Take out orders are not their favorite. I order 2 lunches . it should've came with the choice baked potatoes or mashed potatoes. Plus a salad.. They didn't ask which one I wanted and no salad included.. they just hung up. I think the mashed potatoes were instant it had no flavor.. The worst service and dull food ever. Never going back. It was drowned in gravy.

Great breakfast place. Friendly, clean, great customer service. Breakfast is fantastic from bacon and eggs to pancakes and waffles. To chicken fried steak and almost anything Greek you need. The place is a spot on perfect little diner for anytime meal.

Great food but seemed a little pricey for cafe. We got 2 of the 3 egg breakfast and a breakfast sandwich was $46. Very good and quick.

The food is still pretty good. .. the ambiance is not great and tv choices at the bar are offensive and not customer neutral

Best Bites takes you to Seabrook!…read more Today, while visiting my grandson, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Athena's Corner Greek Restaurant in Seabrook, and it was absolutely delicious! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm Mediterranean charm. The restaurant is beautiful, inviting, and filled with Greek-inspired décor. You can choose to dine inside or relax on their lovely outdoor patio. Our waitress, Rachel, was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. She made us feel right at home! We kicked off our meal with a couple of appetizers, and they were every bit as impressive as they were delicious. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and served with warm, fluffy pita bread. We also enjoyed the falafels--perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and even better dipped in their spicy feta spread! For my entrée, I chose the Lunch Special featuring a savory spinach pie, served with a fresh Greek salad and a cup of their famous Avgolemono (Greek lemon soup) . It was light, comforting, and packed with flavor. My grandson ordered the Chickpea Salad , a dish he loved so much on a previous visit that he couldn't resist ordering it again. That's always a good sign! My husband selected the Stuffed Shrimp Special . The plate was absolutely beautiful--jumbo baked shrimp stuffed with a savory crab dressing, served over a bed of mushroom orzo. It tasted every bit as incredible as it looked! If you're ever in Seabrook, Texas, and you're craving something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, I highly recommend Athena's Corner Greek Restaurant. You'll enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, outstanding hospitality, and food that's made with care and bursting with authentic flavor. Best Bites Approved! Have you been to Athena's Corner? All dinners come with a Greek garlic bread starter. I love their iced tea- fresh brewed and always good! The wine is Greek and seems a small bit pricey, but for the extra dollar or two it's worth it- Very delicious. Anything you get at Athena's is amazing so feel free to branch out on your choice. And the desserts are large and homemade! It's hard to save room though. You'll love the fish, steaks, and kebabs. They do a nice lunch sandwich- and still comes with the bread and a Greek salad. If you come on a weekend evening, you may run into the owner having the time of her life! And they take pride in serving the most sweet and ripe slice of melon with every dish. Started to enjoy this first each time I come. It is that delicious, but why can't I find fruit like that anywhere at a grocery store? Give this place a try. Yummy. Officially the authentic Greek restaurant without going overboard. Wait- the homemade 3 layer chocolate cake and the lemon cake! Actually bought a whole one for a large birthday party and everyone wanted to know the bakery name- just Athena's homemade cake! Remember, Greek food is fresh with best ingredients. Service is above that notch and family atmosphere with Greek music- always. But I do find I'm stopping in there solo all the time; others too! First of all I walked in from the heat and had already placed my order and sat down when I realized....I don't think their AC is on? Backing up a bit, I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate which comes with side salad, tzatziki, pita and - my choice - fries. I asked for a tap water and she said their fountain machine was broken and I had to buy a bottle of water at $2.99 (seriously is a fountain machine the only way I can get water?). OK so I get the 2.99 water + the $19.99 plate and the machine prompts for tip. I left 18% having worked in restaurants years ago, I feel a lot of empathy for those who work so hard serving others and get paid so little, and service and the food there have always been great in my prior visits. That brings my bill to $29!. For one person having lunch, not even a glass of wine. OK, but the food has always been great, right? and I usually make 2 meals out of it.... Moving along, the salad came out with brown wilted lettuce, two specks of feta and no dressing. Then the chicken which is normally so flavorful and juicy, was dry, tough and flavorless. Tasted old. The less than tablespoon of tzatziki was drab. The french fries were the only decent thing on the plate. I didn't even try the pita since I was eating so many fries. In the midst of all the disappointment and wondering WTH happened to this lovely place, several more tables come in and magically, the AC comes on! Maybe there is hope? But no, NOT TODAY. Next thing I see is a cockroach running under tables. I just got up, left my mostly uneaten plate and walked out. No one said thank you, or how was it, just like how I wasn't greeted on entry. Management needs to visit this establishment. I will NEVER visit again.
