I will never order from this restaurant again. Ordered door dash from them, and what we received was completely wrong. Went through the door dash platform to have the proper items delivered, and again it was completely wrong. Called the business, they admitted making it incorrectly, and then asked if we could pick up a replacement. We had ordered door dash for a reason; we were unable to pick up. The whole process took over 2 1/2 hours. What a waste. Four items of food we could not eat (one was over the top, can't even taste your food spicy), and a waste of a tip for the poor driver who didn't have any idea that this restaurant doesn't care at all what they are given. It's a shame whenever I feel to write a less than glowing review. But, Sky Dragon Restaurant was taken out by a single employee! You would think that with such a cool name as "Sky Dragon" they couldn't loose. Well, the manager/waiter had a scowl on his face the moment I entered the restaurant. The Mongolian Chicken was good, 3 Stars. Yet, the Vegetable Fried Rice that came with this lunch special was terribly bland. I had to add a quantity of Chinese hot sauce to make it appetizing. I tried to ask the waiter about his restaurant and its history, but he seemed offended that I even wanted to talk with him. He maintained a fowl attitude my entire lunch. He seemed in a near rage whenever I looked over at him. I did find out from him that the previous Chinese restaurant at this same location was named "Fon Lin" and the owners of that restaurant retired. I'm giving Sky Dragon 2 stars instead of 1 star because the cook came out to a read a newspaper and although he didn't speak English, he did give me a sincere smile. Also, the food is certainly worth 2 stars. When I asked for the check, the waiter was talking on his cell phone outside the restaurant and had to be flagged down by the cook. As I was leaving the restaurant the waiter muttered, "Thank you." Unfortunately, it was said coldly and when I turned to say good-bye he was staring away with that same scowl on his face. Remember that movie NeverEnding Story from the mid-80's with the white flying "Luck Dragon" named Falkor? That's what first came to mind when I heard the name of this restaurant, Sky Dragon. Last week was a difficult week for our family with the loss of our grandmother. I ordered half party tray to feed our huge family, when I picked up our food order the staff upgraded my order to full tray orders! This is very generous of them, which our family could not thank them enough for their generosity! It truly made our family happy, my grandmother loved cooking and feeding anyone and everyone. New Year's eve madness! Had no time to cook so I called for a quick fix at a local Chinese Restaurant. Not bad I might say. There was a slight communication barrier when I phone in my order for delivery. Surely enough we got our order in and 40 mins later there was a knock on the door. A sweet lady delivered our food, we signed (since I paid via card) the receipt and swapped it for the food. We order beef chow mien. My son loves the thicker noodles. Chicken fried rice. Okay I got to admit it was pretty good with good size chuck of chicken. The crab puff literally disappeared within mins. Sad face because it came in 6 pcs and I only had one. So Good! Shrimp in garlic sauce. Okay this dish was okay. It was flavorful but I feel like there was only a few shrimps and ton of mix veggie. Not worth the price. Sesame chicken was so bomb! No other chinese restaurant even bothers to make this dish at all spicy but this was all spice and not much flavor. Then we ordered the black bean chicken twice as we had it delivered a second time to correct the mistake, and it was wrong again. They delivered us, on accident, what they said was snow pea chicken with a gelatinous sauce that made it slimy to eat. Gross. I called them to see what they would do for us and they wanted us to come down and get it ourselves. Why would I want to do that after we had it delivered?? I've always been a big fan of this place! I love how stuffed and crispy the egg rolls are! The lunch specials are a great option and you get a ton of food! I'm not a fan of fried rice or chow mein in general so I cant speak of those things, but the Egg Drop soup is delicious, the Wonton soup is full of pork filled wontons and lots of veggies in the broth! Ordered delivery via door dash for the first time last night. Food was okay - some dishes were very bland, others were pretty tasty. All of it came in styrofoam packaging which was surprising and assured I won't order takeout again. It was all pretty greasy and heavy but some of the dishes had good flavor. Delivery took longer than quoted. To their credit the food was nice and hot when it arrived, but it also looked like it had been dropped which could have been the driver's doing. Good thing it was double bagged in plastic bags because there was about 1-2 cups of juice from the food in BOTH bags! Maybe that's why some of it was bland, it was missing the juice! It also didn't come with any steamed rice, and there was nowhere on the menu to order any, which was very disappointing. Not terrible, but for the reasons above we won't be ordering again. read more

Santa Rosa does not have any really good chinese restaurants. But, this one is one of the better ones, food is decent. Price is good and most people there are freindly. Owners usually on site and they actually are very freindly and have great customer service. We frequent this place about once a week. Try it, you might like it. read more

I order sweet and sour chicken and there was no sauce at all on my chicken, veggies raw, and also a pubic hair...Also the chow rain was super dry and plain and my girlfriends food which was the Mongolian beef was still raw/ pink. The broccoli beef was slimy-the beef was inedible but the broccoli was cooked well. The chicken in the chow mein had an off odor and was chewy beyond belief-I could not bring myself to swallow it and the noodles were dry and flavorless. I've gotten delivery from this place a few times, it is nice that you can order online. The first time they forgot my soup, I don't know if I was charged for it or not and the second time the order was wrong but I let the guy know before he left and he ran down to get the right one and apologized like 20 times. Both of these times it was pouring down rain and I live upstairs so I didn't make a fuss about it. They are always here super fast for delivery! Prices are a bit much but it seems that's about average for chinese food in Santa Rosa now. The FOOD! I have gotten a few different things. Everything is always HOT, fresh and the veggies are always crisp. Perfect, really. The chicken is white and tender...I am pretty picky about my meat looking "suspect" and have never gotten any "suspect" meat here. Soup is always delivered hot and tasty. Egg rolls always hot and fresh, pot stickers are wonderful. Broccoli chicken is delicious, as is the kung pow chicken. Wonton soup is so good and I love the hot and sour soup!
