great experience, so I booked my appointment and went in last week. Just a side note, their COVID-19 measures were great (had to wait outside, wear a mask, temperature scanned, etc.) so I was already feeling good about it when I showed up. This was my first appointment at SkinSpirit (and my first time ever getting botox), and Patrice made me feel so instantly comfortable and relaxed. I was scared the environment would feel intimidating, but everyone was extremely welcoming and Patrice explained everything to me (since I really didn't know what to expect). I had 2 units of botox injected on either side, and it was super quick and easy. Patrice was really comforting when doing the injections (I was kind of nervous about the pain), and she just made me feel really at ease. I was in and out of the office in around 10-15 minutes (yay efficiency!) and am SO thrilled with the results. It was really evident that the workers at SkinSpirit knew what they were doing, and that this was a reputable, professional place to go. For the longest time I have wanted to try lip fillers but was so nervous to actually go through with it. I found Pinky's account on Instagram and immediately was obsessed with her results! After following her work for about a year I finally decided to reach out and book an appointment. I went to Skin Spirit at U Village to address some chicken pox scarring from childhood and at the consult they suggested I do a course of microneedling . They told me I would definitely see some improvement, but the degree of improvement varies from person to person. However, after finishing the course of treatment, months out, the scarring actually looks worse than when I first started. When I put on make-up it seems to make it stand out more than it used too. To make things worse, the aesthetician that did my treatments acted annoyed when I told her that it was hurting too much during microneedling, even though there was bleeding and I later found out the numbing cream should have been kept on my face longer. At the end when I said I did not see an improvement at all I was told that I could try dermafillers even though this was never suggested as an option in the beginning and I could have just saved my money for that treatment. This place is advertised as a medical spa but it is not. It might work if you're looking for purely cosmetic enhancements, but if you're looking to correct some sign of injury or illness I'd save your money and go somewhere that really knows how to deal with that - and maybe involves someone with an actual MD in the process at some point. (My only interaction was a 1 min interaction with someone via Zoom to check on pre-existing health conditions or something, seemingly for liability reasons) read more
