I've spent $50,000+ with them and was treated poorly today. Quick History - A couple years ago my fiancé and I bought my engagement ring here. We had the best customer service! Our salesman was incredibly kind. He was super knowledgeable and worked with us to get the diamond/ring of my dream. Over the years we've bought multiple other pieces. The customer service here is typically amazing. This WAS our go to jewelry place. My past couple of visits have been less than stellar. It seems like something has shifted with their service. I came in to get my engagement ring and my diamond earrings cleaned (which I bought here). I will admit, my diamond earrings were pretty dirty. I wear them everyday and they desperately needed a cleaning. A representative approached me and I told her my jewelry needed to be cleaned. She takes them and she looks at my earrings in disgust. That part, I'm too offended by. I can understand, because they were pretty grubby. Here's my issue - she comes back with my jewelry and I can tell my earring have been cleaned. However, my ring had not been cleaned. My ring wasn't even wet. She drops my jewelry in front of me and walks away to the back. I look at my ring and I can see the grime on it. I was waiting for her to come back but she never did. I had to ask another representative to clean it. Thankfully, she did. If this was a busy day, I would have excused the behavior. However, there was literally no one in the store. It was a Wednesday at 2:00PM, nothing was happening. It felt like I was not worth her time. Which I get. She is there to make a sell. I know this might sound like a harsh review over a simple ring cleaning. When you spend that amount of money and are a repeat customer, you expect a higher level of customer service. The messed up thing, I have repeatedly bought jewelry while getting my jewelry cleaned. If she gave me the time of day, I might have bought my wedding band. My fiancé was suggesting that I look/get started making my band. I might try them again, but I'm going to start looking at other places in Las Vegas. read more

Long story short, Sky Diamonds went above and beyond! Big shout out to Pascal and Nathan. It's not every day you get engaged, and I was in way over my head. I wanted to do my due diligence and about three months in to researching online, I knew everything about nothing. Well, I knew everything you could learn without being physically inside a store. I ended up contacting a few high end online jewelers, going to a few cheap stores, and ended up thinking I was better off doing it myself on sites like James Allen. The James Allen experience was not too bad and there's a lot of pros that they have. At the end of the day (ok, end of the quarter...yes three months), I thought I had the best diamond I could afford at the best value taking into consideration the 5 C's. The process, however, was maddening trying to learn it all on my own while hiding it from my fiancé-to-be. Fast forward and the engagement ring was too big from James Allen and we had to return the ring (returns are free). This is where things get interesting. I went over to Sky Diamonds after getting the ring I chose from James Allen with my Fiancé (already engaged now). We wanted to see how the diamond measured up and many stores could not even show us a similar diamond in size and proportion. By this point, I owned an ideal-scope AND a 10x monocular loupe. I even learned diamond proportions and paid a service that helped analyze diamond proportions with light reflections. Anyway, we went into Sky Diamonds to see this thing under their lights and see how it looked next to their diamonds. Pascal greeted us upon entry. She is extremally nice and knowledgeable. She explained all the research I did over months to my fiancé in about 30 minutes and she made it all so easy to follow. When I asked some very technical questions, she was able to get her team to provide a technical response. I hated doing this to her, but then I explained to her James Allen ring and explained my true intentions, but of course offered to buy my ring from Sky Diamonds if she could do better. Sky diamonds was easily able to show a few competing rings. I stepped it up a gear explaining my exact budget, top end, and showed her the James Allen ring. Apparently, Sky Diamonds is also a distributor. Nathan inspected the ring, went on his computer, and was able to show me a James Allen type selection but was also able to show me options that blew James Allen away. Plus, I'd have the comfort of having a local jeweler who I could call at any time or my fiancé could visit for polishing. Long story short, I purchased from Sky Diamonds and couldn't be happier. They really came through. The only regret I have is not starting the process there (or taking so long to leave a review...sorry guys). read more

I've never posted a negative review until now but wanted to warn people that their staff is incredibly rude and are not willing to work with you. A wedding band from another store had broken but the store no longer carries that brand. The manufacturer told me to go to another retailer (listing Sky diamonds as one who I could go to, where they could help me initiate the exchange as they only deal with retailers, not individuals). Sky diamonds told me they could not do it. I then asked about having a custom ring made with my current diamonds and they again told me no. I then asked if they could at least use my center stone if I bought the setting from them. They said yes but wouldn't work with me on getting better diamonds in place of the inferior ones they were offering in their setting. I called another retailer that the manufacturer had suggested (Huntington Jewelers on W. Sahara) and they immediately said they could do both things for me, without hesitation. They were so professional, knowledgeable and kind there and they have now earned my lifetime business. read more
