This place is definitely not worth the hype in my opinion. The coffee was ok, the wait time was insane. It is a really novel concept which is fun but I definitely wouldn't go back. The food menu had some interesting items, but we did not want to wait any longer to try them out. read more

This place is in the middle of Miami in the park. It is unique and cute, very instagramable (I think that's the point). I wouldn't call it a cafe, more like a vendor. It is well-organized and everybody is eager to please. The tables are outside, very cozy. The coffee was good, the cake was fresh, a little too sweet for my taste. If you are looking for something unique, this place is definitely for you. There is parking also all around. My concern was there is no place to wash hands. They did accommodate me with a sanitary napkin, but it was awkward. As I said, everybody is truly nice. But if you have sanitary issues, this place is not for you. It seems like they are still upgrading, so hopefully this will be fixed as well. read more

Sky Coffee Buenos Aires is a new coffee shop in Brickell so I had to check it out. There are no servers to take your order so you need to go inside the airplane to place your order and pay too. They give you a number for your food and drinks that will be delivered to you. The coffee comes first, we had the Tres Leches Latte and Hazelnut Cappucino. They were served hot, but not much caffeine in it. It was light coffee and some flavor. We didn't like it. The food took some time to be served. Relaxing outdoor atmosphere in a hot and humid Miami. You guys have to go here!! We came early one Monday morning and got to chat to the staff and it's a home grown business and they are so nice!!! Also can we talk about how cool it is that it's a plane?? It truly looks like that. The vibes and ambiance here are definitely there and the coffee exceeded expectations!!! This is the cutest little coffee shop!! As I'm a flight attendant and was in the area, this was a must stop. It's December and they decorated for Christmas with Santa and reindeer and a tree which was very cute. The service was prompt, you order inside the plane and then they give you a number you take to your table. There's a few seats inside the plane, otherwise there's a good amount of outdoor seating which is what I opted for as it was a beautiful day. I got the dulce de leche latte and caprese sandwich. The latte was adorable with the airplane art, and it tasted equally as good. The caprese sandwich was good, but nothing special, although no complaints either. I'm so happy I stopped in here and would love to come back again soon. read more

What a cool coffee shop! Prior to our visit to Miami we were scoping out unique places to try and this was the top of our list! We ordered a lot because of having kids with us, and not sure what they would want etc. however I snapped a few pictures of some of the items we ordered. Our favorite item that's not pictured were the Nutella croissant - soooo good. The reason for 4 stars; Apple Maps has two locations listed we went to the first one to find the empty field. So then clicked the second and got taken to the right place. Then we had a little mishap that a drink got spilled. My boyfriend went up to order his new drink told them what he wanted, paid for it and they brought it iced instead of hot like he ordered. He could have spoke up then and there but we have little kids with us and were pretty much finished. So we just accepted the iced latte and went on with our day. Thinking about it now, we should have spoke up and asked if there was a miscommunication. The scenery is really cool, it's like a little urban oasis. And the chickens are soo cute wandering around. Definitely would stop again if in the area. read more

The airplane aesthetic is the reason we stopped in. The coffee wasn't bad, but I can't say it was worth the price. They are really capitalizing on the photo-worthy element with props and costume pieces which felt a little gimmicky. If you're in the area and happen to be craving coffee, give it a shot, but I wouldn't go too far out of your way unless you're an aviation aficionado. read more

Other than it being a different kind of coffee shop, the coffee itself was just okay. To order you go inside the plane where you can take pictures in some of the seats that are still inside. You order at the counter (inside the plane) and it's very hectic there because that is where the food runners are also coming and going from so it's a lot of people just huddled around. It was also hot inside the plane so we couldn't wait to get out and go back outside. There are tables and chairs outside. Would I come back? Probably not. But it was an interesting experience. read more

Coffee, food, service all great. Roosters ‍ The location is actually Edgewater, and hard to miss from Biscayne Blvd. Creatively repurposed an airplane where you place your order with the "flight attendants." There is a good amount of seating, some covered, to relax and enjoy a cup of really good coffee and tasty food (I had salmon toast). Roosters, ducks, you name it roam the space. They don't bother you unless you feed them or drop food on the ground. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd go again for sure. read more

Super cool concept, friendly staff, but coffee was only ok. The concept of the airplane was something that I've never seen before, it was so neat! We got 2 cortaditos and an iced caramel latte, but they were only ok. To be fair we visited in the late afternoon and the coffee tasted a bit burnt. This spot would be a repeat if we were ever in the area again in need of a pick-me-up, but not necessarily my first choice. read more

Sat here for several hours on a weekday and I am not sure if I would work from here again. I ordered both from inside the MD-88 and from the 'Captain' who came around and in both cases, it took a ridiculously long time for a cup of coffee to arrive. The self ordered coffee took about 15 minutes and the captain ordered coffee took over 30 minutes (it was forgotten). And mind you, these weren't complicated coffees, these were regular cappuccinos. They have outdoor seating and even an air conditioner for the outdoors (?really, Miami?)... they do have outdoor igloos that look like they are comfortable, but they are $20 and require a reservation. With so many coffee options, you can do better around here. read more

Finally checked out Sky Coffee. It's a great idea for a cool coffee spot and located right in Brickell. It was pretty packed when I came, with no available tables and its first-come first-serve style where you order inside. Also didn't realize that they cook inside of the plane; it's hot and smokey in there. Of course, I had to try a mocha latte. It was really good! There are a ton of options when it comes to food items, which I didn't try any of this time, but will have to try next time. A comment about the tipping... I don't mind tipping but the people taking the orders are on the customer side of the counter so they're standing right next to you and watching everything you click. It's pretty awkward/uncomfortable in my opinion. Anyway, I believe it's a pop-up so check it out before it's gone! read more

Okay, stay with me here. At first glance this cafe might seem like an Instagram picture friendly only place where the food is just bleh, in reality the food is beyond expectations. The sky cafe is located just on the outskirts of Brickell in Miami. The highlights of this place for me personally - Open fresh air - The coffee is so good, every person in my party enjoyed their drinks both hot and cold - attentive and friendly staff - shaded seating area The line wasn't long at all for my friends and I and we went on a Saturday at 12 pm. The menu options are limited since the cafe is inside of an airplane but still plenty of yummy options including sandwiches and empanadas. One thing to be aware of is the parking lot is $10 so you are probably better off trying to find street parking and walking to the cafe. Overall if I have anyone coming into town, I would take them here in a heartbeat! Sky Coffee Buenos Aires has such a cool airplane concept! We literally came here right after landing in Miami coming from Houston, TX. We needed an afternoon pick me up coffee after our flight in. Walking up, they have nice Christmas decor ready for IG pics. The black and gold plane is completely renovated into a cool coffee shop. They offer breakfast, sandwiches, pastries, desserts, tea, and of course coffee. We tried their iced caramel latte and 2 cortaditos. Being in Miami, a cortadito is a must. Unfortunately, these cortaditos were just ok. The coffee was slightly burnt to be honest. But overall, the coffee got the job done and gave us that boost of energy we were looking for. The service was quick despite being a small airplane coffee shop. Would I come back again? Ehh maybe, but we've had better coffee from elsewhere. Sky Coffee is a trending spot in Brickell - because it is definitely unique and Instagrammable. Food and coffee - I felt it was only okay; it was definitely on the pricier side, and I feel there are more tasty and quality places in Brickell. However, they do have plenty of outdoor seating, without being right in the hustle of Brickell - so that was quite nice, to be able to enjoy our meal outside in a more quiet setting. read more

In all fairness they just opened so it there's that. The service was slow AF but the staff was so friendly and extremely apologetic to multiple tables. . It's super cute and instagram photo op ready for all of the influencers. The prices are good and not overly expensive but for instance the salmon toast was only one slice and let's be honest two should have been served ! When ordering different items in the menu they were out so I believe they should have a limited menu while they are waiting on certain shipments etc. All in all they have to work out some kinks as any new establishment would . I look forward to potentially revisiting after they adjust. read more

My sister (@shiondafarrell on all social media platforms) sent me a video of this spot when I told her I was going to Miami for a quick trip. When I saw the video I knew I had to check it out. We landed around 7am which meant this coffee shop was our first stop. It's hard to miss this spot given that it is literally an airplane! We were able to park on the street. The street parking does require payment via park mobile. Walking up to this coffee shop is such a treat. The owner did not leave any detail out. There is an actual (although not functional ) metal detector, suitcases outside and you can actually board the plane! You can walk inside and take some pictures at a table set up inside the plane or order from inside. However, there is also an ordering counter from the outside. I opted for the pistachio latte and the avocado toast my friend ordered a croissant, empanada and a strawberry smoothie. We were provided with a number for our table and instructed to sit where we like. Please note that the only seating available is outside. The food and drinks came out in less than 10 minutes. Some of the services were dressed with captain hats as if they were pilots. They are committed to the theme! My latte was great! I am not sure what syrups they use for flavors, but it's one of the best pistachio flavored lattes I have had. The toast was good. However, I will point out that it appears they use an avocado spread or dip opposed to fresh avocados. My friend said her smoothie was the most amazing drink she has ever tasted. She said it tasted like they used fresh strawberries, and the whipped cream tasted home made. She said the croissant was good, but did not have to order the empanada again. Overall I love this place! I think that this was such a unique idea. Let's be honest, there are a million coffee shops. The owner came up with an idea to make this one stand out! WELL DONE! read more

This coffee shop is a lot of fun! An airplane turned coffee shop in the middle of Miami seems to fit just perfect actually. Definitely an experience if in the area. Saw a coffee spot called "Sky" and had to stop by, given my name! To our surprise, it's a literal plane reconstructed into a coffee shop - how cool! Felt a little tourist trappy / Instagram-trappy, but we enjoyed our experience nonetheless. When you walk up on the ramp, you're immersing yourself in a legitimate airplane experience. The cockpit looks truly functional, and the way it's decorated just further plays into the aviation theme with the employees flight attendant attire and menu items listed on a departures/arrivals-themed screen. This place is definitely an easy photo op with and actually plane as it's offing place! You don't eat on the plane you eat outside so be aware as you plan. They do have private bubbles for reservations with a minimum amount order that includes AC . The food itself is very tasty! I had the avocado toast and it was delicious and perfect consistency. This cafe located in a repurposed airplane is certainly unique in appearance, and their service is also top notch. The staff were so friendly and quite efficient at what they do and helped move the line along swiftly. I tried the latte ($5) which came out hot and tasted pretty good with a bit of added sugar. Everything was brought to you which was nice, but it was a 10 minute wait for the drink which is a bit longer than I've waited at other cafes, but understandable since it was fairly busy. It's nice that they have nondairy milks available ($1 surcharge). While it was busy on a weekday when I went, there was still plenty of seating outside including in the shade and with a few rugged, worn down airplane seats inside. They have an extensive food and bakery menu that I didn't try this time, but it seemed like there were very limited vegetarian options and no vegan items or pastries that I could see. read more

It was such a cool experience. Please keep in mind that it's hot here in FL. There is no AC seating. You go into the plane, order,come out the other side, and sit in the covered area. Though there are fans going, it was still quite hot. Nonetheless, it was definitely a cool outing to do when in the area. Super cute, trendy spot, but the coffee and food is mediocre. Maybe if I had ordered differently I'd have another opinion. My sister and I shared the caprese sandwich which basically tasted like a grilled cheese with a hint of basil. The two tomato's which were on the sandwhich seemed to be canned sundried tomatoes, definitely not fresh or warm. On the contrary, the crisp crunch of the bread on the sandwhich was pleasing. The two drinks ordered were not good. One was the mocha cold brew and the other was an iced chai- oat-milk- honey. The chai basically tasted like oat-milk and a splash of honey. On a positive note, my father ordered a sausage sandwich and said it was delicious. read more

This is a great touristy little spot. It's a nice edition to the edgewater area providing a nice outdoor vibe in contrast to other coffee shops in the area. Service can be ok but the coffee is what's amazing here. I also love their Dulce de leche media Luna's. Coffee out of a plane is very memorable and perfect for friends and family. Just keep in mind no WiFi. read more

That's how good it is. The service matches the energy -- attentive, genuine, and the kind that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It's the full package. Now the food. I don't even know the name of the chicken cheeks dish, but I think about it. Whatever it is, order it. The entraña was cooked perfectly -- if you know Argentine cuts, you know how much that matters, and they nailed it. And then the dulce de leche crepe. I don't throw around the word incredible lightly, but there's no other word for it. Just get it. Don't leave without ordering the sangria either.
