A friend of mine introduced me to this spa. I hadn't had my nails done in over a decade because I'm a germaphobe. Well, this place had me at hello. Sky Spa is immaculate, the service is incredible and the owner took me through her sterilization process and I couldn't be happier. She also superbly did my nails and brows. Recently, my daughter got a gel manicure and had her eyebrows done for prom by Huong. I have tried to go to this nail salon three times, all three times i waited 45+ minutes for my manicure and even when i was getting it the girl kept switching between me and another client. The girl at the front desk always has a "mix up with scheduling appointments". They seem great but i will NEVER go back because i am sick of the poor customer service. read more

I love the spa pedicures here. So worth the extra money for the essential oils and use of herbs/sugar scrubs and hot stones or paraffin (this depends on the season). Either way it is great. The manicures-regular or gel are wonderful too. The new massage therapist is OUTSTANDING. She is very skilled and it was an incredible experience, very professional and thorough. I would have given 4 stars but recently I have had to wait 15-30 minutes or more when I have had scheduled appointments-by phone or use of the web site. I have also heard this happening to other friends I have that go to this spa. The other gripe I have is the new receptionist needs more training. She greets the patrons, as she should, however her rapid fire way of addressing the clients and way of speaking is off putting. This does not blend into the calming and relaxing atmosphere of Sky Spa in general. The issue with waiting for appointments could be tied back to the unskilled receptionist whom requires much more training. Best of the best for a Facial, Pedicure or Manicure. This is my favorite place and will not be looking any further. Very clean and spacious inside with a cozy comfortable atmosphere. The staff is professional and courteous and receptive to your needs. I went on a Thursday afternoon and they weren't busy which was great. I got a manicure with dazzle dry and a regular pedicure. Both were done well and have stayed on for at least a week. I'll definitely be coming back here as the employees are friendly, the prices are good and the place is much nicer than your average nail salon. I've never had a manicure last a week without chipping so I'm very pleased with the work! Great color selection too. read more

Love the clean, sleek decor of this place. Treated myself, my 9yr old and her friend to manicure yesterday and found the experience top notch. The girls got the Angel manicure for kids under 10 and we sat together along the sleek nail counter. Great selection of polishes. The pedicure area looks very spalike with grey and turquoise accents. Manicure treatment includes warm towel, exfoliation and massage prior to nail polish application. Big, airy space with pleasant,attentive technicians. If you are like me and are on a constant search for a good nail salon in Norwood, go to Sky Spa and search no more! I went today for the first time for mani/pedi and will definitely be returning! I was impressed by the beautiful, ultra modern decor and how immaculately clean everything was. During my pedicure, the very friendly hostess brought me a tablet with downloads for every magazine I could want and a water. The mani/pedi itself was probably one of the best I've ever had. I enjoyed it the whole time and my nails and toes look fantastic. They use "sky signature" scrubs and lotions that they make themselves and they are amazing. All the best nail polish, too. I was looking for a new nail salon in the Dedham/Norwood area. I came across Sky Spa on Google and went onto their face book where I could see photos of their work. It looked like they had many bright colors and did a very good job. (If you want to see it before you go check their FB page!) I was greeted right when I walked in and everyone seemed to be very nice. They have a good selection of gel polish. I had Jenna as my nail tech and she did an amazing job. I went to Sky Spa for Waxing- full leg and Brazilain, to be exact. I have had many Brazilian waxes in the past, so I knew what to expect. The technician was very nice, and made me feel comfortable... BUT and this is a HUGE BUT- She double dipped the entire time. In case you are not sure what that means, she used the same applicator for the entire service. *Dip it in the pot, apply to the legs...dip it in the pot, apply to the bikini line... Dip it in the pot, apply it to my rump... Dip it in the pot, apply for touchups... See where this is going? I didn't realize it until about half way through the service, but essentially, the wax pot was full of every other clients germs. Additionally, they use Gigi wax. While Gigi goes on nice and smooth and removes hair easily, it also tends to take skin with it- leaving you with unsightly and potentially painful red patches all over- not exactly the look you are going for when you get a Brazilian. I left there hair-free, but bruised, red, and sore. She never even had me fill out any type of intake forms regarding allergies, etc. which for a professional place is a big no no. If you are going there for nails or a massage, I wish you good luck, but as for waxing, I would avoid this place like the plague! read more
