Pinky and Kavina are my dream team! I've had Botox at numerous places and Pinky by far is the best! She gives me "sprinkles" of Botox all over versus giving me large quantities in just two places on my forehead-- resulting in a dead giveaway for Botox, the "Spock brow". I love that Pinky looks at the face in its entirety, and giving it a natural balance. I have gone to Kavina for both miconeedling and bikini laser hair removal. The microneedling gave my post accutane skin the life, smoothness and the glow it was lacking. I told Kavina I was not worried about the pain from the laser hair removal (although there was literally close to none), I was worried being so exposed and venerable. I get laser hair removal done here. Yes, it's expensive and it might be a bit more than the other ones but they're fantastic, so I consider it to be worth it. I like to book my appointments in the morning so that parking isn't as difficult. I recommend buying LHR in a package of 5, you'll get a discount and depending on how your skin reacts, you'll probably need a few sessions. I started with getting my armpits done, absolutely painless and it probably took about 1 minute per armpit. After the first treatment, it eliminated maybe 60% of the hair on my left armpit and maybe 40% on my right. It's kind of a strange process because after you get it done, you have to wait a week or two until the hair actually falls out. I don't know about you guys, but I'm happy to fork over the extra money knowing that I'll never have to worry about what or how they're treating my skin. To me it's not worth the risk to end up having a painful treatment or risk damaging my skin just to save a few dollars. But hey, that's just my opinion :). read more

I was lucky enough to get my signature facial from Adriana, which helped me clear up a sudden and major acne flare up from graduate school stress. Since then, Adriana compassionately guided me through an at-home skin routine and other services like laser hair removal, peels, and eventually micro-penning (which has been a game changer!) I never felt pressured to get a service or an add-on or to purchase products, which I've experienced at almost every other salon. Needless to say, the fact that it's 2023 and I just had a micro-penning session with Adriana is a testament to the incredible results I have achieved. I had a bad day today with the staff. When you are late for ten minutes for appointment , they will reschedule you and also charge fee saying that those are the rules. This is okay , but when you are on time, they will make you wait for 15min outside the door in the cold , not even allowing to step inside after all that temp checking etc, again saying those are the rules. why is it rules in favor to them. how about treating on time or else do not charge when people are late. I went to see Catherine at skin spirit to get my lips plumped! A few years ago I went to a different business that was highly recommended and left feeling unsatisfied, I only got a half syringe and a left with little bumps in my lips. So I wanted to give it one more go but expressed to Catherine I still want them to look natural, ( we went with 1 full syringe) I don't care to have much bigger lips I just wanted them a little more plump and evened out. Catherine really takes her time and explains every detail she is doing! She held the mirror up and always asked for my opinion and if I see a spot I would like to add more volume. She was so wonderful and knowledgeable and so excited to do my first injections ever, and she had time on the day of my consultation to do the actual injections! Edit: 2 hours After I posted this review Lindsay the manager of the clinic called and apologized for my experience. She was gracious, helpful, apologetic and listened to my concerns, and because of her prompt and exemplary customer service I would return to Skin Spirit in the future. Thank you Lindsay! Where to start. Ok first thing first, clearly many people have had wonderful experiences here so I am going to consider my poor experience a fluke. That being said I am pretty unhappy across the board with my experience at skin spirit. I am based in LA and have gotten all my work done in LA. I have years of experience with Botox and fillers. I first had my lips done 3 years ago and it made such a huge difference in my overall facial balance. My 29th birthday was at the end of April and it was time to refresh my Botox and I hadn't had my lips done in over a year and they were looking thin especially my top lip. I was given a recommendation for a specific injector at this location and I made an appt and requested this specific injector as a birthday present to myself. his is where things first went wrong. When I arrived at the spa on the day of my appt I was informed by front desk that my injector had called out sick and that "they had tried to get ahold of me." Well, no they did not. I had no missed calls, voicemails, emails etc. I was annoyed especially since I had to take time off of work to get this appt, and again, no one had tried to contact me as far as I could tell. I asked if there was anyone who could see me that day because I was working with a tight schedule. They found someone who could fit me in I was relieved and excited. (Full disclosure I won't be using my injectors name because on a personal level she was so lovely and one bad experience isn't indicative of someone's entire career) I spoke with my new injector about what I wanted: light Botox (I'm pretty young) and I brought in a picture of MYSELF the last time I had my lips done for a reference. I also told my injector about certain things I know about my face from being so familiar with medical aesthetics, asymmetries etc. We used half a syringe and around 20 units and that was that. Two weeks later my lips were more asymmetrical than they had been when I went in before and I needed more Botox in my forehead. I was pretty frustrated with my lips especially. They looked worse and more asymmetrical than they looked before I went in. I called to cancel a follow up and expressed my dissatisfaction with my entire experience, from the original injector (the only reason I went to Skin Spirit) being absent and not receiving any call or email about that, to my experience with my actual results. I told them my lips were uneven and they were going to need more product to fix it and more Botox but I was not interested in paying more at this location because I'd be heading back to Beverly Hills and the spa I go to is much more affordable (14 dollars a unit for Botox? Idk but to me that seems VERY high, I pay 9 at Alchemy 43 in LA if you're in that area I HIGHLY recommend visiting them) The receptionist told me that if it's a matter of correction and not just wanting them bigger then it would be covered by the spa. I decided to go to the follow up and get a touch more Botox and my lips fixed. The result: my lips are far more symmetrical so that's a plus, but they are quite a bit fuller than I'd ever want them to be while taking into consideration it has only been a few days and they're still swollen. The kicker: I left and was charged 450 dollars. I didn't make a stink because I was exhausted and swollen and ready to go home. In my mind if an injector leaves my lips uneven and nothing like the reference I showed OF MYSELF the spa should do something to make the mistake right. I was offered no discount, no credit, not even an apology for my, to be frank, crappy experience. At the end the day I spent over 900 dollars. Are my lips fine? Yeah, but not 900 dollars fine, and especially not considering I thought the correction wouldn't be charged. More importantly Skin Sprit did nothing to redeem or even acknowledge this negative situation, fluke or not I had a pretty bad experience and it is and continues to be the responsibility of the business to remedy that, and for that reason I gave Skin Spirit 1 star. read more

My skin transformed here. My monthly facials and my quarterly botox and fillers has made me look the best I can look. I don't look like I've had anything done, I just look really good for me and my age. I'm 62 years old so my skin isn't as naturally plump as it use to be. When I noticed the change I was probably in my mid 40s and had my first appointment with my current esthetician Shelley. She noticed I was tan and asked what my skin goals were, when I told her it was to keep my skin from looking so old, she told me to get into a real sunblock regimen, I did. She also gave me the right products and skincare routine to do at home, I did. She suggested facials 4X a year, I did that. Now I'm getting them 1X a month. My skin looks better now than it did when I was 45. I started seeing my injector Pinky maybe 10 years ago. She asked what was bothering me and it was the lines between my eyebrows, she took care of that. Then I started noticing lines on my forehead, she took care of that. She was always very conservative with her injections and what I mean by that is she never when overboard. I still had expression in my face but my face was just beginning to look softer. During Covid, and all of those zoom calls I started to notice my temples were caving in (not sure how else to put this) therefore it was changing the shape of my eyes. I asked Pinky about this and sure enough she started doing filler on me and my face has come back alive. I get compliments all the time about how good I look, not because I look different, but because I look like me but not quite as old as I should. I highly recommend skin spirit and trusting their staff to help you with your overall skin goals. It's worth every penny... I don't wear make up because I don't have bad skin that needs foundation to look good. Highest recommend possible for this clinic and these professionals.
