Very good place to chill out and have a good time by the pier, the night view is very relaxing and nice. The service is very good, they would come to ask if everything was ok, the waiting time was none when we went for dinner. They were playing nice live music at night to make the experience even better. It was just a few steps from the hotel. And you can walk by the pier once you've finished, it is a very good place to be! I tried the key lime pie and was excellent, also the entree with shrimp, fried fish, cabbage salad and many other things was perfect for the 2 of us. There's also a nice place by the entrance with sand and a fireplace, there are games to play in the same while waiting, they thought of everything! The drinks were good too! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing vibes! Every staff member was incredibly friendly. Arrived around 8:30pm on a Friday night and was told to anticipate a 30 minute wait as they are short staffed. Ended up waiting about 5 minutes to be seated and all the staff were hustling! As the name suggests, they are on a dock and the breeze from outside is a wonderful way to enjoy a meal. Huge restaurant with tons of inside and outside seating. Bathrooms were very clean. There is a small outside seating area with sand to really capture the island vibes. Children were playing in the sand but not obnoxiously. Live music was playing also. My server Taneisha was wonderful! Not pictured is the killer colada--similar to a pina colada but not quite the same. Highly recommend. The apps were baked blue crab dip and smoked fish dip. Fish dip is a blend of wahoo and mahi. Can't pick a favorite between the two! They're THAT good. Most fish dips have canned/jarred jalapeños and leftover condiments. This fish dip has fresh jalapeños and freshly cut produce of onions and multicolored tomatoes. Delish! Coconut crusted snapper might be too sweet for some, but it was perfect for us! Maduros are sweet, rice is sweet, and snapper was sweet. So if you're more of a savory person, this might not be for you. Snapper was incredible. Lobster Mac & cheese was to die for. I always order lobster Mac if I see it on a menu so I had to order it here. It did not disappoint! Humongous lobster tail on top of the pasta and the cream sauce was worthy of licking the bowl clean. Was too full to finish the food which means too full to try any deserts but they looked delicious from what I saw being served to other guests. Yeah 1 star is generous. French onion soup was good, not piping hot snd not crispy as requested. It might not have been made using a real stock-. My friend ordered ceviche which he said was good. My tenderloin (ordered medium rare) arrived butterflied , was $32 and delivered beyond well. It was grey on one side, was probably from the tail of the tenderloin snd was cooked to shoe leather. My friends plate was cleared (he enjoyed the fish tacos) and i still haven't gotten my steak. The kitchen closed and they threw the mashed potatoes away so that was a no go. Our server Tenisha was great- charming and efficient. Her manager (Kayleigh?) was snippy, told me my steak wasn't burnt after I said it was-and it was. she said it was an issue because Of my allergy to fish). 20 minutes later, my steak arrived with cold rice. I def do not recommend this place. Although service was great, the manager didn't know how to please her customers. We stopped unexpectedly at this place and we really liked it. Service is fast and employees are cordials. Food is on the bar style quality but good, drinks are ok as well. We tried the nachos as appetizers and flat bread. Flat bread felt a little too crunchy but I liked it that way. They have room inside for big parties and and large area by the water on the outside patio. Big TVs all over the bar area, great for sports. If you are around the area, give them a try. Food was exceptionally good, classic Florida keys dockside menu. Best fish and chips and fish dip I've had yet here. Highly recommend it for later afternoon and sunset. Then I ordered the Key Largo Tacos and opted for the blackened mahi-mahi option. I love proper tacos with slaw and there tacos were proper. local mahi or shrimp, fried, grilled or blackened, warm tortillas, pickled onions, crispy cabbage, jack cheese, tropical salsa, chipotle crema. The bar was very clean, both indoor and out. Outdoors is a large rectangle tiki bar, surrounded with high top tables. Indoor is booth style seating, and a smaller u-shaped bar. There is a small sand floor area with patio style chairs and cornhole. We were pleased with the atmosphere, but the service was less than expected, especially for a tourist driven area. The bartender was beyond rude, slammed drinks down, and did not respond to any "thank you's". I originally ordered a mojito, he was unable to make the beverage because he was out of mint and couldn't get it from the other bar- mind you, it's a 40ft distance. Most appalling, the grinch slapped the check down on the bar without being requested at 9:46 pm as to shuffle us out, when the establishment is listed to close at 11:00 pm. What saved this visit was the product, our drinks were spectacularly crafted and served quickly! read more

Very fresh seafood! I was looking for a place that had salads and this place seemed pretty great! I was also looking for a place that had dockside seating so this place just had it all. I had the spinach salad and I added Mahi to it (for an extra $8) and I'm not even kidding when I say it was one of the best salads I've had in a restaurant. The citrus vinaigrette or dressing that comes on the side is oil based and very good! I loved it. The fish was amazing! Very very fresh! And really good flavor! My boyfriend had the fish and chips! It looked sooo good! He seemed to enjoy it! My parents had Mahi sandwiches and they liked them very much. We also shared the peel and eat shrimp. It was so yummy and the cocktail sauce was great! The shrimp is sprinkled with Cajun seasoning and it's pretty great! The only downside was that we were not able to be seated closer to the dock even though we asked and there were seats available. Not sure why, but we had to end up sitting on high chairs. Also, it's pretty pricey but I guess you are paying for location and fresh ingredients and fish! Next time I definitely want to try their key lime pie and try to get better seating. Their drinks also looked pretty good so I would like to try those! read more

So, don't recommend. Lastly we ordered the nachos which were superrrr average. Very bland. The ground beef had barely any flavor. The cheese was the liquid kind, not regular melted cheese.
